Hey what would you recommend for strict side sleepers? I bought an Endy mattress and isn’t what I’ve expected for a side sleeper. Usually fall asleep on my side and can’t seem to get comfortable.. I don’t feel like my shoulders sink in nicely.. been about a week may give it longer but what would be my options.. my wife loves it though.
thanks, at the end of your review you mentioned that this mattress is not a number 1 pick for side sleepers. I am a side sleeper, which mattress would you recommend? Douglas? I believe it's a little bit software in comparison to Endy, is this correct? thx
I know this is an older video now at the time of writing, but it is VERY important to consider the support under the mattress (which is not mentioned in this video). Slats = softer feeling mattress. Boxspring = firmer feeling mattress. Never on the floor. Always use a mattress protector.
Hey I hope you get this message. I'm considering buying a king size endy hybrid mattress. I'm 6 ' 2 and 200lbs. I currently have a box spring that I was planning to put it on. How firm would you say the box spring makes the mattress? Really firm? Also would you recommend this to someone that just gets a sore back from work. Not actually injured just your regular sore back. Just trying to get everyone's opinion. I appreciate it.
Also has a very strong chemical smell almost like varnish. It being new and the material it is made of might disappear over time. If you are sensitive to smell just fyi.
Had the endy for 3 weeks now and not what I had hoped for. 170 lbs with mixed sleeping side and back , mostly back. This mattress is quite firm and not great for side sleeping. Lots of shoulder pressure. Also my lower back is usually sore in the morning. I have lower back issues anyways but this mattress isn't helping. Probably a little worse that my old mattress in that regard. On a positive note theres minimal off gasing, just a little on the first night. Edge support is better than I expected. Can sleep close to the edge. Gonna give it a few more weeks and c if it gets any better. If not I'll return it and maybe give the douglas a go.
I've had mine for 2 weeks, and i'm having the same experience as you. I'm a 150 lbs back and side sleeper, and my back starts to bother me after laying down for an hour or so. Sadly i haven't had one good sleep on this mattress.
Hey man just reading your comment now and I’m a 170 pound side sleep with back and shoulder stiffness from this mattress. Only less than a week now for me.. did it improve for you? Or did you find a more suitable mattress.
Long time side sleeper and I’ve transitioned into straight back sleeping now due to back problems. It’s doable. Problem with any mattress that’s going to provide side sleep comfort is it will most likely have little to no support for any other type of sleeping. I’m sorry but in my experience unless you use a pillow between your legs to help align the spine you’re probably always gonna have back/hip pain.
Hi and thank you for all of your reviews. I was wondering if you could give a review or some help choosing between the Endy and the Recore? I am having a hard time trying to choose. Any help would be appreciated.
Looking at either endy or douglas queen. I'm 6' 170 lbs and wife is 130 lbs. Both typically back sleepers with some side sleeping. At times I have a sore lower back. Which one would u recommend. Thanks!
Hi Logan, Thanks so much for all of these reviews! I'm in Canada and looking for a recommendation. I'm 5'6, 135 lbs, sleep alone, predominantly on my side and have a lot of hip pain and sometimes low back pain. I'm looking for relief for my hip, and a mattress that doesn't off gas (too much or too long) or overheat. My budget is $1000 - $1500. Ideally a bit of bounce and edge support would round off the perfect mattress. I'm looking at Douglas, Endy, Casper, Haven, and / or any others available to Canadians with a warranty, free shipping, and trial period. Which would you recommend? Any reply would be very much appreciated! Chloe
According to Endy, slats (like in this viedo) will make for a softer feeling mattress. A boxspring will make for a more firm mattress. The decision is up to you and your comfort. Also, NEVER on a floor.
I bought the Endy in August 2020. Biggest mistake. It was great at the beginning but it got worse over time. It sleeps hot and the mattress breaks down quite a bit overtime. I sleep alone so there is a MASSIVE Difference between my side and the unslept side. I'm of average build. If you are a stomach sleep or a hot sleeper avoid this mattress. It still smells after 18 months but it has diminished alot. It had an intense smell for about six months.
Unless the mattress you’re thinking about purchasing has 1000 coils it is absolute garbage, don’t buy it. Look into getting a custom mattresses. They’re not as expensive as you might think and they’re most certainly better than what’s on the market.
The worst purchase of my life, felt comfortable when looked at it, almost a year in and the strain on my neck is unbearable, going to throw this 1000$ matress out asap.

Why does the corners of the mattrass curl up when you are on it?
Have you had a chance to sleep on it in the summer? I heard it traps heat and you get to start sweating, etc. Thx

I just got few day ago , It’s so amazing! Thank You so much to my baby girl Linda ( Blue Mountain) LOVE IT SOOOOOOO MUCH! ENDY IS THE BEST 👍👍👍

In some of your videos I noticed that the layers have been separated, how did you do this?
Idk why but the cut to the clip at 2:23 made me laugh so hard 😂😂
Dead fishing it

How does the new Endy mattress compare to the old one? Was it an improvement?
I am a strict side sleeper. What is the best mattress for me? I find my shoulders are always sore in the morning currently so need a new one.
Check out the Douglas mattress

Where did you get your bed frame? It looks awesome
This is on a Zinus bed frame

im leaning towards douglas personally. they seem to be a more environmentally concious company.

Awesome review, thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Endy Casper or Douglas? What's the best?
Depends what you're looking for, Endy has a more medium feel to it while Douglas is a bit softer
I like Casper's
child support ROCKSTAR GAMING (47up) awesome, I like pizza!
Which one sleeps cooler: Recore or Endy?
I'd guess the Recore because of the latex.
Thank you, i only trust you for mattress review!!
Is it best to still use a box spring with this?
Up to you! Endy mattresses can be used on a slat bed frame, box spring, floor, pretty much any sturdy flat surface.
According to Endy, slats (like in this viedo) will make for a softer feeling mattress. A boxspring will make for a more firm mattress. The decision is up to you and your comfort. Also, NEVER on a floor.
OK they can throw in a 3 inch memory foam topper, They can work with you and do a custom bed summer bed for you a mattress I should say
Got one sitting on my front porch right now. Hopefully it’s worth it. Was $75 off or something.
Let us know what you think after you've slept on it for a month!
im looking at buying one, how is it?

I'm flattered
This guy is amazing
Thanks!

Endy mattress is very hard and not good for side sleepers. I threw mine out

it's not a mattress, it's colored styrofoam, an exorbitant price? Styrofoam, after 1 year, it will be 3 inches thick only.
What's a mattress then
I’ve had mine for over 5 years and it’s good as new. Enjoy your bed of Nails Nogata.
Sleeping on styrofoam seems uncomfortable
This is literally the worst thing I have ever slept on. I bet you homeless people wouldn't even like it.
Sold! Definitely buying one. BTW Endy is the first Canadian company I've seen in years use white people in there advertisements. Weird.
How’s it holding up 1 year later
Yeah there aren't too many white people left in Canada.
Not a fan of the Endy Mattress, we wake up dehydrated. We will never buy another memory foam mattress.
What?
@@bourdie1979 What's on second!!
bourdie1979 😂
I love lamp
This guy posts the exact same thing in every video to do with Endy. Must be paid by Casper
Hey dude , most people use pillows. Your demonstration is incomplete. Pillows complete the comfort. Plus you sound a bit whining...🍺
