I have found cutting off most of the leaves, instead of plant trying to keep the leaves alive (which it can't possibly do with no roots) it can concentrate what energy it has into growing roots rather than wasting on leaves. Great video. Thanks
Hi, just wanted to say that you make the most informative videos. I watch regularly from the US and am so grateful that you always tell everything I would want to know even before I could think of the question! You have a beautiful family and I hope you find a lot of success, thank you for helping me find happiness in my indoor garden!
@Rachel M, Thank you so much for your kind words, really means a lot to me! Working hard to achieve my Goal and thank you so much once again for Pushing me, it's really hard to find Well Wishers like you! If you get any issue with your plants, ask me anytime and I would try my best to assist you. Have a great time ahead and TC :-)
This is one of the best propagation videos I have ever seen! It has everything I wanted to see! You can see everything clearly, from where to cut and what to do and even the following progress after! I love it! Please keep up the good work! ✨👍🏼
Thank you once again for a very informative video on how to propagate the chinese evergreen. I had these some time back but thye died when the weather became very hot. Will get one from the nursery and propagate it. Do you have any videos on how to braid a bouganvillea into a tree?
Yeah...during extreme hot weather, need to be bit careful. All the best in getting another one. As of now, I don't have video on braided Bougainvillea but this year, planning for 2 - one is braided one and another one growing like a tree. Wish me good luck :-)
Thank you so much. I'm excited to try the methods you've shared. I have never had much luck using the root hormone. Something that I have found to help is when I'm doing a water propagation is when I put a fresh cutting of pothos in with my plants. I've done a comparison for many plants and the ones I put a pothos in always root faster than without.
I’ve heard this too. I’m about to try a water propagation so I will take a cutting from my golden pothos and put it in and we shall see. Great video. Thanks. !!
> " I have never had much luck using the root hormone" Because you did it wrong, yet you like to blame the rooting hormone. One shouldn't immediately apply rooting hormone, instead the cutting should be stored away from 24-48 hours, then they end of cutting will get a callus, and only then you apply rotting powder. Secondly, very important, one should hardly water the soil for a few weeks, don't even use a water can, but just spray it slightly when needed every couple of days, but not too often! Also use the right soil! Works great for me. Keep in mind that rooting powder also contains an anti-fungus.
Your videos are very helpful. I like the way you showcase every topic. You try to give every single detail that an amateur would need. Thanks a lot for such useful videos and keep up the good work.
My aglaonema suffered root rot. Used the 3rd method this morning to save it. However, your video made me realized to use water propagation instead. Hope my aglaonema survives.
Thank you for this great video. I live in the desert, so I now feel safe to propagate my plant even though it's August because it's still hot here. Wish we could share pics of our plants with you! Very informative video!
Thank you so much for your feedback, much appreciated! Yeah, happens during the monsoon and we need to apply fungicide. I use SAAF..works well but it's Chemical (dose 2 grams in 1 liter water and 1 teaspoon = 5 grams). In case you want to use organic, you can try Utkarsh Trichoz-P (Available on Amazon and it's (Bio Fungicide).
Hello bro I like to tell you correct way of saying "percent" bcus u are saying it like "persentes" you have to say it like "per-sent" not with "es." I notice this in most of the videos I watched from you and I am not sure if anyone corrected you on that or if you already fixed it. Anyway I find your videos very helpful and I subscribed the other day. Thank you so much! I watched this video because I think my plant was having a root rot because I did not know how to care for it so now I think to propagate it. So I found your video really helpful.
Great and informative video. I love how you show the roots before and after. Can the water propagated specimen be transferred to dirt? Or does it need to stay in water permanently?
Thank you So much for your feedback, much appreciated! Sure, we can transfer the water propagated plants to dirt for better growth and I have already shown the same in the video. We can transfer once the roots are around 1/2 inch long (I waited for more long time though). Good luck :-)
Good evening Chandan jii 🙏🙏 After a long time I saw ur uploaded vdo Bcz my father was hospitalized Bdw nice n informative vdo 👌👌 Beautiful 3 techniques for propagation the aglonima plants I hv tried to propagate with the baby plants, not tried with stem cutting methods ...Nxt time definitely wl try stem cutting methods...thnqq for sharing 🙏🙏 Happy gardening,,,hv a grt day 👍👍🥰🥰
@Baijayantee Sethi, Good evening Baijayantee jii 🙏🙏 Sorry to know about your father and I hope he is fine now. In fact, I also uploaded after few days gap. Thank you very much for the feedback and sure, Good luck in propagating 👌👌 Happy gardening and TC :-)
The problem with aglonaemas is that all varieties do give out offshoot instead it becomes tall and leggy but I have one aglonaema it's red in color gives out lot of offshoots so it's easy to divide them but others do not. I've propagated lipstick aglonaema and had been successful. Thanks for your video
Can u tell me the variety name of the 1st plant which your daughter was holding? How much does it cost? I want to buy one for myself. Wherefrom did you collect? I did not see this generally in west bengal nursery.
Sure, we can and in fact, we can move much earlier. We can move to the soil once the roots are around 1/2 inch long. Because of my laziness, I waited for more time, he he..But anyway, in the video I have shown transferring the same cutting to the soil. Sorry for the late reply :-(
I had a red and green dotted small Agnolema plant. But due to some reason all the leaves(total 4 leaves) were dried up and I had to remove one by one.Now my plant is only a green stem. Will you please tell what shall I do tomake it servive? Thanks.
So basically agalonema will only propagate from a pup plant/off shoot(as u said ) or from a stem cutting. We can keep stem cutting in water or applying rooting hormone to stem cutting and insert in soil pot. Agalonema won't propagate via leaves?
@Ak Editz, Alright...I would upload very soon..specially discussing about one of the most common issues - burning leaves and flowers in Summer. Thank you and Sir is not required actually :-)
2 years n no offshoot...bit strange 🤔 Anyway, few variety takes time to produce new offshoots. Please try growing Snow white variety once, it produces offshoots much faster. The issue is either soil or lack of required light, good luck 👍
My aglonema plant's lower leaves got damaged because i couldn't care as i was out of station. I removed all the damaged leaves and now it looks leggy with 6-7 green nodes below.. Can i get new leaves from those nodes? Will my plant look bushy again..pls reply!!!
@Anusha Kasera, I would upload one video very soon on Rose plant..You can use Theeta and it works well on Roses. It's available on Amazon...Caring for Roses in Summer is bit difficult and need more care..specially for Hybrid Roses..
Mere aglonema plant ki leave bhut fastly yellow hokr gir rhi thi toh maine uski root check ki to starting se thodi gal rhi thi utni root maine cut kr di fr but uske baad se plant ki new leave growth honi bnd ho gyi pgle fast new leave grow ho rhi thi or gir bhi rhi thi. Kaise plant ko revive kr skti hu kya cut krdena chahiye ya fr kya krna chahiye
Alright...mai ak video abhi Aglonema ke upar hi kar raha hu. Edit kar raha hu aur kal tak upload kar dunga (around 8:pm) Us video me aapko sabhi info mil jayenge. Almost 1.5 years ka updates hoga. Hope it is fine 😊 EDIT - Just uploaded and here is the link to the video - th-cam.com/video/5zrqqNQrRSs/w-d-xo.html

As per my knowledge it is called aglonema Valentine. I have that one
Which month is best for propagate by using cutting method
Sorry for the late reply..Spring is the best time to grow anything from cuttings :-)
Thank you
Does aglonema propagate from leaf
No..please avoid wasting your time trying that..The division method is the most easiest one and most of the nurseries do the same.
Can we repot on nov
We can but not the best idea as growth stops in winter. Much better to do in Spring..
@@GardeningUpbeat oky thank you
thanks
Hi! If I propogate it in water, how long should I wait before I place it into soil?
Please wait until an unless roots are at least 1/2 inch long..Good luck :-)
Superb
Thank you so much 🙂
