I honestly love these devices. I have a Miyoo Mini and I absolutely love just throwing this in my bag or in my pocket and when I am going anywhere it's pretty much with me. I personally cannot drive so I am a passenger princess like all the time and having this and my headphones so I can listen to my music and just play like Pokemon pinball it's perfect. I usually use the triggers for fast forward, rewind, and load save state and create a save state. Awesome review of this device and I like that it's a tiny bit bigger than the Miyoo mini. I love mine but sometimes it gets a little cramped if you play longer than 45 minutes but other than that I got no complaints 😃
L1, L2, R1,R2 are for ps1 games. Some snes and gba games also used an L and R button but obviously they only had one on each side. stock OS is nice, but you should use minUI and garlicOS for the best performance.
It’s funny because I play Gran Turismo here and wonder what could the triggers be for 😭😭 I use them to shift . They’re definitely good and I’ve been lazy and still using the stock OS

Latest button mapping overhaul even break ports. Something you dont want to encounter while you buy this thing TO PLAY some retrogames. unless for those who are more of tinkerer rather than truly retrogamer, indeed. Stock OS is perfect for instant game session with no hassle. Latest update even have options for scaling :)
I haven’t noticed the dpad issue but I don’t play fighting games but I do quite enjoy it can even use it with the msx and anbernic does make a smaller handheld with the same screen the miyoo mini uses as well
I'm ordering one tomorrow I've been waiting a few years to get into emulation. I wanted to wait till I got a pc and everything I would need to do it right and I'm finally there

Updates are just for who are looking for. Don’t really need if you happy with what you have. I have Myoo mini and never did. Just out the box and ready to play. If you looking for pocketable device, nice performance under PS1 I really recommend. If you want something to emulate NDS, Sega Saturn, N64 and PSP the Powkiddy X18 black has the best price on market. RGB20s has the same price as Myoo and RGXX and runs better then both
Good handheld, but I have chosen to go with the Miyoo Mini Plus. I think that the extra power is not useful without double thumbsticks and for what I want to play on the go (8, 16 and some PS1 games), the Miyoo is near to perfect because of the forme factor and built quality. But it was hard to make a choice. If it was not for the "plus" version of the Miyoo, I would then chose the Anbernic for sure.
I don’t feel like jumping through hoops for a Miyoo so I just got this. It’s all fine emulation now matter what you pick. And I have an analogue pocket too.

I own both Miyoo Mini Plus and RG35XX. RG has RTC which Miyoo Mini doesn’t. Total game changer if you love GameBoy Pokemon games

With my right dpad being so stick I can’t play fighting games it sucks mine came like that

I hear there's no sleep function or screen off funtion. It's either on or off.
There’s a sleep function but the console dies fast so it’s not something I leave overnight in sleep mode
