I remember thinking, oh, happiness has emerged. Clouds are lifting. The change in mood was palpable. I missed JD, but appreciated the lifting energy. [Didn't appreciate the 'dancey'-disco quality so much as it became more present. But I eventually came to accept and like it.] I originally loved the earliest NO, like these recordings. That in-between period was SO tasty.
Really love that photo of Gillian with the pink tint on it, great session too, I’m sure it would’ve been interesting to listen to this on the radio in early 81’ considering “Movement” wouldn’t be out until November that year

Is it really from 1981? Looks more like 82/83.
@@ajs41 i don't think the photo's from 1981
Great album part 1 & 2 I have these on tape. The last of Joy Division blending over to New Order.
Such an awakening after Ian's passing....straddling both worlds
Great Songs New Order best ever
Absolutely beautiful recording! Thanks for uploading!

Perfeito. Obrigado.

Thanks !! This is great!! Anyone know Who is singing Dreams?
It's Hooky singing.
So much continuity with Joy Division in their earlier, more guitar-driven and less techno work.
This fabulous recording sadly was not the tinny sound that came out on the LP Movement which sounded like it was recorded in a shoe box.
how cure they sound
But better
