My main issue with Great league, is that having a little bit of everything, and playing against everybody that seems to have everything, too, it's really hard to choose which way to go. So, to make it interesting, I invested several million stardust the past few seasons into Ultra League.. You still get a lot of the same there, but not everybody is going to have every XL pokemon on the list. Sure, there is a lot of XL candy grinding, but after bringing a few into the 2400 range, there is a very satisfying and very tangible difference in my win ratio.
Hey Dan, would you mind showing the moves for the pokémon in this kind of videos? Sometimes with Pokémon like Staravia I don't know which ones to use, and I know they're shown at the beginning but sometimes I just gloss over them for time reasons and can't see them in the section where you show the pokémon
acho que muitos times terão leads agressivos contra talon pra forçar um switch, preciso analisar mais, mas estou mais inclinado a algo mais neutro no lead, como dunsparce
If I evolved my Dartrix during the Rowlet community day I’d have a rank 1 GL Decidueye that’s neutral to poison cause of ghost type and immune to normals
You know how I just nerfed ya boy Charizard ? Don't even think about using his weak ass we banning him 😂😂😂 niantic actiling like dunesparce or mandibuzz isn't Ganna controll this cup
@@TuftedDreamer lol yeah I know a lot of people dread Mandi but I love that dude. I had to build and power him up for a whole season to be able to use him in the GL, and man that guy won me a lot of close games.
@@TuftedDreamer For the Galar Cup I built the team Weezing Galarian as the lead, Mandi as the safe switch and Gastrodon as the other potential safe switch/closer with the charged moves Earth Power and Water Pulse since Body Slam sucks and it only bait dependent so I would often get an Earth Power on them since people often expected body slam instead, and that team crushed for well for me before the Galar Cup ended. Went on a 10 game winning streak a couple of days ago with it. For the Great League, I was running Feraligatr as the lead, Mandi as the safe switch and Dunsparce as there other safe switch/closer and that team would do well overall.

I feel like the meta will slowly shift into countering Dunsparce tbh
I’m lucky enough to have a gogoat and I can’t wait to wreak havoc with its brick break. Maybe I’ll even submit some games with it!
I got one from Kritet23 and it’s a beast I love using it
I'm about to be playing ELO limbo... How low can you go? Lack of dunsparce makes me feel like I'm just gonna get cooked in this cup.
First! Love the vids man keep it up you’ll blow up I know it
There are three mons with double kick that I’ll be trying. Girafirig, lopunny and dubwool
Sadly no tms to spare with the go rocket event to change clod + quag to the ideal movesets…wish me luck!
@19:26 tested all the equipment at home Dan? You were planning on bringing something IIRC. Camera or microphone or something?
Hey Dan thx for the suggestions, what do you think of: shadow Quag-Licky-Chesnaught?
Bibarel time to shine. Just gone 5-0 with it. Squishy, but if you keep shield advantage it has fun with ground and fire types.
Shadow flygon, shadow quag, jumpluff looks like it’ll feast in this meta. Debating shadow golurk as well

Just go to pvpoke
It's literally on the screen in this video ...
Vigoroth will still be around. Bet on it
Kinda weird to not see Vigoroth on the top of the meta list anymore since the nerf. Wonder how this meta will play out.
Great, the Dunsparce cup
Run triple flyer. I ran Flygon Noctowl Talonflame and went 18-7
I think ludicolo and heliolisk might be interesting
what do you guys think about talonflame, quag, swampert?

@@leonardoneto99talon is usually a closer
Lead with quag to draw out a grass mon
Just faced off against a team running Vigoroth. Try to convince me there's no such thing as an algorithm 😆

I tried. No good. Roll out hurts
I don't mind excluding charizard simply because he gets pushed so much. Whether he's good or not idc
Can use lopunny and dubwool with double nukes with talonflame
talonflame dunsparce clodsire sounds nice
Played 5 games. You forgot one. The goon is everywhere 😅
My time to try Breloom 👀👀👀
This looks hardly any different to the open great league this season, it will just be Dunsparce and diggersby back lines everywhere.
I feel like a normal type with a fighting type move will still be good😅 im gonna use vigo
just use furret or something
Do not use vigo lmao@@en20drayt87
welp, time to tank
Water Gun Quagsire on the lead
Enjoy some engagement.

Mandi isn’t eligible to play in the sunshine cup.
