Mine expanded perfectly within an hour and fit my "waterbed frame" perfectly and looks beautiful. I'm 68 inches, 160 lbs, and a side sleeper. Dreamcloud Premier looks like a good mattress. I prefer a medium feel. I’m mostly a side sleeper and I sleep hot due to fibromyalgia. This might be a good choice. Thanks for the review!
I just got this mattress in form of 2 twin XL for a split King. I am 6 ft 165 lbs. I absolutely love this mattress. I am switching from a Nectar memory foam mattress. This is a perfect medium firm and gives great support. Mattress feel and comfort is highly dependent on your personal preference.
If you are not a heavy person and would like to get something plush, this feels like a rock. I regretted buying it the first night, I'm 130lbs and have not had a good night's sleep in 10 days now. I was tempted to get the Premier Rest, but they will tell you it has the same firmness, except for the pillow top, which I can achieve with a topper and not pay the extra $400, but I refuse to have to use a topper on a $1600 bed. They refused to make an early return even after I begged them. So now I am stuck with it for 6 more days until I get my new bed, and will have to store the mattress the rest of the time. Praying that they make the return process easy.
I am a side sleeper, honestly I am really suffering with the Premier mattress and for some reason I feel its too firm for me. On the plus side I contacted the support and they sent me a topper free of charge to help me sleep a little bit better.
Im a side sleeper 185 lbs , just bought this mattress, you can go to sit and sleep and try before you buy. I tried about 10 different hybrids ranging up to 7k and the best plush feeling with out the sunk in feeling is the dream cloud premiere- medium firm. I did not have the bottoming out feeling and had good transition. most other brands were either too soft, or too firm. There is no such thing as a perfect mattress, I do admit , this does not have the best edge support, not the worst either, but who wants to sleep on the edge on a king size bed? the other thing the sides walls are a little wavy! I assume its because it has not decompressed all the way yet? anyway I will put a mattress but does not affect the sleeping quality. At a good price point, it a good standard for any type of sleeper bellow 250 lbs

Let me save you time: the matress is hard, it is hot to sleep in, and does not keep it's shape. We told the company we are unhappy with it, but they told us we have to give it 30 days. We are two weeks in and i don't think i can take it any longer.
I mean for the 300 bucks they place the gel in a different location or do they add more plush to the top. I think it’s just placement of gel strip. You can buy a mattress pad save yourself hundreds of dollars then.

So far its weird feel. It feels more firm then medium. I feel its better for heavier person. I am around 6'4 and 196lbs. And being a side sleeper i slept worse on my sides and back then my old mattress. The middle of it feels harder then the rest of the mattress. Im a edge sleeper or closer to the edge. They said my mattress looks defective. And are sending me another one. And possibly a topper if its too hard.
I just got one and on my 4 th. night with it, my issue is it has No edge support at all. I'm 300 lb. guy and the first 4 to 5 inches of the edge sags several inches down when getting into the bed. I have to kind of roll onto the bed and like wise getting out too due to the sagging issue, it's Not what I was hoping for, I looked at many reviews before buying this mattress only to fail me. My old mattress I could get in & out of the bed with zero problems..It had great edge support as well and to top if off it was very similar to the dream cloud. The old mattress was 15 years old and had developed small sagging spots where I sleep the most and started Hurting my back very badly. Trying to buy a mattress without sitting on it like you do when you go to a mattress store is not the same at all so I had to rely on reviews from others to help my decision making. I was honestly hoping it would be very much the same thing as my old mattress and sadly it isn't. I will give it a chance but don't see what it will matter being the edge support isn't there for me..
Maybe I got a bad mattress but my premier is very soft has absolutely no edge support whatsoever and after 3 days 2 edges are still not fully expanded. Very disappointing for a $2k mattress. Currently have a call out to dreamcloud. I think they’ll be getting this one back.
How does this mattress compare to the Brooklyn Bedding Titan luxe Mattress? I’m a taller heavier person and an ex college athlete. I want something soft and comfortable for when I sleep. Do I need to get a mattress topper?
I’ve been sleeping on the Dreamcloud Premiere for the past two weeks. Some things I observed, 1. The top European layer is a stitched white foam that forms bulges on the surface, it feels like sleeping on the cobblestone street of Europe.. 😂, they really need to do something, it’s very uncomfortable, this is the first thing I notice when i wake up in the morning, I will give it another 2 weeks, maybe I will get used to it, but definitely now I’m very aware of it, which makes it that much harder to forget. I wish the surface was flat. 2. A minor thing, the side of the mattress is covered with the navy blue material which looks great, expensive and luxurious on the web but in fact, when you touch it, it feels cheap and tiny. I’m afraid that in time it will develop runs like on pantyhose. I wish it was a solid material that would last long. 3. After 2 weeks the mattress is not fully decompressed, the far ends are lower than the middle section. I hope I will flatten out otherwise my feet and head are below my hips level. Hope this helps.
And just to add.. I bought the premiere, and i'm having issues with the mattress expanding. Did anyone else have these issues? Its been 3 weeks and the sides sag really bad. Got to say, after dropping $2,000 after taxes, Im extremely disappointed with this mattress. Lets see how good the return policy is..

They need to make a store where they have nectar line up, purple lineup , dream cloud , and Casper as well as the rest of bed in a box mattresses we can test out . I tried tempur pedic and hated it , I tried Casper and loved it , I tried nectar and it was good, I tried purple and bought one purple is the best ever mattress I have had . I tried a bamboo or latex bed and loved it even more . It was like jello almost . I sleep crazy on belly side back and all at once …

Caused me such excruciating pain I had to sleep in a chair for weeks until I could get a new mattress. Motion transfer is terrible I can feel evey twitch my dog makes. These reviews are a sham.. Watched a lot of unboxing videos. I told my wife how every box looks like it came from the taliban. They look so damaged I hoped ours didn’t come like that. Fed Ex just delivered it and it’s worse then the ones we’ve seen. Not opening it until the adjustable base arrives in a week. Hoping it’s not damaged. Looks like a bomb went off nearby.
Loveseat he thinks that's a bedroom,bed..and will not sleep on the toddler bed..his austism make it hard for him to understand but he can not help it and is beside me on that thing for along time now.

However, if you sleep primarily on your side, it might be a little too firm for you. The DreamCloud Premier Rest is better for combination sleepers who sleep on the side because it is a bit softer than the Original and Premier. My Dreamcloud premier doesn't have that separate stitched base layer. They also don't look like they have that layer on their website pics.

the Premier is definitely too firm for side sleepers, it's hard as a rock.
I think this mattress is the one I need being heavier . I also sleep on my back.

The loose way the material reacts to you touching it on the side of the mattress coils at 1:40 tells me this is not a quality product.
