    Greetings from Kern County, CA.
Now that you’ve sold the Talon and several months have passed, what we’re your final impressions on the megabytes?
I’m in a ‘21 pro xp ultimate still bone stock. Want to start modifying it and tires seem to be the first step.
Thanks for the nice content, fellas. 🍻

    Questions
    1-how many plies
    2-DOT approved?
    3-manufactured in what country?
    Thank you for sharing

      Should be fun!
8 ply, NOT DOT approved, not sure on manufacturing country. -Joe

Since the Megabites are built from the same carcass as the Terrabite, how do the the Megabites handle compared to the Terrabites on hard pack? Any louder? I'd be putting them on a Pioneer 700. I really like the Terrabite design but I'm afraid they won't do so well when we ride in snow here in PA.

They are louder on asphalt, didn’t notice on dirt roads. Went on another ride this weekend and more impressed now. -Joe

@@DerangedOffRoad Thanks for the reply. I'm assuming they would probably ride better then the factory v tread pattern on my Pioneer. Thanks!!

      Did you have to do any clutch work when you went to a 32”. I have a 1000xp with stock 29 x 14 x 9 fronts and 29 x 14 x 11 rear bighorn 2.0’s. If I went to a Tusk Teton Beadlock and 32 x 14 x 10 I’m afraid I’ll have to make clutch mods.

How many miles you ended up putting in your old Tusk Terrabite tires ?
What did you think of them

    • @DerangedOffRoad
      @DerangedOffRoad  3 ปีที่แล้ว

1500+ solid all around tire. Doesn’t clean out snow or mud real well but that’s a non issue for me. No complaints regarding the terrabites. -Joe

  • @outdoorzone

Carnivores are a squared off tire, the mega bite is a rounded tire! I think the rounded do better!

  • @LvDirtJunky

X pattern rotation will keep the edges of the tread sharp . Rotate them now . Each time you notice the edge being eaten away rotate them .

My Roxxzilla tires are much better in the rocks now that the leading edges are completely rounded off.
