I'm autistic, but it is my superpower. small things count for me. I would drill out those rivets over the black background.. you get black anodized ones.... they are about $0.50 each in 100s though. My company used to build LEDs with rivets, We'd buy them by the 10 000s. I own more rivet guns than any one man should
I literally have this exact same 1436 Alumacraft Jon. This is an awesome video too… because it is almost exactly what I have envisioned over the last 5 months since I got it. Doing several things different… but nearly the same! Thank You. I shall now be coming back to watch this several times on a larger screen. lol
The videos are great and super helpful. I’m getting ready to do my tin boat mid year after our bass electric series finishes here in Australia and your clips have really helped me in how to go about it. Keep them coming!
@@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats thanks wasnt expecting a reply haha. I have a 12ft mirror craft I’m going to gut and build out. Won’t be using aluminum but wood for the build. Looking to have a similar setup electronics wise as this. Probably going to have to run two batteries for it though I don’t think I’d get away with just one but I just started researching everything. Good content thanks!
Well yeah, this guy wanted to spend about 1/4 of my normal material AND labor cost of what I usually build. So definitely a small budget for what I do here, but maybe large for the diy guy. I don't think 2k in materials is that bad in today's economy for quality parts.
Budget compared to what I normally build. I've done boats with 20K just in parts, so 2K is Budget in comparison. I set the premise at the beginning. Best materials, lowest budget. Customer wanted tube framing, aluminum decking and hydroturf. That alone what 1500. For what was spent and what he got, it's a hell of a boat. But if you want to see me build something out of pallet wood, street signs, and home depot outdoor rugs, I could do that as well. But thanks to that clown ya'll put in office it will still cost 1,000$ minimum.

So sick! Loved being apart of the build dude! Adub is the man!
Marley Man #1 rivet man 👊

Simple and clean. Turned out sick man. I really like that underneath open deck storage. Perfect for small cooler or backpack. Great idea!
Looks great Anthony. As usual you are a real Craftsman. Keep up the great work brother
Thanks, will do!
I need to learn to weld aluminum I hate riveting the frame
Will these foam blocks get messed up if you spill gas on them?
Thank you man! I remember commenting a while back about wanting to see videos like this and you delivered:)
What kind of paint did you use on that interior aluminum? Im taking on a project and have no clue what type of spray paint would be best to use
Great build, Anthony!
When are you going to take on a V-hull boat?
Man, I have no idea at this rate. I definitely have none in the upcoming project list.
Your videos always have the best content!
I appreciate that!
Hey Anthony! What welder are you using or if you could recommend an aluminium welder for me that would be awesome
How stable is this? I am a big dude 6’3 290 and I have this exact boat. It is fairly unstable for me especially if I stand up. Thanks.
Great work. Loved the video guys!! The price was reasonable too.
So was the $2142, including the labor? Thanks
No. I added wording in the video stating it was materials only because I saw I didn't mention that.
Hey AJ - how long or hot do you heat the aluminum before welding? Thanks
How much weight does that hold
Wonder how long the battery would last on a day in the water.
Divide the full throttle amp draw of trolling motor unit from the amp hour capacity of the battery.

what dark grey sealant did you use that turned out mint
It's Dynaflex. Search it. Available at Hone Depot/ Lowes. It's exterior sealant.
What would labor cost be for a build like this?
Looking good. What MIG welder do you have? Looks like a Titan from harbor freight.
Titanium Unlimited 200
Very cool 😎
Great video loved it what welder did u use on this build
Is it a 12 foot boat?
Looks great bro!
Loved it man
What is the purpose of using aluminum?
As opposed to another metal.
@@sawyerstone9632Light weight, strength relative to weight, and corrosion resistance.
Nice one🔥🔥🔥
What would a boat like this sell for??
Can you do a video on building one the cheapest way possible?
Yes iflike to do that one day! Probably not soon but I'd like to eventually try.
Series boat Good Job cuz 🎣✌️❤️
Thank cuz I appreciate it
Just found your channel. Pretty cool stuff.👍🏻
Welcome aboard!
@@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats Thanks bud.
"On a budget" rightttt great turn out tho!
Lowest budget boat I've ever done, lol
Damnation! You are bad azz. All I can say is wish I was a close neighbor 😂🇺🇸⚓️
Balling on a big budget

@@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats I understand. I wish I would have done the aluminum framing instead of wood. Seeing that alone made me think 💵💵💵
Wanna do another one?? Lmk
I'm good! lol. Not taking anymore projects. That guy waited/kept messaging me for 2 years.
Should rename her Miller Hiigh Life"
People have GOT to get hep to what this man is throwing down!!!
Budget build, but the materials for the build cost more than the price of the Jon boat .
Budget relative to the other builds he normally does.
Nothing budget about this build. The 1x2 aluminium alone is expensive as hell.
If I build another one, what pricepoint do you want me to come under?
Built on a budget? Only if you stole the aluminum 😬😬😬
No. Only if I stole the Hydroturf 🤪
Awesome work as usual. Love your videos. I appreciate you responding on instagram. Still chipping away at my 1560!
