Bonjour Paul. C'est long 15 jours sans vidéo. 😔. Merci pour cette promenade en vélo et cette belle aquarelle à faire ce week-end. 🤗🖌🎨
Merci Florence!

Grazie Gemma!
G'day Paul 🇦🇺😜
I just had to tell you how much I love your work. You are one of my favourite artists.
You have inspired me, and thank you so much for that. Love watching the videos, awesome art and humour.
Cheers from Glenda, 👋🏻
D'day to you too Glenda and thanks for watching!
The way you showed the actual paint colors is helpful to me to be able to match colors (or get close). Thanks!
Love your humour and the fact that you are not one of those pretentious painters. You always pick beautiful subjects too. How about a canal boat coming through a bridge next time?
Great suggestion! - it's on the list!
My favourite part was the superb impression of the small wooden tower atop the end of the church. I feel that the accuracy of the drawing was crucial here.
Your right Robert - the perspective is vital!
Thanks again Paul! Can’t wait to give this a go!
Have fun!
Oh to be in England now that autumn's there. Greetings from an English admirer in Melbourne. Keep up the great work!
Awesome! Thank you!
Another masterpiece. Cheers!
Glad you enjoy it!
Worcestershire is a lovely county, I fortunately live in Herefordshire which is equally a beautiful county 😄.
I'm in the process of trying to learn watercolours, not very well at the moment but I'm sticking with it!
Sounds great! - just lots of practice!
Brilliant,as always Paul.
Cheers Beryl!
Lovely church painting. You always make me smile 😊
Great to hear!
Another fabulous video. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awww...Paul! Love this video. My dear late mum-in-law.an her ancestors came from this area. We managed to take her all around those very same places before she passed away several years ago now. She never knew where she'd come from until I did her family history. She loved it and seeing today's tutorial has brought much happiness on many levels. Thank you 🙂
Hi Lesley - that's great to hear, so pleased you enjoyed it!
Love the colors in this painting, and for some strange reason, graveyards give me a feeling of peace. Condolences on the loss of your Queen; thanks again for taking the time to do these videos.
Thanks for that and I feel the same about graveyards!
Tanks for your teaching 🇨🇱👌
It's my pleasure
Loved the thatched cottage. Enjoyed the ride.
So glad!
@@ArtbyPaulClark Your painting turned out lovely. I favor British landscape and thatch roof housings. I watch Midsomer Murders because of the quaint houses, horse farms, country side, etc. that one gets a glimpse of. I am from the USA and we just don't have such beautiful atmospheric scenery as you Brits have.
Thank you for another enjoyable tutorial. I will be following you along as i paint this. Im a beginner. You boost my confidence. You are a very talented artist.
You are so welcome!
I'm loving following your channel, I just met it, I laugh at your adventures and I learn a lot watching you paint, and how beautiful your paintings are, congratulations!!
Thank you so much! - glad you enjoyed it Pietra!
Amazing!!! I realy like your vídeos! Thanks so much! I learned a lot... as always!
Happy to hear that!
Just what the doctor ordered! Beautiful scene and lovely to see your take on the wonderful doot at stow in the wold... on my bucket list to visit! Let me know when you're cycling through Suffolk... I'll.point you in the direction of good pubs and cake shops for me and margot 🤣
Wonderful! - wonderful - by coincidence the Suffolk Coast is a plan for next year!
It looks so easy when you do it! For starters, my splatter would've been all over the clouds and roof.
... mine does too!
Sherry here, Paul you always have the best time. When painting or on tour. That's the way it should be. Don't change a thing. Loved this painting.
Thanks Sherry - glad you enjoyed it!
Amazing tutorial, as always! Thank you. And what a lovely granulation up in those trees, who doesn't love French Ultramarine?!
So true ... one of my recent favourites!
THANK YOU!! Lovely, lovely, as always. I would like to go on a trip with four handsome men...to paint.
You should! lol! cheers J!
Another great tutorial and story to go along with it. Very entertaining and a lot to learn. I never thought that one day I would like to paint landscapes with all the buildings and churches standing around. But with your great way of teaching you convinced me that it's fun. Many thanks once more!
My heartfelt condolences on the death of the Queen.
Thanks Almut - always appreciated
Like every time, a great job. My splatters always are everywhere, I don´t learn it. And I am so sorry for the lost of your wonderful queen. She deserves absolutely my respect. She was a really great queen and also a great woman. God save the King. Greetings from Germany
Thank you! Cheers! - lovely comment!
I couldn't agree more with all these lovely comments about you and your tutorials. So, simply a BIG THANKS. Have a splendid day!
Thank you! You too Laura!
You make it look so easy
I always enjoy your vids.
I appreciate that!
I really enjoy your instructions!
Glad you like them!
Paul, my sincere condolences on the loss of your Queen. She was a grand lady and a blessing to many many people around the globe. Phil from Ohio
Thank you Phil - that's very kind of you!
Hi Paul, another great tutorial! I love seeing different places near where you live. And going along with you and your buddies on a bike ride. I'd like to "give this one a GO"🙂take care my friend and hello to Margot 🌻
Glad you enjoyed it Deborah!
Absolutely delightful! Thank you so much for allowing us to join you and your chaps on such a gorgeous journey(rain not withstanding) through your countryside. The painting is enriched with a story now and I’ll just bet you’ll be able to see it in all our recreations! Highest regard as always…
Thanks so much!
What a lovely little church. You and your buddies look like you had a great time, and keeping fit. What lovely little gems we have in this country, we just need to find them.
So true - thanks Rosemary!
Lovely as always!!
Thank you so much 😊
What a lovely variety of scenery to paint from your tour! Thanks for sharing your trip. So sorry for her majesty’s passing.
Thanks for watching Nancy!
very much enjoyed. love how you explain what colors you are using and or mixing together.
Thank you so much!
I forgot for a minute how wonderful you are! Thoroughly enjoyed this demo!
Glad you enjoyed it Patty!
Love your demo. Just stumbled your tutorial few days ago, I was looking for a good rock lesson, there you are, history happened, I been watching your basic tutorials all day yesterday, even watched the Q & A. I learned a lot. I finally understood the color theory, watched it couple of times. Love your sense of humor. You're AWESOME.
Cool, thanks! ... and welcome aboard Norma!
Thank you for making Wednesdays wonderful! I always learn something new and today it was about French Ultramarine. Bit by bit my knowledge is growing thanks to you! Loved seeing your biking tour and how cool is that to paint when on a biking tour! You are definitely an inspiration!
Many thanks Anna!
I think that my favouritest part is the wee salt splay on the blue in the bottom right shrub. Id like that part in a larger, humungous scale for my wall. I do, of course love the whole painting... but sometimes my eyesies are drawn to wee corners 😂
Lol - love that - thanks!
Gorgeous
Thanks Paul, I’m almost done painting this, and I have been talking to you the whole time! Lucky you can’t hear me!😂
Hi Pat - I heard very word!
Lovely,so quaint🤗
Thank you! 😊
As always you never disappoint me. I love watching you paint! Thanks Paul. I am thinking that Margo filmed all of you on your riding adventure!
Hi Trish - oh no - we all love our lady folk but, never allowed on the lads Leisurely Riding tours!
Great as always
Thank you! Cheers!
Paul, I never tire of watching you paint. I always learn so much. Painted two old door paintings yesterday inspired by watching your videos. I’ll snap the yew tree for for inspiration for another. Thanks for all your videos helping me learn and grow here in Michigan USA❤
That's good to hear Sharon!
Love your videos so much! I am so happy that I found your tutorials! I am only watching, it’s like a therapy for me, but I definitely will paint it too.
Great to hear - give it a go!
Hi what a lovely tutorial from Leisurely Riders. I really enjoyed tutorial and lovely scene of you and Margot ❤️❤️. It's always give happiness. I couldn't do any painting recently due to some personal issues and definitely planning to star soon. Thank you very much Paul and Margot.
You’re welcome Achini! 😊
I still have not incorporated salt into my paintings. Soon. As a California native, and I am pleased to hear that my pronunciation of Worcestershire is the same as yours. AND I cringe when I hear it pronounced any other way... weird pet peeve of mine, I suppose. I love watching you paint. Thanks for your always creative and well made videos.
That's great Tracy, thanks!
A wonderful video !!! I learned a lot!
Good to hear!
Thanks again Mr Clark for a good and lovely tutorial/movie. Always warm, with a bit of humor. I love your reverence for life and goodness in your paintings, as well as for us students.
In this very version, I notice "The" Queens portrait beside you, and I appreciate this very much, even as a swedish citizen.
I have loved your Queen any day due to her warmth and cleverness, as well as her decent humor. I cannot remember any mistake at all during her time, from very young years.
"Long to reign over us" is as written just for her, and may perhaps those words became fulfilled and should stay and end with her.
I watched mostly of the funeral, and felt tears coming many times, until I saw King Charles fighting, I burst eventually and cried good tears. I managed my mothers funeral a year ago, but this was just too much to fight. Crying cleans somewhat. I wish King Charles III every luck in the future, and indulge him a new anthem though the present is so overly associated to Elisabeth II.
Just some thoughts of mine. Long live the King, and the kingdom. At least in Sweden we miss you as a close partner in the European Union.
I think it is a splendid time to honor you islanders, by including worcestershire (a word don't meant to be pronounced by humans) sauce in tonights dinner somewhat. I happen to have a half bottle of that, eh seasoning, but not sure how to use it at best. It can make things better or worse, but at least it makes anything otherwise, and I could use it as a substitute of ketchup at fried eggs and potato/bacon harsh, without doing any stupid.
Often it spices up salad sauces, and others, and perhaps only God knows what it is in the bottle.
However. This is one reason why I love The Kingdom, and feels for the people of yours. If I were younger I would have tried specialities as haggis, and puddings of the strange, just for knowing, and perhaps loved most of them. We share the same love for our landscapes, and the ability to make jokes of anything, to make us feeling better.
So to anyone reading this:
Please receive my condolences for the late beloved Queen, and my personal love to yours.
Another one of your brilliant comments Bjorn - thanks for sharing and your lovely comments about the Queen. - all the best!
Excellent video Paul
Cheers Seema!
I have just discovered your channel when I am looking for videos talking about good quality brushes. I live here in France and I will definitely watch your videos where you were in France this summer(?). I have just started watercolor painting at age 44. Lol but it makes me so excited although I do not know if it is the right activity for me. I love the humour in all your videos. Keep it up!
Thanks for sharing!! - and a BIG welcome .... and we love France!
Many thanks Paul!! Great inspiration and beautiful memory!! 🥰🥰🥰

Thank you - as always for your time, talent and teaching techniques!! Thank you for taking us along the counrtyside on your bike tour!! Loved watching the process and how you include historical lore or facts for us to learn! I am sorry for the loss of your Queen. She was someone who truly lived to serve! I have the Portugal painting all drawn out and will get to this next!
Great to hear Janell - have fun!
One of your most beautiful paintings yet! And of course, explained clearly! Thank you Paul, you're the man!
Ahhhh, cheers Billy!
A great bike tour of the area and a beautiful church to paint! What more could you want…oh yeah…couple of beer stops!! Wonderful video and tutorial.🫶😉
Lol! - so true Brian!
You are so talented and the most entertaining painter! I look forward to every tutorial because I always learn and always laugh! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much Pauline! 😊
❤☀️Beautiful ! Love the vibrancy of the trees!!
Thank you! Cheers!
This turned out beautiful , the blue in the trees adds a bit of pop , love it ❤ thank you for the tutorial 😊
You’re welcome Monica 😊
This reminds me very much of the spirit of a church back home in Tennessee. It’s the last remaining vestige of the now-abandoned community where most of my ancestors settled after moving inland from the Carolinas in the early 19th century. I’ll definitely have a go at it when I find a good picture. Thanks a million for the tutorials and inspiration!
Great to hear - thanks Vince!
Thank you Paul. I too love this video so much from start to finishing with your wonderful painting. Absolutely fantastic 👌🙂
Thank you so much 😀
Thank 😊 you for sharing your touring with us... very beautiful scenery and loved Margot's send off! Prayers for your country and the Royal family. God bless you, a California Gramma ❤️
Thank you so much Ann!
Beautiful, always love watching you paint! ❤
Thank you so much 😀
peaceful moments for me when i watch your painting .Thank you Paul🌹
Thank you so much 😀
Fabulous!
Cheers!
Thanks for the tutorial
No problem!
Hi Paul, thanks for another fun tutorial that included a tour of the English countryside, and some factoids regarding the Druids and the Yew tree. We get a history lesson as well. And Worcestershire Sauce, which was a staple in our house growing up, and a staple in my house as well, now I learned that it originated in England.
My favorite part of this tutorial is how you provided such depth to the painting with the trees and bushes on the right side of the painting. Very nice.
It's so generous of you to provide sketches free of charge. Can you someday give us a little more in-depth tutorial on sketching? Only if possible.
Regards
Hi Elaine - thanks for your great comment and delighted you enjoyed the video: I do have a video looking at sketching in more detail: th-cam.com/video/YUFi67k5H2U/w-d-xo.html
@@ArtbyPaulClark Thank you, I will check this out. I am relatively new to your site and am still catching up on all your tutorials.
I love this video so much. I love how it started with you and Margot saying goodbye to each other in such a loving way before you drove off in your car. I love the beautiful scenes you showed. May her Majesty rest in peace. May she fly high with the angels and may perpetual light shine upon her. Thank also for this dynamic painting. The colors are bright and blending together perfecly. I will give this a go soon.
Lovely comment Jillian - thanks so much!
Great fun to watch! Wish youtube had a "love it" button 🙂 Thank you for sharing and for Margot's send off!
Thanks so much!
Such a lovely church, this one is a definite "go" for me. I also enjoyed the bike ride, the scenery is just beautiful. Thank you for letting us go with you.
My pleasure Adele.
As usual a wonderful painting to try! . But you were right about the
" spoilt for choice" , all the scenes you cycled through was beautiful and I really wanted to try all of the them . Thank you for a wonderful glimpse of nature .
Thank you! Cheers!
This video is so great! I'm working through your book and learning so much! You're an incredible teacher! 🎨
Wow, thank you Alana!
Good afternoon dear Paul! Glad to see you again on my favorite channel! Your lessons taught me a lot over the year, and I often use your tips and skills in drawing. Thank you dear Paul for all your hard work!I like and wish you further creative success and strength in such a difficult time to withstand this crisis! And let me once again express my sincere condolences on the death of Queen Elizabeth II! The Queen is a great historical figure!!!😔👑🇬🇧
That's very kind of you Adela - always appreciated.
@@ArtbyPaulClark Thank you dear Paul! You have always appreciated my comments and a true friend! I hope that the new king Charles 3rd will also be a worthy replacement and continue the work of his mother the great Queen! God bless Britain!!!🇬🇧👑🙏
Nice demo as always, Paul. Nice to see that photo of the queen in your studio. I watched the ceremonies and was emotionally moved. Thanks again for sharing your skills.
Glad you enjoyed it Tony!
