    Wonderful painting! Did anyone else notice the woman's "face" that appears outside the window in the source photo leaves? I know it is an optical illusion, but I can't stop seeing it.

    Eric, I could listen to you all day long. You have such a calmness about you! You teach in such a way that it makes me feel like I could actually attempt to try it myself with some modicum of success. Thank you so much for your valued guidance. Keep up the good work!

    That's an amazing valentines gift! I don't have an s/o but thank you for the demo, I'll definitely try to paint my friend since her birthday is coming up, and this will be a great guideline.
    Also, your wife is really beautiful!

    Your videos are so helpful they helped me a lot already! Thank you! I was wondering if you could make a tutorial about how to use a black and white reference photo and make a colored watercolor painting? I want to paint my grandparents (both passed away during the last year) as a gift to my mother but the picture I have is black and white and I don't know how to transfer it into a watercolor painting.

    Beautiful, Eric. Just enough detail for the viewer to fill in all the rest. I think it's time for you to paint portraits of your children; their proportions are different from adults and I would be most interested in seeing how you do their sketches. What was total real time for this painting? Even at normal speed you paint much faster than I can, how important is it to work fast?

    Hello Eric! Your TH-cam channel is helping so much! I recently try to paint a city scene, and I think that I did ok, however there is a lot of areas to improve... do you think that is it better to try it again, until I get satisfied, or is it better to let it go and move to another subject?!

    • @Cafewatercolor
      @Cafewatercolor  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it's really up to you =) But for city scenes, fundamental drawing/perspective is really important. =)

    • @brunog.campos3236
      @brunog.campos3236 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Cafewatercolor the problem is that I choose a complex subject, a cathedral with a lot of details... I think that I get lost and messed up with some areas... a lot of beginners mistakes 😅
