Make a stripped down system that’s half height but as wide as the two drawers for those of us who have work toppers. Unfortunately the height of the decked and a topper doesn’t leave enough room for larger items. Generators/ pressure washers
I'm all for this
For sure! I’ll buy one once I can select the height.
Needed.
Agreed. I really want this system but think it's too high for camping as well. If it barely cleared the wheel well I'd buy it today.
Nice job on listening to your customers. Every single complaint I had with the previous one was addressed.
Would be nice to see these more modular with a universal center section and vehicle specific side pieces. That way when switching brands of trucks you can keep your box and purchase the sides.
That is the main reason I haven't bought a drawer system, because at some point it will be something sitting around in my barn that I can't sell because it's vehicle-specific.
But then they can't get you to buy twice. Plus they never put their products on sale, they say it's because they want to take care of their workers, but no one puts an item on sale for less than cost. They just don't want to lose profits
Would be nice if it didnt completely screw the height of your truck bed too.
Love how you guys integrated the tie downs. Great job.
Well they had to do something ok. Allbit is good for is making sure the bed of yout truckbis missing paint in 5 places.
Just ordered mine! Can’t wait to get it!
Decked should make a platform bed for your mattress at home.
What an idea
So many of my complaints (very minor ones) addressed. Awesome.
I’m really ready for the midsize toolbox!!!
Amazing, and American made, I'm sold!!!
I LOVE THE DECKED! With that said, for those with the old version, can you make an ammo-can-delete kit with a new tie-down option so we early adopters can get some bed space back? I'm just kidding but not really. HAHA
Wow. Good thing I just bought the old one and they didn't mention a new one was coming out. Thanks!
I have the legacy system for almost 7 years now and love it. The ammo can be useful and useless at the same time but I can live without it. Those new tie downs is awesome cause the only gripe I have is the old ones tends to be a bit of a nuisance because I don't like to keep moving/removing them. I want this new system, but don't need it unless my current legacy system breaks and honestly I tried beating the crap out of it but it just won't break :( I might just have to buy a new truck just to get this new system lmao. As always, keep up the great work! @Decked
Great presentation! Sounds like great folks over there at Decked. Probably what makes the product truly great!
What is great about it?
I love my decked system I had to retro fitted mines to a 06 tundra still holding up well filled with tools for work
Like a pair of gloves and a hammer?
@decked you guys should offer a recycle or upgrade discount. Turn in our older system and get a discount on the new one. You guys can refurbish or recycle the old one. I would upgrade even if I was only getting a $300 coupon with a return shipping label. Take the old one out, Put the new one in, then drop off the old one at a fedex/Ups. I would take mine apart and box it up for $300 off the new one. Everyone wins. Then you can offer the older one at a discount refurbished, or build new ones with the recycled parts
Shoot us an email at Social@DECKED.com
I like this idea, however I've had no issues selling a used system in the past, they're easy to resell
Just sell it
We have beaten the crap out of a couple of these gen 1 decked systems. They start to show age around the 3 year mark under daily heavy use. I’d say that the total service life is 5-10 years under heavy use,10-15 for medium use and longer than the vehicle with light use.
I was honestly on the fence about getting decked boxes for my new 23 silverado 1500 and my newish 2020 f350, but seeing the improvements in this video has convinced me. Probably will get a couple new boxes next year.
Don’t forget that you can put these in a van floor as well. I’ve seen guys that put these in their work vans and it works really great.
Don't forget our Lifetime Warranty as well! Just in case something does happen, you're covered!!
Wow, great job listening to feedback... you guys tackled a lot in this redesign.
🫡
Those dividers almost look molle compatible
Wished I new y’all was coming out with a new a few months ago when I bought mine. 😅
I’m putting a flat bed on my truck so I just sold my first gen box. Had that thing for five years. Excellent product glad to see an American company doing well!
🫡
I love my decked and I like this new design a lot I will be getting one when I upgrade my truck in about 10 years
Good luck. I dont hink they will be around that long.
Will you also be releasing an updated service body decked system? I was just considering ordering one.
These jonestly look like a lot of good improvements. I have theboriginal in my truck. Im building a camping trailer and will be ordering a set for that soon.
As long as your camping doesnt take you down a gravel road should be fine.
Will milwaukee packout items fit in there?
Done! Daughter can do without braces for another year… plus… (most) lads will view the sneering, snaggle tooth girl as a genuine threat. Win-Win! Ordering in 2 weeks!
🤣🤣🤣 that’s one way to keep the boys away. As a father of 3 now adult girls I approve
Wish I could get my golf bag in that drawer!!
You can. I just had to try a few different bags before I found one that fit. It is a carry bag. I had to get rid of my cart bag.
This looks great. To fix the access to the additional 18", you could just put a flap on top with a hinge that you can lift up when you need to access the stuff in the back of the drawer. You would probably need to add some weather proofing on the hinge.
What happened to the drawers for the sprinter, I don’t see an option for one? I just purchased one of the old models last month so kind of bummed out that there’s now a new model available lol!
Seriously, I just bought this... Damn it. This is my biggest complaint of it.
Go Chopper! Fancy finding you here when researching some overland options
🫡
Curious to see more about the boxes that come with the drawers.
We'll be doing some features soon!
Get the dust proof containers. Without them the system is junk.
@@fasfgasdfagadsf I’m reading the comments and you put your two cents in on just about everything and usually in a sarcastic and totally non-constructive way. Who are you and why so negative? You come off as nothing more than an unhappy, bitter person!
So what if I’ve got the original setup and want to buy the new version? Y’all do trade ins? haha
Damn wish I knew you guys were gona upgraded them cuz I got mine less then 12 months ago and I like it but the new upgrades are awesome!
Shoot us an email at Social@DECKED.com!
Reaching the back of the drawer:
Woulda been cool to add a flap door whatever on the deck above the drawers. Flip it up and have full access all the way back
I modified my drawers right after I saw the problem. I wish I would have waited an extra month to purchase my unit. I like the new improvements much better than the original
How did you modify your drawers?
I bought too early!!! Man, that's nice!! Good job!
Any of that backwards compatible? Maybe some upgrades to the old system?
Shoot us an email at Social@DECKED.com!
Love the improvements. These are addressing all of the concerns that I have had with my OG system. Just 1 serious question. Are you guys offering a trade up deal? Also, are you going to offer the gun rack dividers in the new system? They work great for fishing poles as well.
We're not able to accept any trade ins for Systems at this time
Do u make something to drive a A.T.V on top of the deck?. Like a ramp from the tailgate to the top of the deck
We don't, but Titan Ramps makes some good ones!
I use a set of BIG BOY ramps, they reach over the tailgate onto the Decked perfectly
what about if your truck bed has the onboard power system, will you be able to access that plug in? I have a 2021 f150 with the 5'6 bed.
You'll have full access to the pro onboard panel!
Decked needs to make a full height Decked systme. Need drawers with at least 12" clearance.. ...... Please
Why doesn’t Decked come out with a system for the Jeep Wrangler JLU and 4xe?
Got any plans for a product to fit around a typical 5th wheel that would give some secure storage?
Just our Tool Box currently!
Great company that will try to get it right with the customer!! I purchased the toolbox and got a full refund due to its crack with cold weather and I still use it to this day!!!
Glad to hear we got you taken care of!
So they crack in cold weather?
@@sparks701 the first version did but the new updated ones don’t. The spring assist for the lid and cold plastic cracked on their first version but I still use it just fine
Hi, Ready to place my order. I have two quick questions. In a 5th (2022) Gen Ram 2500 with the bed utility package (Receptacle and bed light switch) will I still have access to these?
Can you bolt down items to the top i.e. coolers, jack brackets, compressors, bike racks, etc..?
Thanks
Yes! You'll have full access to your outlets! And the System now comes with built in D-Ring Tie Downs!
Can the boxes be opened while in the drawers? Will there be an actual sale on the older style ones until stock is depleted? 🙂👍
Yes the new cases were designed to be able to be opened in the drawer! Aren't we finally smarter a few years later!? There is a closeout locaiton on our site for old systems and old accessories you can find them in our footer here: decked.com/products/decked-drawers
decked.com/collections/replacement-parts
Looks great but why not add some hatch doors on the top cover so we can access the section of the drawer that remains under the top while fully extended?
Weatherproofing mainly!
Are rifle racks being produced for these new drawer systems? Didn't see them as an accessory anymore!
They'll be available soon!
Leave em in the case.. dust flows through the boxes.
Of course they come out with a gen 2 after I made a battery box to replace one of the ammo cans
Any timeline on the release of rifle racks for the new drawer system?
For the full size Systems, we should have them available in a couple months!
Any chance ever seeing a setup for the new Bronco?
Not in the works currently
How are the drawers on putting fire fighting gear, ie: bunker pants boots jackets helmet air pack etc?
Works great! Not quite tall enough for upright turnout gear, however!
I live in Beaverdam Wi do you have a place that they install them.near me?
Sure do!
decked.com/pages/dealer-locator/search?q=Beaver+Dam%2C+WI+53916%2C+USA&lat=43.4577692&lng=-88.837329&country=US
Well i guess im ordering my 3rd decked system , question is, i use the current ammo cans to store my tire chains, will these plastic containers hold up?
I like the square boxes and the tie downs
Can you guys build a full crossbox like the current box but fits on top of the decked system, a low pro box? That would be useful for tire chains, shovels, boots etc, dirty stuff i dont like putting inside my drawers, also a table top accessory that fits on top of the drawer when open would be sweet.. 🤘
The Stash Bins will hold up with chains, sure! They're also replaceable, just in case!
Hmmm... can I fit four batteries in the corners and a mini redarc system
You can probably fit the mini series that are being made now.
Was waiting & hoping you guys would make a lighter one for overlanders. My RRT + rack weigh 250lbs & you can really feel that increase on a gladiator/Tacoma. No way I would add another 220lbs for plastic drawers when I still wheel the truck. We don’t need 2000lb storage on top of it.
Our midsize Systems are lighter than our Legacy by up to 40 lbs!
Sounds like this isn't for your needs, quit bitchin and move on.
In one of the other boxes I'm considering. There is foam to dampen the noise of tools shifting during the ride. I haven't seen any feature mentions on how quiet they are. Can anyone speak to this?
The foam is more to protect delicate items. (Firearms, camera gear etc.) Since the Drawer System is anchored to your bed, there shouldn't be any noise coming from the System itself.
Anyway to have a tie down attachment in the center?
Not in the current configuration of Drawer System
Will this system fit a Ram 2500 with Ram boxes?
Sure will!
Can a rifle case fit in the drawers. As in standing up on the side of a drawer not placed in drawer flat? What is the internal height measurement of the drawers I guess I’m asking.
Inner drawer height is about 8 inches!
New system looks nice. I can’t imagine a truck without my Decked System in it now.
Not sure which one will give out first, my truck or the original drawers… but these will be mine one day 😂
Well the answer was pretty quick for me.. the bottom of the drawers. Wheels broke through.
@@fasfgasdfagadsf that stinks… I’ve had mine for about 8 years now. I’ve been lucky with mine so far.
@@fasfgasdfagadsfyou probably installed it wrong dummy
This is great. Now the one I have is worth 1/4 the price I was asking. Thanks Decked.
Literally received my order today that I placed last week. And what do I get emailed to me when I come inside from completing pre-assembly? Notice that you've released the next gen system. Pretty messed up that there was zero notice/indication that you'd be releasing the new system soon when I placed my order LAST WEEK. What gives?😠
The more I watch, the more I feel that it was intentional deceit. This dude is selling me on really listening to the customer and presents a genuine care. Hey Mr. Randolph, I'd love to see you release a video explaining the strategy of letting us order the previous model just ONE WEEK ago without any indication that you were just days away from releasing the updated version. I can only imagine that as your order fullfilment folks saw these orders come in they either A. genuinely felt bad but were sworn to some company policy that prevented them from reaching out to customers to give them the option of waiting a week, or B. they sat back and laughed as they met the goals of clearing out legacy inventory to suckers.
Dude they have literally been shouting about this for like a month. All over their site, every email, everywhere.
@@trucktruckstrucks87 fair enough. I’d think they’d shout about it on the checkout page. In any event, it’s an easy enough solve: return what I have and buy the new one.
Does it go all the way to the end of the bed in long beds now?
We're working on 8' Systems next!
I ordered my system about 3 months ago. I would guess design on this was finalized by then and you sold me the old system knowing it was dated/obsolete the day I bought it. I would also guess that no upgrade path is available. Which leaves me sorry I bought this product to begin with. Buyers remorse and frustration bound.
You still hav3 great box, why you bitchin
Will the old cases fit into the new system?
Sure will!
working on my installation; one screw-up tag has a driver-side door on it for the UK and a passenger for the USA . Wasn't paying attention and wasted 30 min.
Oh no! We'll have to sort our install guide for INTL use! Thanks for the heads up!
😂😂 they took my idea as a customer regarding single pullout drawers a few days ago, and they came out with this new product but, still it wasn’t the design I described. With 3D print out is even better and lightweight.
Yeah, we fully redesigned from the ground up in a few days! 😂🍻
Sooo when are we gunna see something for the jeep wrangler community 😊
Will these fit a golf bag and clubs? Not a pro bag, just a sun mountain stand bag.
Standard midsize bags should fit!
1st world problems 😂
I have an 8 foot bed on a 2021. Ford Super Duty, will it fill up my whole bed? Or will there still be a gap in the front?
There's still a gap. However, we'll be working on some 8' bed solutions in the near future!
@Decked I will be ordering one anyway thanks for the reply. If nothing else you should include a box that would drop in and fill the gap
@@Mike-xr3ytI have a ccsb superturd and the gap at the tailgate end is perfect for military gas or water cans
@@Decked Still no long bed joy. You could call it the system for Real Trucks with Real Beds.
I wish the full size offered in a large single draw like midsize offering.
We hear you! However the single Drawer payload is only 1,000 lbs. Which is more fitting for a midsize rig, but not a full size!
@Decked that would be more than enough. Having one drawer the width of two would yield more internal volume I'd think
Can you remove just one drawer and the deck is structurally aound? I'm thinking skis.
Folks have done this with our Legacy Systems before!
do you ever have any sales?
We do not! Same price, 8 days of the week!
SUV mini drawers would be pretty cool, just saying. Like for a 4 runner😅
Does a golf bag fit in the drawer?
Depending on the bag, sure! Our drawers are 8.5" deep!
For the 3.0 use the tailgate as part of the support for the drawer, maybe a plate with channels for the wheels that works in conjunction with the system to allow you guys to extend the drawer all the way. It seems to me like a waste of potential support to make it flote over the tailgate
Lol its not ment to use. Its a glorified storage tote for your truck.
A sliding wheel assy.
I was hoping for an 8' box
Why don't you hinge the top end of the platform to be able to reach the 18 inches in the drawer. Have it flip up like a tonneau hard cover so that you can see the last 18 inches.
This would make weatherproofing difficult!
@Decked the stash bin covers are waterproof, right? Possibly do a similar concept over top of the area where the rear of drawers stop.
Wish it was deeper for groceries..and pink.
Make it with a gooseneck hook up.
Check out our Tool Box!
What is the depth of drawers?
About 8.5" of clearance
Can I bolt a 70Litre fridge slide to the top of it? Or will the top get catapulted into the sky with shards of broken plastic stabbing me in the face?
Using the D-Ring Tie Downs, sure. We don't recommend drilling into your System however. This will compromise the weatherproofing of your System
The old system has marked locations for the tie down rails, I used those points to screw down my fridge slide, I used the squishy RV sealant between the decked and the fridge mount, no problem with leaks for about 3 years now
Does the old boxes fit in this new system?
Asked the same thing on Facebook. They said old boxes fit in the new system, just a bit looser.
Yes, they will! New Cases will not fit in the Legacy System however
I loved it until I needed to haul stuff. Takes away the ability to utilize your bed like a truck. With square footage vs space decked system it don't balance out. Hands down great idea if using it as a work item in a work vehicle.
It’s really easy to remove and re install. I took mine out 4 times this summer helping the kids move and transporting a bumper to and from the powdercoater
I just one of my trailers.. easy
@@squishy8309 lol not as easy as using another vehicle. I bought a cell phone, but use my land line better. I bought a plane, but love to drive.... Lol
Selling the old style at a discount?
1339.99!
We haven’t fix the problem for older 8ft trucks keep waiting
It'll be in the works next!
Dude, until you make one for an '83 Dodge D150 ...the improvements aren't going to help me!
I can't be the only 1 Gen. Dodge owner out there who wants one of these...😔
I have a 1980 Jeep J10 pickup and found a used 2005 Chevy fullsize version and had to cut the edges to fit. Not a big deal. The left side upper piece failed (not due to cutting the edge and it leaked really bad into the left drawer. Removed that and just have the right side. No warranty because I am not the original owner. Will probably have to purchase another used one to fit the left side if I ever decide I need it.
Yeah, they're not helping guys like us...and that's the real answer to their advertisement question ...
"You wanna know what sucks?"@jimsterling1187
Our CargoGlide and Tool Box are compatible with OBS rigs!
Missed the chance to make the tool boxes stack like Milwaukee packout
They stack like Milwaukee, they don't have a three handed latch that holds them together but they are intended to work together in a more lego manner
Keep your eyes peeled for more shortly!
2gen dodge we don’t have a chance to rock one
I love how they pray on the consumer about safety and graciously add free bins but sell locks separately lmaooo
Most tailgates lock these days! Not everybody needs 'em!
Can you lock it? If not they gonna steal my tools there 😭😭😭
We've got locks, yes!
The packout gear is way to expensive.
well crapp i just got my system a couple of months ago fixed my my complaints now what %$#&^@%$
Shoot us an email! Service@DECKED.com
Too expensive for plastic. Not complaining about materials just wish a little bit easier on the wallet.
Only good for light suburban use. Not good for tools.
It’s a composite like a Glock and not cheap plastic like Tupperware. They’re great for tools. I’ve beat the crap out of my gen 1 system
@@brokenwrench404 absolutely.. a polymer like the handle of a glock without self respect. More like a Taurus. That can't hit a target. that breaks if used or cold. not a plastic.
Yeah, but it’s AMERICAN plastic:
Where they mount the ladders it cracks as soon as it gets cold out poor quality and horrible customer service
Worst customer service. Box came open, missing bolts, shipped upright and 4 days late past the tracking. 1 generic email reply per my 10. They won’t get any more business from me or anyone I know.
Hey there, we're not out to screw anybody over here! We're here to help. Sorry to hear about the troubles, but we'll be with you ASAP to assist further!
Way too high priced for this guy……..nice but not needed everday
Is it still overpriced and underbuilt?!
Our Systems have always been famously overbuilt!
Skip to 2:30 to start seeing what you actually came for.
Definitely should have given this guy a script, he repeated himself enough to be able to drop almost 20 seconds from the vodeo.
I live in New England, and trucks dont last up here like they do in the south. Is there any interchange between models, or am I going to be stuck with a $1600 drawer system that I can't reuse on a similar truck? I always buy Chevy 2500 trucks, standard bed.
Lmao pass
This guy is very irritating and arrogant and probably isn’t a great rep for your company.
🍻
