Both informative, and crucially keeps things simple.

Thank you for this so much really. Material and shader tutorials like these are rare we need more tutorials on complex materials like this. and your pacing is A1 looking forward to more from you.

Appreciate it friend! I am in love with this effect, I want to put it all over my game (must refrain..) I was close to understanding it, but your effort just really pushed me in the right direction!

great tutorial. I was looking up a lot of other graphs before I stumbled upon this video and they were all very complex and too heavy for my purpose. This is great because it really gives the illusion of iridescence while staying lightweight.

    Nice :)
I did a similar thing without using textures. I used the pixel normal vector in combination with the camera vector. Then i combined two shited copies of that to get the YMC colors o the RGBs from the pixel normal. When you let the camera vector also drive a panner you can even create some kind of subsurface or coating effect.

    Really good Tutorial! Thanks
I'm trying to do a Rainbow, but my skills in unreal are limited.. Don't know if it should be made of particles and or iridescent at all. Would be sweet if you could make a tutorial for a rainbow :)
