At 6:00 when training defense, you are allowed to re-roll any bones one time.

Nice playthru :) at 51:00 you have 3 armor/defense up but you only have 2 i defense, hence you can not have 3 up there. You an only have 2 active defense dice in those slots as long as you have only 2 in defense skills. Bones never count towards defense or attack dice though :)

This is a game I’ve been interested in for awhile, but the cost and just so many expansions; I just kinda gave up on it.
In your opinion, what do you need to buy to get started with the game?

I think if you want a taste of it, Too Many Bones Undertow is good!

FWIW, as someone who's relatively new to the game, I agree with Dani that Undertow is a good place to start. The only catch is, there aren't enough gearlocs in there to play more than a 2 player game. If that's not a dealbreaker (or if you only plan to play solo). then it's a great place to start.
