Hi Pat! I've been out of town visiting a long-time friend since Tuesday. We got back yesterday, so I'm just now getting caught up on videos 😊 The birds are turning out so cute & oh my goodness-that Ruby Star Society fabric-how FUN!!! The doily/lace fabric is right up my alley!!! (along with a few others) Oh yeah, the candy corn block-I downloaded it as soon as I saw it! I can see them used is many different applications 😍

I just keep picturing a demented rabbit with its teeth bared. I love the colors of your blocks. When you do go to Hawaii, if you stay on Waikiki, be mindful of the beach that your hotel has. We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village years ago and the beach was gorgeous. But as we walked down the beach, it narrowed and became quite unpleasant. It could be different now but just be aware.

I was hoping that you would show how you cut the broom fabric on the diagonal. I also only have b/w striped fabric that is not on the bias. Oh well. Off to figure it out.
The candy corn block is the bomb! IMHO, however, the top and bottom portion disappears into the background. Love the BOO crew blocks also! Looks like a lot of fun!

I think the rabbits for Halloween might come from the children's book Bunnicula. It's a vampire bunny that sucks the juice from vegetables. It's a cute book.

You know rabbits are used by magicians to pull out of their hats. So, may be that's the connection the rabbit has with magic and halloween.

Maybe the rabbits are all about lucky rabbit’s feet.
There is a children's novel series entitled "Bunnicula" which is about a vampire bunny. I always read one of the stories during the fall season for my second graders.. Maybe that's why the artist included the bunnies.

I’m going to age myself but long ago ABC had Weekend Morning Specials. Ahhh! Memories! They would animate children’s books. Bunnicula was one. th-cam.com/video/RVqEjOP8C5c/w-d-xo.html. There is also a current children’s book called “Creepy Carrots” . My students loved hearing the Bunnicula novel and reading Creepy Carrots during October!!
