Beautiful painting - love it - and made with several exciting effects I look forward to experiment with. Btw: the background music is very nice. Is it you and your wife who play some of these songs? In that case what are the names of the songs - and where can they be found?
      Other questions:
      1. You rated Qor 8 out or 10. Which brand(s) would you give 10?
      2. Why is a rigger better to paint fine details than a very small brush?
      3. How do you store your paintings that you don't frame and put up on the wall?
      4. Do you protect your paintings with varnish / fixative?
      5. Which are your favorite paper and brushes?

Being from New England myself I enjoyed growing up seeing/crossing several old covered bridges. Some are fully functional, while others are merely preserved as historical landmarks. So, as subject matter, this was a treat for me and another wonderful demo of how to go about things. Enjoyed it very much!

Wow! This one is complicated but am going to give it a go. We have a covered bridge just 8 miles from our house in Northern California. It’s the Bridgeport Covered Bridge in the South Yuba River State Park. A multi-year renovation is almost complete. It’s quite unusual as the sides are covered with peek holes down to the river. It’s the longest single-span covered bridge in the world and was built in 1862.

I really like the painting. I think if I follow you very meticulously, I can do this one. I was wondering, however, if you might include in a lesson how you decide what to paint first and how you make decisions about where shadows go or why you use a variety of greens. Sometimes it looks random, but then when you are finished, it all comes together. I can't seem to apply it to my own paintings, though and need more about your decision making process. Thanks!
