I HAVE NO FEELINGS FOR ILLEGAL DRUG USERS.
I lived in the Vegas Tunnels for 2 years. It helps escape the heat in the summer and they provide warmth in the winter. Everyone down there gets high. Crack, meth, heroin, alcoholics. It barely rains in Vegas so there's only a couple days a year you get flooded out. You don't really feel sorry for yourself because your too busy surviving day to day. I still have dreams of being homeless. I think it's a form of PTSD.
I was homeless in New Orleans for a long time. Unfortunately there aren't any tunnels but whats worse is the police will beat and rob you and then file false charges on you or plant drugs on you. I was attacked three times by nopd so being homeless in New Orleans is very dangerous. I wish I had had a place to go like this.
"No one has any idea we are down here..." and the other scary thing is that some people do not yet know they will be living down there later in their lives.

These tunnels actually stay warmer in the winter and cool in the summer. As a kid my friends and I would go on runs through the tunnels in the middle of summer when it was 115 degrees out and closer to 75 in the tunnels. Lots of cool graffiti, bats, a few bugs. Never ran into any homeless people but we would only go for about 2 miles and end up popping out at some random place. In hindsight it is pretty dangerous but if you go on a clear day with no chance of rain then the mystery and adventure of the tunnels is very alluring.

Being a local and seeing this has me feelin clueless. I never woulda guessed ppl living deep in the drains because of flash flooding. But damn they are smart as hell, its better than burning up or freezing out in the public streets.
Stay clean brother. Much love
I've known of this 'world' for literally decades. Incredible what people can endure.
This is incredibly saddening! No one should have to live this reality so long it becomes comfortable. God be with them.
Dude people been living in the sewer systems of new York for 35 yrs.
LONGER,AND THAT'S WHERE THIS VIDIO WAS TAKIN..
There’s s documentary about the subway homeless in New York. Dark days, brilliant wee show
@@busterbiloxi3833 Yes, these people have redeveloped eyes and ultrasound echolocation like bats. Scientists tell that they are no longer sapiens since they cannot reproduce with humans anymore. Strong relations exists to the Vatikan, btw. (good stuff for a B horror movie)
I will be spending my retiring years in my truck camper. It's the only option I can afford and I'm working towards that goal now. This could easily be me down underground. I'm trying to avoid homelessness in my retirement years.
I'm gonna flush some money down the drain, hope it helps guys (-:
they are flood drains not sewage. so it wont get to anyone.
Christopher Morrissey lol
Those poor people...it’s heartbreaking, and so dangerous! Aside from the hellish conditions, what if it rains? How is this possible in the wealthiest nation on earth?
"Thanks for the F Shack"

you obviously dont live around spiders
DjD It's Okay! they love to eat the Rats!
Richest country in the world, and thousands live like this here.
TWO ISSUES AT MIND. TRILLIONS OVER TIME GIVEN OUT TO FOREIGN AID, AND WE SHOULD BE TAKING CARE OF OUR OWN. GIVING THOSE DECENT HOMELESS - ( I AM ONE OF THOSE HOMELESS AND NO DRUG USE ) THE FOUNDATION TO BEING A CONTRIBUTOR TO SOCIETY. FOREIGN AID SHOULD ONLY COME FROM THE INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND. 2ND, IT'S A DRUG USE ISSUE. BEING A DRUG ADDICT IS A CHOICE. IT SUPPORTS EPIC UGLINESS STEMMING FROM DRUG CARTELS.
Mad respect Paul, Keep fighting the good fight!
I feel like such a spoiled brad compared to the living conditions of these people i hope someday they will reach their dreams.
First time I've ever heard that people living in the tunnels in vegas... Hoping they find some peace of mind, and a home soon!

I feel u Paul it's like 1 day it just grows outta you I did heroin 14 years and lived on streets of BALTIMORE 7YRS I THOUGHT I WOULD DIE IN A VACANT......THANK GOD IN CLEAN 1 DAY ATA TIME
Congratulations on getting clean!
These people would be valuable in a post apocalyptic world.
Emotional and powerful.
The direction the country is heading makes me want to either go as deep underground or as far into the woods as I can. Sick of it all.
Damn, Demolition man came true.
marine6889 I was waiting to see Sylvester Stallone eating a rat Burger haha
Can I treat you to a lovely dinner at, Taco Bell? Lol
Demolition Man is 100% came true
Next is Idiocracy
This is where I belong.

Jeremy Diaz good, then I can spread my HIV.
Michelle Theis No.
This isn't "living" in the tunnels this is "fiending" in the tunnels beneath Las Vegas.
"eventually, everything becomes comfortable if you do it long enough."
Deep.
that's not deep! that's some more nonsense junkies tell themselves instead of getting clean, "its just been so long its like it doesnt even effect me now maaaannnn"....then proceeds to shoot up, pass out and wake up stealing someones stereo out of their car.
These people need to escape the tunnels and go to the forest
Or drugs
And ruin the forest?
They still need to victimize society. They're not self reliant enough for the forest
Na those county mounties would round then up real quick!
this can lead to insanity
Im pretty sure sitting in an overpriced apartment and going to some lifeless job every day also leads to insanity. Trust me im there haha
So can lots of things.
So can normal life lol
Get a job u catfish
@ because they don't worry or think about what others do or are.
If you stay underground to long without any light you will turn into the falmer of skyrim. LOL
Pretty sophisticated with the batteries and everything
I've vacationed to Las Vegas, it's eerie that I wasn't aware of this.
US is like a third world country that somehow got the largest gdp in the world
Lol what? Make yourself believe that mate
every country is a third world country if you look at only poor people from a country.
I want a whole documentary on this !! Pretty interesting. I’m an addict myself, but stuff like this still amazes me.. I’d love to see a docu on this, then see all of the addicts go to treatment centers afterwards.
