Greetings from Bai's Garden . Was looking out for some inspiration to work on a content about Aglaonema Plant. Thats when i found this video . It was very informative and interesting.
Hello, when you said aglonema pink is difficult to grow, I'd like to know in which ways it's difficult, it's one of my favourite plants. So please do tell.
Thank you ..all your videos are beautiful i wstch them very often specially whenever i nerd unformation on any of my plants... please advise.....How can we bring out more vsriant colours on tge Aglonema leaves...since ut us an undoir plant...dies sunlight help in changing tge colour..... please reply. thank you...
@Wilfred Dias, You are most welcome and thank you so much for your words..For more Vibrant color, we need very very bright light. If we keep under direct Sunlight, leaves start to become green, growths stop and we can also find yellow leaves. In low light, we can find bit yellowish color on leaves. So, light is the most important thing. Other than that, please also feed on regular basis and avoid over watering your plants. Good luck :-)
@Monti Dutta, Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOO much for your words, appreciate it :-) A plants lover can understand the feeling of other plants lover and so definitely our earth needs more people like you too..who loves plants :-)
@jayashree murthy, Thank you so so much and good to know you have both varieties :-) Yah, you can get the Pink one too and I would show you some more varieties soon :-) I have 4 more varieties :-)
Pink aglonema? You didn't speak about it...pls do. I watered long back and my pink aglonema soil is still moist.. no new growth too. Pls advise if I did something wrong.
You are right...can't tolerate direct sunlight..but heat is not much of a problem when they are protected from direct sunlight. Even Summer temp in my place is quite high too..Thank you :-)
Very nice video..my aglaonema plant as it is had 5 leaves..all have turned yellow n fell one by one ...bcos i hd no idea how to take care of it..only its min stem is green ..r there any chances of its survival..i have kept in shade now n stopped overwatering...can u suggest some means to save my plant
You are most welcome and definitely your plant can be revived. I already did a video last year where I have provided solutions to such problems. Plus, I have also provided the updates and if you are interested, please take a look here - th-cam.com/video/5zrqqNQrRSs/w-d-xo.html
Hi, I just found your channel I love your videos! Your plants look so well and you explain everything so it is easy for a newbie like me to understand. I have a pink aglaonema and I am wondering what "more difficult to grow" means. Is there any other thing I should have in consideration! One leaf has started going brown and drooping, it has been watered but the leaf looks worse every day and it looks like the plant is taking nourishment from this leaf. Do you have any idea what I should do? Thank you!
Your plants are so beautiful and healthy. I had bought lipstick aglonema 2 - 3 months back.... It was doing well. I repotted it 4-5 days back. And now it's leaves are droopy. I am sure soil is not dry, I have watered it well. Can u help save my plant ? Please advise what to do 🙏🏼. My plant is kept in the balcony.... Which gets full day bright light... No direct sunlight. I live in Delhi.
@Shefali Gupta, Sorry for the late reply...That's repotting shock and your plant should do well within few days (I believe it's already looking good) Look like, the the roots got damaged a bit while repotting, or else, they usually don't behave like that. Also, before watering, please wait and let the top soil dry out. From lighting issue, it's perfect. Wishing you all the best :-)
Nice video Chandan . Yes there are lots of varities of Aglonema and they are very beautiful . Right now in my collection I have 5 different varieties . 😊😊😊 .

@Jay Gurbuxani, Glad to know you found it helpful...Yeah, they don't prefer direct sun and many other varieties like Aglaonema modestum, Aglaonema Silver Queen can handle extreme low light. Thank you for watching the video 😂😂😂
Thank you for sharing in the video. At the moment ... I have one bunch Aglaonema from friend which I put in the jar with water ... I'll try to use your soil composition and I will let you know

It seems that in your Snow White Aglaonema one leaf appears to be rusted. I am facing the same problems. How to solve the problem? It's worth mentioning here that I have repotted my two Snow White Aglaonema exactly the same way you have guided. Thanks a lot.🙏
Please advise if plants which r bought from nurseries in small grow pots need to be removed from the pots before potting them? I bought 2 Aglonema saplings which came in these pots but have not grown more than one inch in 3 months? Should I remove these pots and replant them? Thanks
I have a pink agleomena that’s at least a year old and it has not grown. It got one new leaf, but lost 2 old ones. It’s very wilted looking, but the roots look great and it gets watered adequately. It’s in a nice chunky soil. I’m about to give up on it. I even tried it under glass and it still didn’t improve much. Any ideas?
I love your videos esp with updates 👍 very informative and useful. Binge watching now lol. I have the pink ones too- lady valentine and red master. ❤️ Hope they grow well! Question- can I cover the top soil with some white pebbles or is that not beneficial for indoor plants?
@dreydrey8731, Thank you SOOOOOOOOO much for the feedback, appreciate it. I always try to provide complete updates whenever I am covering about Plant care :-) You can definitely cover the top soil with white pebbles. It doesn't have any benefits to the plant, people do it just to enhance the looks :-)

@Parveen Fatima, Definitely you can..in fact, it would be great place for most of the Indoor plants as they don't need direct sunlight :-) Thank you for watching the video :-)
@Suhasini Powar, Thank you very much :-) Yeah, sure we can use and it's okay even we don't prepare the potting soil mix for Areca palm the similar way. You can do it this way as well - Normal soil - 50%, Cocopeat or Sand - 25% and Vermicompost of Composted cow dung manure - 25%. Thank you :-)
