It took a long time to get this done, but I'm proud to finally have this up. Though the mashup idea came first, I did make the drawings specifically for this mashup. It came to the point that I had to include them in the video in some way (one of the reasons why this mashup took so long).
I haven't done a Black Knight Mega-Mashup since the Metal Gear Rising mashup 5 years ago. It's great to work on that soundtrack again, especially now since I was able to use Ableton Live to correct the vocal pitches.
I'll be working on a new project for 2021, but until I do, I need to take a quick rest. Thank you all for sticking by throughout this terrible year, & here's hoping for a brighter future!

I LOVE the blending between the original version of Merlina’s boss theme and the Crush 40 cover. Amazing!!
This was a brilliant remix, whilst I've never played NieR and I know nothing about the story I love the parallels with the Sonic stuff, especially that Metal Sonic clip. Your art is class and works well with the mashup! :) I've always liked your artwork and hopefully you'll use it more in future mashups. I really enjoyed the story aspect of this so well done and great work! :)

Also, I highly recommend playing NieR:Automata. You don’t need prior knowledge of the previous entries (that includes the Drakengard series as well) to enjoy this masterpiece of a game!

I'm surprised that you didn't make Cosmo 2B, considering what happens later with 9S.
That would've been pretty cool actually. I guess I went with Amy since she looks the part of 2B the most (the hair cut, sundress & boots).

And holy crap, this works so well!
Personally, I would've included Crisis City.
It fits with certain parts and almost anything else with a nice beat AND it adds a sense of despair and power.
And the final few seconds felt like they could've fit a small bit of slowed-down "Null Space" from Forces.
Ok, now I want a Sonic game focused on Amy, with similar mechanics to NieR.
I'd have called this "End With Me" but I guess that's alright too.
A Deftones x Sonic remix would be neat.

One of my favorites already. This sounds like it could be a final boss theme or something. I don't know anything about NieR, but I will say that it does go well with the S&TBK story. Very epic indeed.
