  • Hey guys, my name is Saikat G and in this video I am going to share my experience with you how I got my US Student Visa approved after being denied once. I am going to talk about the F-1 Visa law, eligibility requirements, what are the common mistakes that visa applicants make and how to overcome it. Also I am going address couple of myths which are very common among the visa applicants and what's the truth behind it.
So hang tight till the end and like & share the video if you find it helpful and informative. Good luck!

I got my F1 visa in my age of 46. First attempt successful. Officer asked me 4 questions in 50 sec. Done. Tips... (1) Be Confident (2) Proper Documents (3)A Good Financial back ground (4) Just answer the questions (For eg.. If officer asks, do you have any relatives in USA? You should Yes or No. That's enough. Some people will give answer if he or she has some relatives in USA like, Yes I have my uncle who is living in USA for 5 years doing the job in bank. He blah blah a lot. Officer doesn't have that time to listen those craps.. it may leads to refusal.

@@harinderdhillon2719 harinder the visa is purely decided one and only the officer who interviews you. I posted the basic requirements and the chances of getting visas provided if you are really a genuine guy to get it. As I said, the first important thing is don’t lie and the information what you provided are genuine with proper financial background. Please note don’t waste money by approaching any agencies in your country. The visa will be granted by the officer who interviews you not the agencies. The agencies mean they need money. @@harinderdhillon2719 TOEFL or IELTS is preliminary requirements. SAT OR GRE depends on what program you choose to study. As I said, if you have a good score in both toefl and gre, but your financial is not sufficient; I am not sure whether you are eligible but the final decision is from visa officer. Hello Sir. Thank you for this video. I got rejected the last 5th August at the US Consulate at Mumbai under 214(b) county ties. Now I’m planning to reapply again for my second time.
    Quick questions:
Please, what if I changed my previous course which was French program into Business Administration and management??
How can I answer this question “Why did you change your previous program into business administration?”
Is it good to reapply for the same Consulate in Mumbai?
My school provided scholarship and on campus work, Should mention it during my second interview?

    Hi,
I am reapplying 2 months after my first rejection (rejection under 214(b)). I believe that my visa was denied due to external nervousness, low confidence. I do not really change anything about my case to be honest ( i know, risky).
If i am asked by officer why exactly i reapply so soon and what changed about my situation, can i just tell that i suspect that the main reason for the last refusal was the fact i was nervous which might have undermined conviction of what i was saying and i was not asked for enough documents at that time to really show ties to my country (nothing but passport and I-20 was asked from me)? Can this kind of explanation for reapplication be convincing?

In my case there was no additional changes made, so the answer would have been - "What I personally felt went wrong first time is the fact I had all the relevant information with me, but somehow I could not put it up in order in front of the Officer that could clarify my intent or establish strong ties to my home country. So definitely I will try to address those things clearly this time and also I'm carrying some extra set of documents(father's trade license, property papers etc.) that would strengthen my claim if required".

They ask for a doc in one in a million cases , their policies are simple they don’t wanna look at docs until unless ur case is rare like for ex: u got scholarship from uni or gov / Xyz organisation then they look for the letter but in many cases by looking at I-20 info they are convinced n give u visa , or if even they get slightly doubtful even with full sponsorship people get their visa refused , at the end us visa is 99.99 luck the other remaining part is , ur profile 😂

      @burhankhanlakho5511 ปีที่แล้ว

Btw to answer ur exact question, the answer is no providing noc or even mentioning that u have left ur job or gotten study leave means rejection, like vo will be saying are you being that much confident that I will grant you visa if you show me your ties
😂 I say this because I myself work for the gov , and it’s not recommended and in my 3 interviews they didn’t even ask me about noc once

Can I tell the Visa Officer that I plan to apply for STEM Optional Practical Training (OPT) after completing my masters degree in mechanical engineering?
Can I let the Visa Officer know that if my future e-verified US employer offers to continue my employment, I will apply to USCIS to extend my OPT by further 2 years?
Can I tell the Visa Officer that I plan to apply for H1-B Visa to further my stay in the US if my employer is impressed with my work and is willing to sponsor my H1-B Visa for another 3 years?
Can I tell the Visa Officer that when my H1-B Visa will near its expiry date, I intend to submit my application for the Green Card Holder status?
Can I tell the Visa Officer that when I become eligible for US Citizenship, I will apply to become a naturalised US Citizen?

Backlogs are generally subjects in colleges that one couldn't pass in first attempt and had to re-appear for clearing. Not sure if you're referring to something else.

Bro my Program start date on i-20 was 8th August for my cs undergrad and my interview was on 10th August. Could this be the reason for my rejection? And also he asked me when did i graduate to which I answered “August 2020” which was actually not true as i didn’t remember it at that time. Later i checked it was actually july 2020. How do i fix this in my next interview. Please help

Since many requests have been received, I am hereby sharing the answers of the delta questions (questions might come in re-attempts) I prepared. Answers are specific to my case of 214B rejection (lack of strong ties to home country) & might differ from others, but can give a basic idea abt how to prepare-
      Q) Why have you re-applied?
      A) Because this Master's is very important for advancing my career here in my home country. I worked really hard for that, got good scores, applied to good universities & got admit from them. But unfortunately, my Visa was rejected last time under section 214B.
      Q) Why were you rejected last time?
      A) What I thought went wrong last time is that I had all the relevant information with me but somehow I couldn't put it up in order infront of the Visa officer that could clarify my intent or establish my strong ties to my home country. So definitely I'll try to address these things clearly this time.
      Q) What changes you have made to your application?
      A) As I mentioned, last time I couldn't put up all the relevant info to the officer, so I'll try to address my intent or strong ties clearly this time & am also carrying some extra documents with me that would strengthen my claim if asked (name a few documents like property papers, investments, parents' trade license etc whichever applicable or available).
      Hope this helps👍
