    Watching this as my aglaonema sits in direct sunlight 😩 i paused and moved it right away 😂

      @Jay Gurbuxani, Glad to know you found it helpful...Yeah, they don't prefer direct sun and many other varieties like Aglaonema modestum, Aglaonema Silver Queen can handle extreme low light. Thank you for watching the video 😂😂😂

    Your plants are so beautiful and healthy.
    I had bought lipstick aglonema 2 - 3 months back.... It was doing well.
    I repotted it 4-5 days back.
    And now it's leaves are droopy. I am sure soil is not dry, I have watered it well.
    Can u help save my plant ? Please advise what to do 🙏🏼.
    My plant is kept in the balcony.... Which gets full day bright light... No direct sunlight.
    I live in Delhi.

      @Shefali Gupta, Sorry for the late reply...That's repotting shock and your plant should do well within few days (I believe it's already looking good) Look like, the the roots got damaged a bit while repotting, or else, they usually don't behave like that. Also, before watering, please wait and let the top soil dry out. From lighting issue, it's perfect. Wishing you all the best :-)

    Thank you ..all your videos are beautiful
    i wstch them very often specially whenever i nerd unformation on any of my plants...
    please advise.....How can we bring out more vsriant colours on tge Aglonema leaves...since ut us an undoir plant...dies sunlight help in changing tge colour.....
    please reply. thank you...

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Wilfred Dias, You are most welcome and thank you so much for your words..For more Vibrant color, we need very very bright light. If we keep under direct Sunlight, leaves start to become green, growths stop and we can also find yellow leaves. In low light, we can find bit yellowish color on leaves. So, light is the most important thing. Other than that, please also feed on regular basis and avoid over watering your plants. Good luck :-)

    Hi, I just found your channel I love your videos! Your plants look so well and you explain everything so it is easy for a newbie like me to understand. I have a pink aglaonema and I am wondering what "more difficult to grow" means. Is there any other thing I should have in consideration! One leaf has started going brown and drooping, it has been watered but the leaf looks worse every day and it looks like the plant is taking nourishment from this leaf. Do you have any idea what I should do? Thank you!

    One of my cats actually ate one or two leaves of the plant and Then I had to cut the leaf because it was turning brow to darkish brown color .
    Someone told me it might be infected so i sprayed it with baking soda and water as i didn't have anti fungal spray available.
    And now many leaves like the first are turning brown and dying and they are drooping and now i don't know what to do there are only two leaves available. Someone help me because I am new to plant care .

    Did I understand correctly that I should water my aglaonema when droplets of water appear on the leaves? My aglaonema has droplets or even streaks of water on the leaves very often, even when the soil is humid and apparently it doesnt need watering yet. I actually thought that those droplets were appearing after watering it.

    Hi..I have bought a pink variety aglaonema that you are showing in this video. The leaves start yellowing after I repot in fresh soil. I took cocopeat, sand, vermi ompost, little bit of neem khali and saaf fungicide. When the leaves start yellowing I uprooted it and found that it has root rot. So I trimmed the rotten root and soak the roots in fungicide solution and again reported in fresh soil and watered moderately. But still same result. So I was hopeless and I trimmed the rotten roots once again and put it in water. In water, it developed root and kind of became stable. I could see a new leaf also. But recently one of the leaves started to yellow and shredded. Now one more leaf is yellowing. Now only three leaves are there including the new one. Is it a natural process or I am doing something wrong with the plant. Please reply. I am hopeless as I am struggling with this plant for the last 4 months.

      @Alliah Noromor, If Humidity is less in your place, you can do that (though they survive well in low Humidity as well). Occasional misting would keep the leaves clean and so definitely you can do that. Or else, to clean the leaves you can also use clean water and clothes. Thank you :-)

I bought one from Walmart in container for 16.98 same as HomeDepot for 24.99 but HomeDepot usually got more plants 🪴and more rare ones. For HomeDepot to get the pretty plants 🪴I checked out every week. The prices for local nurseries are higher.

    I have a pink agleomena that’s at least a year old and it has not grown. It got one new leaf, but lost 2 old ones. It’s very wilted looking, but the roots look great and it gets watered adequately. It’s in a nice chunky soil. I’m about to give up on it. I even tried it under glass and it still didn’t improve much. Any ideas?

    I have repotted my newly purchased Aglaonema Lipstick but the leaves are drooping. It's a small plant with only 7-8 leaves. I have provided it medium light in my room. Epsom salt was given to it. Please suggest what to do next?

    Hello nice plants I just wanted to ask can we use same soil mix for areca palm also mine is a dwarf variety pls let me know

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Suhasini Powar, Thank you very much :-) Yeah, sure we can use and it's okay even we don't prepare the potting soil mix for Areca palm the similar way. You can do it this way as well - Normal soil - 50%, Cocopeat or Sand - 25% and Vermicompost of Composted cow dung manure - 25%. Thank you :-)

    In summer months also you water them with a week gap

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Naseema Khan, Depends a bit...like, if it's raining or cloudy, then I water almost in the same interval. But anyway, it's always a good idea to check the soil before watering. I had to do that before...but, now it's not needed as I know when they need water. Thank you :-)

    Is Aglonima serviving very low light?

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Cloth Collection, We can keep some varieties under low light...like which are more of in the shade of Green color. But, for Pink Aglaonema or other bright colored Aglaonema varieties, we need to provide as much bright light as possible. Thank you :-) Bright color means demand bright light :-)

    I love your videos esp with updates 👍 very informative and useful. Binge watching now lol. I have the pink ones too- lady valentine and red master. ❤️ Hope they grow well! Question- can I cover the top soil with some white pebbles or is that not beneficial for indoor plants?

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @dreydrey8731, Thank you SOOOOOOOOO much for the feedback, appreciate it. I always try to provide complete updates whenever I am covering about Plant care :-) You can definitely cover the top soil with white pebbles. It doesn't have any benefits to the plant, people do it just to enhance the looks :-)
