I interpret the guardian angel telling you the errors you made during the ritual doesn't mean that you can make errors knowingly. So like you can forget to shower one of the days or use wrong ingredients due to incorrect translation and still carry out the ritual without knowing you messed up, and when the ritual is complete the guardian angel will tell you what you unknowingly messed up
Yeah, if my “guardian angel” showed up and let me know I had messed things up but it was ok, not to worry, now we could get down to summoning some demons… I would need to verify the identity of that “angel.”

The end result of a successful operation is you basically become a divine instrument, and Crowley got filtered because he just wanted to mess around instead.

There's a really great indy film called A DARK SONG about summoning one's guardian angel. If I recall correctly they do the Abremelin ritual--including the months of purification and the days/weeks of the ritual itself. The ending of the movie is astounding, very worth the view for anybody interested in ritual magic.

I used some of the early material in The Hermetic order of the Golden dawn. I did one of the exercises where you're supposed to wake up early in the morning, and look at the space around edge of the sun ( the blue area of the sky, not the corona of the sun) to capture some kind of waves transmitted from the astral plane. You're supposed to be there for a long time, I forget if it was 20 minutes or an hour. There's more to it obviously but that's the gist of what the exercise has you do. It's not something you do daily, it's just something to open your third eye. Anyways I ended up seeing some events of the future the next time I went to sleep. I saw 3 things come true in the following day. I don't know what the truth is, but I do genuinely believe not all occultism is fake. I think there is truly something to the spirit. I think there's a reason why every culture around the world believes in Ghosts.

My father grew up very poor. He wasn't afforded the privilege of attending school. He had to teach himself to read. He loved reading so he got himself a job in a bookstore. He told me he read many magic words. I believe that he mentioned green ,black and white magic. While watching this video, a lot of the things mentioned reminded me of what he used to say. About starting things off right about praying about staying clean. He told me that after reading all those books he had a hard time sleeping. He felt like he had opened the door to something that started to affect him. All this started back in the 30s. I wonder what books you're at. The only one I remember him mentioning was the book of saint soprano. I might have the name wrong but we said that was a very dark book. My father tried to do a lot good with what he knew. He would often pray for days before going to someone's house and praying to cleanse it. I always thought that he was quite superstitious and I never took it too. Seriously. Like my father and mother. I am a Christian. I do believe in God. But I just thought he was superstitious. It sounds like he learned a lot from those books.

I think the garden which may not be made unclean may be the subconscious imagination. You would start with visualising a beautiful garden and be able to hold and return to that vision as required. This would imply that the ritual is essentially a code in part rather than some physical objects. The copper basket, for instance, could refer to memory and the sepherer ruled by Venus. You mentioned 72 which is also the number of Tarot cards.
Bingo. This whole thing is done through the lense of Medieval and Christian viewpoints. It's not really about summoning anything but about mastering your own mind and consciousness. The "demons" are your own flawed personality traits and subconscious, carnal desires. I much prefer Eastern schools of thought and belief on subjects like this. The fact that to summon a guardian angel you need to basically devote your life to praising god and other religious stuff, and that by doing this you'll be able to "control the strongest demon of hell". I have this book (Abramelin The Mage) , and many more. Knowledge beyond intellect alone. For the part where it says, "What's a place that cannot be made unclean," he could be talking about a holy place or some sacred place. By unclean, it may not refer to the physical cleanliness of a specific place, but might mean something we cannot physically perceive as "clean" or "unclean."
Yeah he probably means "clean" as in the way the temple of Jerusalem was kept "clean" for example. Also that SL MacGregor Mathers translation is really bad and incomplete, he should have gone for the Georg Dehn translation 100%
So for example a river or lake would not do as the waters could be polluted and thus unclean, but the feature would still remain a river or lake, whereas a garden by definition has to be a place where living things flourish. Thus it is a concept that cannot be "made unclean" or it would transition into something else, a wasteland.
My mom who's Irish catholic with a foundnes of mysticism and her druid heritage used 2 tell us kids about our guardian angel. We could chose their name and sex. I think a reason why Crowley broke the operation was because Mathers was the translator of the book into the English and also his spiritual superior, so Crowley interpreted that more important than losing the progress of the ritual. He suffered not only financially problems later, but lost two of his very young daughters to an early death and several of his many female lovers and some disciples became alcoholics, went insane and suicided. It was also reported in the Golden Dawn, that owning a translation of the book in the bookshelf would already bring misery, bad luck and danger. Considering the flawed manuscript Mathers based his own translation on, it is no surprise that a corrupted grimoire, which stresses and demands flawless correctness as most important, has born corrupted results.

I wanted to point out a linguistic link that both demons and angels have that would have been evident to the Mage Abramelin, who was fluent in Aramaic - a tongue that incorporates elements of both the Hebrew and Greek languages. Both the word "demon" originating from the Greek tongue and the word "angel" originating from the Hebrew tongue both translate to mean "messenger". Since you point out how the Mage used linguistic and numerological references to Scriptural mysticism by means of the 10 florins given unto 72 beggars, it's possible that this linguistic bridge was a hidden undertone to the Mage's logos in developing his operation. This book has been on my list for years, have never gotten around to getting it though. I will have to get it now. I always find it funny that everyone's initial reference is Allister Crowley. Yet, no one mentions Daniel, who is the only person that completed the ritual in the bible. When the gods came and scattered the people at the tower, and the other priests fled in fear, only Daniel stayed. As to a "not" unclean place, I would say the human body. 1. It is a temple. 2. It is a vessel of the lord. 3. That which goes into your mouth does not defile you, only what comes out from it.
Your post reminded me of Hindu tantra, wherein the body is also said to be the highest of yantras. Yantra are typically though of as a sigil that is incanted with a mantra but it's literal meaning is akin to 'device, machine, engine', engine being a more modern application of the word...something that does work - outputs power to cause some change. The word being the basis of creation and representing the son (sigil, name) As mantra it would be an amplification. If it speaks in three's. (Multiple tones, increased like a chorus.) As to being evil, the presence would be threefold. The trinity. Spirit, Life, Death. It would aminate in several directions, layers, decibels, dimensions. Up to 72 apparently. If the spirit were inhabiting a vessel, the person would experience all of these entities. If you read further biblical texts two entities were attached to each of us at creation (the covering) Which we refer to unwittingly as guardian Angel's. In the bible it states which two patriarchs were invisibly attached to us. I just cant think of their names right now. I hope that kinda explains it.
I do need to let people know, the abaramelin edition he cites is a very common mistranslation from the early 1900s, if you do want to do this ritual be warned, it is one of the most serious choices in ones life to make and is not to be played at. There is a modern translation of it by ibis press you should get instead of the Mathers edition.
In the instance of Crowley, it is not coincidental that the temptation to stop the ritual occurred during the summoning of the demons. That is exactly how these things play out. He succumbed to failure. He was ultimately a weak man and a failure as a magician. He is a perplexing figure because he simultaneously produced such brilliant prose. A tragic figure, no doubt. All of these are lessons and learnings to be pondered.

It seems like your channel often gives me the opportunity to tell of my experiences to kind of "integrate" with the topic at hand by writing record breaking long comments!!😅 So anyway, I absolutely agree with Crowley's statements about the Abrahamelin, particularly the one where he states that the ritual has to be "tailored" on the person performing it. A few years ago, I wanna say seven but I'm not really sure, it could be five, I thoroughly researched the book to write an article/essay, which unfortunately was a complete flop as I wrote it in my mother tongue, Italian, notably limiting the audience, as my fb blog had very little following. One day I might translate in English all the work I did, as I believe, humbly speaking, there is some value there, but that's a different topic we don't need now. The reason I decided to write about it is because I actually performed a version of the ritual, my version, or was it the other way around? ..and at the time I had a lot to say about it (this I remember), so much so, that I even offered counseling to anyone wishing to try it themselves, and to no one's surprise only a couple of people went forward, but immediately abandoned the idea once they realized the amount of literature they actually needed to know and understand before even thinking to attempt such an operation, tailored or not. The reasons to "customize" the ritual are in my opinion mainly two, the first is that it was written a real long time ago, when popular customs were fundamentally diffrent, a point that Abraham makes himself by the way, so certain practices need changing for rather mundane practical reasons, our homes for example do not have hay or sand floors anymore, and candles, particularly those made of animal fat or bees wax, haven't been the main source of light for quite some time, and so on. Sadly this is not a permanent situation, I don't even know if it could be when living in a metropolitan area, as everyone else's "thread" is an actual obstacle to your path, reason for which one usually retires in remote areas of the planet when looking to unlock such state. It seems this would be more for proving yourself able to handle direct guidance from your Angel themself, rather than simply asking for protection from the corruptive forces. Doesn't seem like a mere prayer for help would keep these 12 greater demons away while you attempt to subdue them.

In 2006, I acquired Mather's translation of the 1975 edition from a thrift book store. The preparations alone are devastating and very difficult. I tried them myself but after a month, my spirits broke, abandoning the seek altogether. May God be with you for those who wanted to perform and complete it. For me, the most difficult is to stay " Spiritually" clean before your altar which requires not even months but years for some to complete. Intensive rolls of prayers and fasting is one of the key practices that is needed to tone your inner forces.

I tried this ritual while in Iraq around 2008. I don’t think I kept up with my end towards the 5/6 month ( I did quit eating meat during as well as abstaining from sex during the time ) and feel that prevented my wanted end. I can say that my entire company didn’t suffer any casualties during the time we were there, so I feel God was present and working through the prayers.

No such thing as blinds, it's horribly translated, some things were even omitted or in the case of Mathers translation, it's more than 2 languages before he got to translate it in English and he even omitted the things he didn't like or thought were black magic. Read Owen Davies Grimoires and other scholars research, past and present.
Blinds do exist. I've found at least one in Modern Magick by Donald Micheal Kraig. I thought it was a typo at first, but later in the book he revealed it was actually a deliberate blind, to make sure your paying attention.

Frederick Hockley, Sir Walter Scott, John Dee, Agrippa, Barrett and Paracelsus all contemporaries of a lot of the works also said clearly what Items were and why it was used. Many more researchers than what I've just listed. If you knew anything about Pre-Medieval, Medieval and Rennaisance manufacturing and fabrication you'd know why blood was used in inks. Hint, it wasn't just used in Grimoires or the magical tradition. Same goes for nearly all else mentioned. Another example is the creation of parchment in the Grimoirium Verum, a standard operation in creating vellum with added mystical sacrifices and timing. You have to know the culture, the era and life to really know what so many keep calling blinds are just literal recipes used in everyday life for inks and perfumigation etc. that ended up being phased out.
This is a true story as God is my witness.. I spent about 1-2 years dedicating as much time as I could to daily prayer and worship/bible reading to God/Jesus and basically working to gain purity in myself and get to know Jesus for real as I was tired with the fake stuff. Within that time so many weird and awesome things happened often.. Audible voices, 1 of which was clearly heard by someone else near by that shock them out their boots. Also often Gold dust would often appear all over me. My eyes would be open to seeing flashes of blue electricity fly across the room, as well as a type of "smoke" coming off of things I touched...When this started to happen, I ran to the washroom and washed my face, took some fresh air only to realize it had not changed. I can talk about much more that took place(like seeing a heavenly realm) but I wanted to mention that I was laying below on a double bunk bed in a room I shared, and an angel physically walked in my room, tapped me on my leg 3 times, and stood there for about a minute, then slowly walked out the room door. I was frozen but I managed to quickly jump out my bed. No one was in the apartment. You may not need to take as long to experience some of this stuff because the truth is that that is a simple glimpse of what we can be living in... but I want to tell you that Jesus made a bridge to God so that we can access these things like angels without having to do all this other stuff in the video(awesome vid btw haha, it does have key things in the way we should be living) but I now know of people who regularly speak with heavenly beings that have appeared to them :) I hope to live this way regularly one day to help the world!
You were raising your vibrations and that’s accessible by anyone who meditates or prays. The blue electricity and smoke was your third eye or sixth chakra activating and that is one of the first steps in seeing auras. I tried to train myself to see that and first thing that I saw was the blue electricity from my fingers, jumping across to my other hand, but I did it pursue it further. Out of all of the things I've watched in my life and thought I could do; this, this one specifically feels morally wrong and the first instance of actual demons trying to trick people into summoning them. The three days for tackling the demons surprised me. It seems very quick. 18 months to get the assistance of an angel doesn't surprise me. I'm guessing the whole thing must be so stringent to ensure the demons aren't too much of a handful. Formality, to ensure everything is done by the book. The usefulness of recipes. I had to improvise my way around the demons. That took an exceptionally long time, and was not very much fun at all.
@@MULATRAVTRUTHHUNTER It's more like it was done to me. I had an accident in the 90s. Of course, now I know that it was all intentional, except I wasn't in on the plan. I worked out how to adjust my perceptions, in order to adjust my inner emotions, and waken kundalini. It was at an early stage, and one has to increase the intensity of focus to an extreme level. It's a lot of effort at that stage though, so I was allowing my emotions to just drift about, and observing the adjustment to my perception. That was when I encountered an entity. It turned out that when I had first learned to do this, there was some kind of influence exerted on my life, to get me moved to a remote location where such an entity had been waiting for a fairly long time. It made me an offer. Naturally I said no. However, I am quite chatty, so I told it why I would only have said no, and it judged that to mean that had it offered something else, then I'd have said yes, so it formed a counter offer, based upon what it considered to be the new term I had proposed. I was blatantly tricked unfairly. Anyway, after I had successfully raised my kundalini, a few months later, I started to wonder what I should do with my time, not realising that it was basically guiding my life at that point. So we travelled, I overexercised, then I overeducated myself. I had a lot of downfalls and disasters to fight against, whilst continuing to learn more and more. During the last 20 years, there were a number of times I noticed demons. Had an exorcism one time. I met some strange people. Saw a lot of rather odd stuff, but it was generally of little interest to me, because I am primarily a man of God, and I also do not like to make judgements on anomalies, until I have had sufficient evidence to know what I am talking about. 2019 came, and stuff got weird around June. Then 2020 came and stuff got really weird. February 12th, the entity kicked things off in earnest. Started pushing me. Months of horror and agony. First couple of weeks it was like my mind was on fire. Then I got pushed heavily into learning as much as possible about what was going on. I was directed to a lot of esoteric sources, and for 5 months, I had a horrifically miserable time. Physical pain beyond anything I could ever have imagined. It would just stop at a certain point because the body would simply cease to recognise it, as it was futile, there was no escape. Then it would stop until my sensitivity had returned, before it would start again. I begged to be allowed to die, and considered the ethical thing to do would be to destroy the universe, so that this could never happen to anyone ever again. The emotional pain was worse than the physical pain. I met a lot of odd people. After 5 months, I lost almost everything I owned, and my circumstances were influenced to place me in proximity with this guy who would constantly be trying to push the precise direction of my journey. He was directly controlled by the entity that had possessed me. He would call me the burning man, and he told me mid June 2020 that I was to die. That is what was being aimed for. A point of transition. Past which, the old self was dead. A new self born, symbolically three days later, on the occultation of Venus, but the new self without any desires or fears that could override, my determination to succeed. Months of recovery after that, as I progressed to a place of greater peace. Having hit that place of Death, I reached February again. I got frustrated at my inability to communicate with people. There had been a few events to the end of 2020, traditional grail quest, journey into Hades, a couple of other things, but basically in Hades, I'd liberated a soul. In February, I felt that what was wrong was that I had stolen it. So I offered to pay for it. What followed was the most painful couple of nights that I have ever experienced. I couldn't last a third night. However, that was when the entity pointed out that we had been following the alchemist's path, in the Rosarium Philosophorum, and that my offer had been the sacrifice that precedes the coronation of nature. She told me then that her name was Lacey, and she was a "Good Fairy". I take that with a pinch of scepticism, after all I'd been put through, but she is seelie court, formerly unseelie court, and in essence, originally Lilith. I'm still recovering, after all this time, so what I went through was not as gentle as the Abramelin ritual. The power that burned me in 2020 was basically something like Asmodeus. It burned out everything lesser than Asmodeus, and then I had to try and take back control of what was left. The weird thing is that I consider a lot of what people believe to be relatively superstitious nonsense after having been through so much direct experience. My perspective is different. The demons for instance are actually immensely innocent, pure energies. It's just how they interact with the neuroses inside people. They tend to be frowned upon, but they are only trying to help. It's just that their help is not appreciated, on account of how severe it is. It's all faeries, and they are really rather lovely if you have faith, and respect. I am still a man of God, but I recognise that things are a lot more complicated than we may have realised, but also possibly simpler in some ways too. Everything just kind of works on love. That's the solution to all the issues.
One time I went to the woods to camp cuz my kings were ducked up and I could barely breath I thought I was gonna die soon and I needed help. So I went out in the woods and meditated and set up my tent. This was in Michigan at the north port airport there is a trail head right by a small mud lake and trails. While I was sleeping I barely slept but I was “awoken” to a very bright light outside my tent. And coyotes all around. I could hear them yipping and like right next to my tent. There was this pulsating whomp whomp whomp vibration that was slowly permeating my whole being. I was in ecstacy just witnessing the sensation and for a second I thought to step outside the tent but I just laid there and eventually it subsided. To this day it is one of the most profound magical things that has occurred in my life. After that I didn’t feel super much better but things did get better I figured out later my heater core was leaking in my car and that was the major cause of my lung issues. I am from Philippines and i can confirm that this Grimmoires texts are true. our native land is from Visayas and this kinds of summoning angels spirits demons are very common. Personally, I believe intention is super important when crafting or conjuring. Also, I believe the more difficult the endeavor, the more energy and steps and items involved, the more precise and specific you may need to be. Like so many things, it depends.

Can I speculate that maybe this whole ritual is actually just disengaging from whatever initial desire would drive one to commit their life to this pursuit (through 18 months of recommitting to god/disconnecting from physical/becoming a monk)…and taking control of one’s internal ‘demons’ that initially pushed them to seek power? The ‘guardian angel’ being your center/true self/aligned consciousness?

I spent some time deep in the book " the book of Sacred magic by Abramelin the mage". It opened doorways. I saw things I'd never seen. I'd advise only the strong of spirit to seek out this book. It is more than just a book.

I interpret the guardian angel telling you the errors you made during the ritual doesn't mean that you can make errors knowingly. So like you can forget to shower one of the days or use wrong ingredients due to incorrect translation and still carry out the ritual without knowing you messed up, and when the ritual is complete the guardian angel will tell you what you unknowingly messed up

I used some of the early material in The Hermetic order of the Golden dawn. I did one of the exercises where you're supposed to wake up early in the morning, and look at the space around edge of the sun ( the blue area of the sky, not the corona of the sun) to capture some kind of waves transmitted from the astral plane.
You're supposed to be there for a long time, I forget if it was 20 minutes or an hour.
There's more to it obviously but that's the gist of what the exercise has you do. It's not something you do daily, it's just something to open your third eye.
Anyways I ended up seeing some events of the future the next time I went to sleep. I saw 3 things come true in the following day.

My father grew up very poor. He wasn't afforded the privilege of attending school. He had to teach himself to read. He loved reading so he got himself a job in a bookstore. He told me he read many magic words. I believe that he mentioned green ,black and white magic. While watching this video, a lot of the things mentioned reminded me of what he used to say. About starting things off right about praying about staying clean. He told me that after reading all those books he had a hard time sleeping. He felt like he had opened the door to something that started to affect him. All this started back in the 30s. I wonder what books you're at. The only one I remember him mentioning was the book of saint soprano. I might have the name wrong but we said that was a very dark book. My father tried to do a lot good with what he knew. He would often pray for days before going to someone's house and praying to cleanse it. I always thought that he was quite superstitious and I never took it too. Seriously. Like my father and mother. I am a Christian. I do believe in God. But I just thought he was superstitious. It sounds like he learned a lot from those books.

I think the garden which may not be made unclean may be the subconscious imagination. You would start with visualising a beautiful garden and be able to hold and return to that vision as required. This would imply that the ritual is essentially a code in part rather than some physical objects. The copper basket, for instance, could refer to memory and the sepherer ruled by Venus. You mentioned 72 which is also the number of Tarot cards.
Bingo. This whole thing is done through the lense of Medieval and Christian viewpoints. It's not really about summoning anything but about mastering your own mind and consciousness. The "demons" are your own flawed personality traits and subconscious, carnal desires. I much prefer Eastern schools of thought and belief on subjects like this. Buddhism and Shintoism are pretty interesting to me. Although I'm spiritual I'm not religious. The fact that to summon a guardian angel you need to basically devote your life to praising god and other religious stuff, and that by doing this you'll be able to "control the strongest demon of hell". I honestly thought this would be a lot more interesting and I was excited to see all the random and obscure stuff one would have to do for the operation. I have this book (Abramelin The Mage) , and many more. Knowledge beyond intellect alone. For the part where it says, "What's a place that cannot be made unclean," he could be talking about a holy place or some sacred place. By unclean, it may not refer to the physical cleanliness of a specific place, but might mean something we cannot physically perceive as "clean" or "unclean."
Yeah he probably means "clean" as in the way the temple of Jerusalem was kept "clean" for example. Also that SL MacGregor Mathers translation is really bad and incomplete, he should have gone for the Georg Dehn translation 100%

So for example a river or lake would not do as the waters could be polluted and thus unclean, but the feature would still remain a river or lake, whereas a garden by definition has to be a place where living things flourish. Thus it is a concept that cannot be "made unclean" or it would transition into something else, a wasteland.

I wanted to point out a linguistic link that both demons and angels have that would have been evident to the Mage Abramelin, who was fluent in Aramaic - a tongue that incorporates elements of both the Hebrew and Greek languages. Both the word "demon" originating from the Greek tongue and the word "angel" originating from the Hebrew tongue both translate to mean "messenger". Since you point out how the Mage used linguistic and numerological references to Scriptural mysticism by means of the 10 florins given unto 72 beggars, it's possible that this linguistic bridge was a hidden undertone to the Mage's logos in developing his operation.
I really loved this video. Grimoires and medieval occultism(/gnosticism - since much gnostic teachings are considered occult by the worldly Church) are fascinating and it would be incredible to see more of your analysis and interpretation of those kind of works.

This book has been on my list for years, have never gotten around to getting it though. I will have to get it now. I always find it funny that everyone's initial reference is Allister Crowley. Yet, no one mentions Daniel, who is the only person that completed the ritual in the bible. When the gods came and scattered the people at the tower, and the other priests fled in fear, only Daniel stayed.
As to a "not" unclean place, I would say the human body. 1. It is a temple. 2. It is a vessel of the lord. 3. That which goes into your mouth does not defile you, only what comes out from it.
Your post reminded me of Hindu tantra, wherein the body is also said to be the highest of yantras. Yantra are typically though of as a sigil that is incanted with a mantra but it's literal meaning is akin to 'device, machine, engine', engine being a more modern application of the word...something that does work - outputs power to cause some change. Indeed effigies are a symbolic body & certain types of magic incant spirits to surround & protect a body (from weapons&physical harm), as in the gongkrabaan/chaadtri (chaadtre?) of Indian legend.

The word being the basis of creation and representing the son (sigil, name) As mantra it would be an amplification. If it speaks in three's. (Multiple tones, increased like a chorus.)
As to being evil, the presence would be threefold. The trinity. Spirit, Life, Death. It would aminate in several directions, layers, decibels, dimensions. Up to 72 apparently. If the spirit were inhabiting a vessel, the person would experience all of these entities. If you read further biblical texts two entities were attached to each of us at creation (the covering) Which we refer to unwittingly as guardian Angel's. In the bible it states which two patriarchs were invisibly attached to us. I just cant think of their names right now.

I do need to let people know, the abaramelin edition he cites is a very common mistranslation from the early 1900s, if you do want to do this ritual be warned, it is one of the most serious choices in ones life to make and is not to be played at. There is a modern translation of it by ibis press you should get instead of the Mathers edition.
In the instance of Crowley, it is not coincidental that the temptation to stop the ritual occurred during the summoning of the demons. That is exactly how these things play out. He succumbed to failure. He was ultimately a weak man and a failure as a magician. He is a perplexing figure because he simultaneously produced such brilliant prose. A tragic figure, no doubt.
All of these are lessons and learnings to be pondered.

It seems like your channel often gives me the opportunity to tell of my experiences to kind of "integrate" with the topic at hand by writing record breaking long comments!!😅 So anyway, I absolutely agree with Crowley's statements about the Abrahamelin, particularly the one where he states that the ritual has to be "tailored" on the person performing it. A few years ago, I wanna say seven but I'm not really sure, it could be five, I thoroughly researched the book to write an article/essay, which unfortunately was a complete flop as I wrote it in my mother tongue, Italian, notably limiting the audience, as my fb blog had very little following. One day I might translate in English all the work I did, as I believe, humbly speaking, there is some value there, but that's a different topic we don't need now. The reason I decided to write about it is because I actually performed a version of the ritual, my version, or was it the other way around? ..and at the time I had a lot to say about it (this I remember), so much so, that I even offered counseling to anyone wishing to try it themselves, and to no one's surprise only a couple of people went forward, but immediately abandoned the idea once they realized the amount of literature they actually needed to know and understand before even thinking to attempt such an operation, tailored or not. The reasons to "customize" the ritual are in my opinion mainly two, the first is that it was written a real long time ago, when popular customs were fundamentally diffrent, a point that Abraham makes himself by the way, so certain practices need changing for rather mundane practical reasons, our homes for example do not have hay or sand floors anymore, and candles, particularly those made of animal fat or bees wax, haven't been the main source of light for quite some time, and so on. The other reason is that just like you've been suggesting, the book is incomplete, the Venexia editions book, which is the one most commonly found, I guarantee is missing a huge chunk of valuable information, but if it was purposely done to avoid it falling in the wrong hands, or if it was simply lost in time, I can't possibly know, but as they say, ingenuity is born from necessity, and since at the time my knowledge of the occult in general was really fresh, as I was actively studying it, as opposed to today where I'm a bit rusty being back to more material exploits, I decided to attempt it: what I can say about it is that it was really painful, as fasting, withdrawals of diffrent kind and isolation are parts that can't be avoided, where others can be sped up with the aid of psychotropic substances, an habit I have in common with Crowley and I'm not ashamed of, and garnishing the entire experience by paying respects to the various entities you're asking for help, If I remember correctly I was done after six, maybe seven months, after an absolutely memorable finale under an heavy dose of ketamine, an heroic dose as McKenna used to say (may he r.i.p.), where I no doubt spoke with a powerful being which to my eyes was made of pure light, and most definitely granted me some reward, as the following month was on a literal different level, as I reached what eastern philosophies call Nirvana, or illumination, what we should call the Christ within, as the gnostic taught, and so on, a state of consciousness which is best described by Jungian synchronicities, as when you're in tune with the universe every step you make falls exactly where it should, there are no red lights, unless the red light is what you need, so even in such case we could argue the light is actually green for all intents and purposes. Sadly this is not a permanent situation, I don't even know if it could be when living in a metropolitan area, as everyone else's "thread" is an actual obstacle to your path, reason for which one usually retires in remote areas of the planet when looking to unlock such state. I eventually reached "It" a couple more times using diffrent, substance driven, techniques, again, no shame in doing what works, until I sorta drifted away from what could be defined "urban asceticism", to go back to more material past times such as music and classic cars (easier on the mind if you get what I'm saying), but with the awareness that this material existence in Malkuth, is just a transitory phase, part of a much longer journey, but an incredibly important one nonetheless, since the outcome of every other step after life is directly related to our achievements during it, as the more karmic knots we unwind and the more spiritual awareness we gain, the easier and less painful the rest of the journey will be. In 2006, I acquired Mather's translation of the 1975 edition from a thrift book store. The preparations alone are devastating and very difficult. I tried them myself but after a month, my spirits broke, abandoning the seek altogether. May God be with you for those who wanted to perform and complete it. For me, the most difficult is to stay " Spiritually" clean before your altar which requires not even months but years for some to complete. Many are tempted to ask the other angels for help getting what they desire but trust this, the cost is always greater in the end than the gain.. If it's knowledge from experience, there are many accounts that could be read to satisfy that while getting to keep your soul and sanity, if it's Truth you want and closeness to GOD you want, all you will ever need is right with you now, your guardian angel is a helper and protector of that connection with the Divine.

I tried this ritual while in Iraq around 2008. I don’t think I kept up with my end towards the 5/6 month ( I did quit eating meat during as well as abstaining from sex during the time ) and feel that prevented my wanted end. I can say that my entire company didn’t suffer any casualties during the time we were there, so I feel God was present and working through the prayers.

Book one is one of the most important magical texts for any practising occultist to read, it has a lifetime of lessons in it alone. Great video, sad to see some of the comments on this video, however. The focus on Christian piety in the Abramelin ritual is paramount. There are no shortcuts, and there are repercussions from ignoring certain precepts. There are also certain things within the book that go directly against other parts of the book, so heed the warnings carefully because blinds are liberally used throughout.

No such thing as blinds, it's horribly translated, some things were even omitted or in the case of Mathers translation, it's more than 2 languages before he got to translate it in English and he even omitted the things he didn't like or thought were black magic. Read Owen Davies Grimoires and other scholars research, past and present.
Blinds do exist. I've found at least one in Modern Magick by Donald Micheal Kraig. I thought it was a typo at first, but later in the book he revealed it was actually a deliberate blind, to make sure your paying attention.

If you knew anything about Pre-Medieval, Medieval and Rennaisance manufacturing and fabrication you'd know why blood was used in inks. Hint, it wasn't just used in Grimoires or the magical tradition. Same goes for nearly all else mentioned. Another example is the creation of parchment in the Grimoirium Verum, a standard operation in creating vellum with added mystical sacrifices and timing.

This is a true story as God is my witness.. I spent about 1-2 years dedicating as much time as I could to daily prayer and worship/bible reading to God/Jesus and basically working to gain purity in myself and get to know Jesus for real as I was tired with the fake stuff. Within that time so many weird and awesome things happened often.. Audible voices, 1 of which was clearly heard by someone else near by that shock them out their boots. Also often Gold dust would often appear all over me. My eyes would be open to seeing flashes of blue electricity fly across the room, as well as a type of "smoke" coming off of things I touched...When this started to happen, I ran to the washroom and washed my face, took some fresh air only to realize it had not changed. I can talk about much more that took place(like seeing a heavenly realm) but I wanted to mention that I was laying below on a double bunk bed in a room I shared, and an angel physically walked in my room, tapped me on my leg 3 times, and stood there for about a minute, then slowly walked out the room door.
I was frozen but I managed to quickly jump out my bed. No one was in the apartment.
You may not need to take as long to experience some of this stuff because the truth is that that is a simple glimpse of what we can be living in... but I want to tell you that Jesus made a bridge to God so that we can access these things like angels without having to do all this other stuff in the video(awesome vid btw haha, it does have key things in the way we should be living) but I now know of people who regularly speak with heavenly beings that have appeared to them :) I hope to live this way regularly one day to help the world!
You were raising your vibrations and that’s accessible by anyone who meditates or prays. The blue electricity and smoke was your third eye or sixth chakra activating and that is one of the first steps in seeing auras. Out of all of the things I've watched in my life and thought I could do; this, this one specifically feels morally wrong and the first instance of actual demons trying to trick people into summoning them. I rarely believe in this sort of stuff but this definitely gave me bad juju vibes. But the potential outcome seems fantastical, exactly what a demon would try to offer me... The three days for tackling the demons surprised me. It seems very quick. 18 months to get the assistance of an angel doesn't surprise me. I'm guessing the whole thing must be so stringent to ensure the demons aren't too much of a handful. Formality, to ensure everything is done by the book. The usefulness of recipes. I had to improvise my way around the demons. That took an exceptionally long time, and was not very much fun at all.

@@MULATRAVTRUTHHUNTER It's more like it was done to me. I had an accident in the 90s. Of course, now I know that it was all intentional, except I wasn't in on the plan. I worked out how to adjust my perceptions, in order to adjust my inner emotions, and waken kundalini. It was at an early stage, and one has to increase the intensity of focus to an extreme level. It's a lot of effort at that stage though, so I was allowing my emotions to just drift about, and observing the adjustment to my perception. That was when I encountered an entity. It turned out that when I had first learned to do this, there was some kind of influence exerted on my life, to get me moved to a remote location where such an entity had been waiting for a fairly long time.
It made me an offer. Naturally I said no. However, I am quite chatty, so I told it why I would only have said no, and it judged that to mean that had it offered something else, then I'd have said yes, so it formed a counter offer, based upon what it considered to be the new term I had proposed. I was blatantly tricked unfairly. Anyway, after I had successfully raised my kundalini, a few months later, I started to wonder what I should do with my time, not realising that it was basically guiding my life at that point. So we travelled, I overexercised, then I overeducated myself. I had a lot of downfalls and disasters to fight against, whilst continuing to learn more and more.
During the last 20 years, there were a number of times I noticed demons. Had an exorcism one time. I met some strange people. Saw a lot of rather odd stuff, but it was generally of little interest to me, because I am primarily a man of God, and I also do not like to make judgements on anomalies, until I have had sufficient evidence to know what I am talking about.
2019 came, and stuff got weird around June. Then 2020 came and stuff got really weird. February 12th, the entity kicked things off in earnest. Started pushing me. Months of horror and agony. First couple of weeks it was like my mind was on fire. Then I got pushed heavily into learning as much as possible about what was going on. I was directed to a lot of esoteric sources, and for 5 months, I had a horrifically miserable time. Physical pain beyond anything I could ever have imagined. It would just stop at a certain point because the body would simply cease to recognise it, as it was futile, there was no escape. Then it would stop until my sensitivity had returned, before it would start again. I begged to be allowed to die, and considered the ethical thing to do would be to destroy the universe, so that this could never happen to anyone ever again. The emotional pain was worse than the physical pain.
I met a lot of odd people. After 5 months, I lost almost everything I owned, and my circumstances were influenced to place me in proximity with this guy who would constantly be trying to push the precise direction of my journey. He was directly controlled by the entity that had possessed me. He would call me the burning man, and he told me mid June 2020 that I was to die. That is what was being aimed for. A point of transition. Past which, the old self was dead. A new self born, symbolically three days later, on the occultation of Venus, but the new self without any desires or fears that could override, my determination to succeed.
Months of recovery after that, as I progressed to a place of greater peace. Having hit that place of Death, I reached February again. I got frustrated at my inability to communicate with people. There had been a few events to the end of 2020, traditional grail quest, journey into Hades, a couple of other things, but basically in Hades, I'd liberated a soul. In February, I felt that what was wrong was that I had stolen it. So I offered to pay for it. What followed was the most painful couple of nights that I have ever experienced. I couldn't last a third night. However, that was when the entity pointed out that we had been following the alchemist's path, in the Rosarium Philosophorum, and that my offer had been the sacrifice that precedes the coronation of nature. She told me then that her name was Lacey, and she was a "Good Fairy". I take that with a pinch of scepticism, after all I'd been put through, but she is seelie court, formerly unseelie court, and in essence, originally Lilith.
I'm still recovering, after all this time, so what I went through was not as gentle as the Abramelin ritual. The power that burned me in 2020 was basically something like Asmodeus. It burned out everything lesser than Asmodeus, and then I had to try and take back control of what was left. The weird thing is that I consider a lot of what people believe to be relatively superstitious nonsense after having been through so much direct experience. My perspective is different. The demons for instance are actually immensely innocent, pure energies. It's just how they interact with the neuroses inside people. They tend to be frowned upon, but they are only trying to help. It's just that their help is not appreciated, on account of how severe it is. It's all faeries, and they are really rather lovely if you have faith, and respect. I am still a man of God, but I recognise that things are a lot more complicated than we may have realised, but also possibly simpler in some ways too. Everything just kind of works on love. That's the solution to all the issues.
One time I went to the woods to camp cuz my kings were ducked up and I could barely breath I thought I was gonna die soon and I needed help. So I went out in the woods and meditated and set up my tent. This was in Michigan at the north port airport there is a trail head right by a small mud lake and trails. While I was sleeping I barely slept but I was “awoken” to a very bright light outside my tent. And coyotes all around. I could hear them yipping and like right next to my tent. There was this pulsating whomp whomp whomp vibration that was slowly permeating my whole being. I was in ecstacy just witnessing the sensation and for a second I thought to step outside the tent but I just laid there and eventually it subsided. To this day it is one of the most profound magical things that has occurred in my life. After that I didn’t feel super much better but things did get better I figured out later my heater core was leaking in my car and that was the major cause of my lung issues. I recommend looking into the life of Milareepa who is a prominent figure in Tibetan Buddhism, because he practiced a ritual very similar to the Abramelin operation of summoning demons to do his bidding before he repented. Oh he was also seen flying over Tibet

I am from Philippines and i can confirm that this Grimmoires texts are true. our native land is from Visayas and this kinds of summoning angels spirits demons are very common. Personally, I believe intention is super important when crafting or conjuring. Also, I believe the more difficult the endeavor, the more energy and steps and items involved, the more precise and specific you may need to be. Like so many things, it depends.

Can I speculate that maybe this whole ritual is actually just disengaging from whatever initial desire would drive one to commit their life to this pursuit (through 18 months of recommitting to god/disconnecting from physical/becoming a monk)…and taking control of one’s internal ‘demons’ that initially pushed them to seek power? The ‘guardian angel’ being your center/true self/aligned consciousness?
I thought so too at first but when you read more about it they mention specifically that this is not about a higher self but an actual independant being.
Though I think your right that unless you truly want the power to help people the dedication and commitment would change anyone with evil intent especially when the angel appears. I spent some time deep in the book " the book of Sacred magic by Abramelin the mage". It opened doorways. I saw things I'd never seen. I'd advise only the strong of spirit to seek out this book. It is more than just a book.
