I grow my Aglonemia in a water planter, the roots are encased in volcanic stones but the roots are totally in the water with hydroponic solution. I have to cut out the flowers as I was told they are useless and take up the nutrients. I live in Perth West Australia. Thanks for tips for caring for the lovely plants.

Yes you can use vermicompost but it’s not a complete plant food. It’s organic so can be used in Food crops like vegetables.
For ornamental, we suggest any slow releaser which gives 100% accurate food slowly to keep plants healthy. They are very easily available online .

But, Reasons for alternanthera plant turning into green is that the intensity of the lighting or the duration time is insufficient. Try increasing the lighting period by 1-2 hours and observe the changes.

Irregular watering is the most common cause for this. check your watering schedule and plant/soil condition to determine if its overwatering or underwatering 🌱

Bring the plant inside during monsoon, specially if it's pouring heavily, as it may effect your plant. Overwatering may cause root rot, so it must be avoided.🙂🌱
Hello sir.. sir i have snow white aglonema and in august it will be 1 yr old.. i have not yet given any fertilizer or food to it just keep watering it.. i have noticed my old leaves are becoming yellow now and the new ones growing are not growing to its full size they are small.. also the upper layer of soil is seen little white in colour.. plz suggest what should i do and also particular which fertilizer and online where do i find it..plz help sir

How to get the bigger leaves?
Hey! If your plant's new leaves are coming in smaller than usual, it could be due to several factors like Nutrient Deficiency, Watering issues. Please add fertilizer once in a month.
My Aglaonema plants looks healthy but growing tall and lanky. Without support it can’t stay straight. Any thing I can do for this. Regards
Cut it & propagate in soil or water. Roots will develop easily on 1-2 months. New shoots will grow in mother plant.
Why my Aglonaema plants are yellowing...at the leaf edges nd then full leaf.
The most common cause of yellowing leaves among Aglaonema is under watering or over watering - Watering should be done completely until u see water is leaking from the bottom and the next watering should be done when top layer of soil dries.

Hey! If your plants is growing new leaves then no need to worry. As plants mature and grow, older leaves can age-out, start to yellow, and eventually fall from your plant. This is natural leaf shedding.
Here in my country to hot specially in summer even air and water are hot I feel sad my aglao insha'Allah they've survive knaw I put my aglao behind the pool down the lemons tree
