Your passion and excitement for your art and craft is contagious. I am not well all the time so I need much encouragement. I do not want to have to give up my hand stitching but may have to. I go to my quilting and stitching area for pain control and just be in the creative moment. The quality of my work is not great considering how long I have been doing it, but it gives me such pleasure that my health issues take a back seat for those couple of hours on the days I can make my body, especially my hands and arms work well enough to do cutting, piecing and appliqué by machine. I love your excitement and passion and it encourages me to keep trying. My friends and I keep each other going and having fun so we can all be more creative and a little healthier both physically and mentally. Have a good day and be well.

When you tiny oopsied and then put the correction on the screen, you used a big font, white letters outlined in black. That font is great, and easy to read. I appreciate how considerate you are to make it easy for my not-perfect eyesight.

You could make the cute little piece into a little “postage stamp” (back it with some fusible or raw edge appliqué it to a lighter colored fabric that you then cut around the edges with pinking shears, and then appliqué down to anything you want) I’m planning on doing this with cute scraps and making a throw pillow with it, as well as making a couple extras for post card inspired mug rugs

Hi Pat, The llama fabric is from collection called Hibiscus by Simple Simon and Company by Riley Blake. I have some of this fabric! When I saw the llamas I just had to get it. I haven't quite decided what to do with it. Thanks for the picture Janet!

Where to begin? I LOVE the new book. Going to put it on my wish list for sure. I think in 2023 I will do one project each month. So fun. I think you could use your cute scrap to make a postcard or a card. Last but not least, I never would have remembered Bunnicula but now that you mentioned it I do remember seeing those books. That explains the mystery of the Halloween bunny. LOL

I have started making12” (wide) wall hangings /mini quilts for my family and friends. I have Christmas and Fall, and have thought about making others by season, month, and holiday. This new book looks like it fits my theme, but I’m not sure they will fit the 12” width size. (Of course I could make them 12” wide and 12” plus in length.)
Do you have a collection of 12” wide (finished) blocks?
If we sign up for the talk on barn quilts will we be able to watch it later if aren't able that day?

I want to make the Letters to Santa but have never done cross stitch. There is no picture on the fabric you are sewing on. How do you know what colors you are to use and where to stitch?
