A lot of people gave Liverpool big criticism since that Chelsea game but I’ve got to say I’ve got to admire the resilience from them. Both games they’ve been put in a position where they should be losing but they’ve managed to hold on and look like the more dominant team in the end of those games.

We played really well in the first 20mins at the Bridge. Chelsea are a good side. They have good players at least! First game of season. Neither fully at it.
Would I take a point at the bridge? Yep.
      Missions accomplished.
      Defended well at times too.
Chelsea were favourites for the game aswell😂 all the bookmakers had Chelsea as favourites. Chelsea have never been favourites against Liverpool for years😂
Soon as I seen that I thought! Hang on a minute! Do they not know who we are? 😂 we done it in Munich, Milan, Amsterdam, Paris, Madrid, Porto, Lisbon, Dortmund, Leipzig, Salzburg, Istanbul, Rome and London.

What many people have overlooked was Endo's first full game in a Liverpool shirt. When Liverpool went down to ten men, Endo was smart. Draw the foul, Joelington started to make a few silly fouls, and the Toon army started to quiet down. He along with the other two midfielders, just killed the game in that first half. Go in 1-0 down and organise yourselves.

Interesting Neville's framing of Liverpool and Man u. According to Neville, United haven't done too badly given that they've got 6 points on the board and have 2 tough aways out the way (one they lost and another unplayed). No mention that Liverpool have actually played two tough aways, and 2 out of three games with 10 men, and have 7 points. Context is everything and Neville has managed to skew it to alleviate the pressure on United and deemphasize Liverpool's impressive form and resilience

If Trent is to play similarly, a mature midfielder will be required to learn to cover him. So that extra midfielder you mentioned would have to be okay with doing grunt work. In my opinion.
Injuries to one or two players always risks upsetting our season but that comes with the territory of not being owned by a petrostate.
City and Arsenal will probably be top four. So we have to compete with Newcastle, Tottenham and maybe Chelsea. Very doable.

Maybe it's sensible considering Salah can't go on forever. Don't want him to leave us in this window, though, but want very good money for him and that gets less as contract enters final 2 years.
