      Hey auto design was weird in the 90s/early 2000s but it was much better than the 80s 🤣

      No, no. Looks great. That headlight design fits the bike perfect. Have a look at fir instance the BMWs from the same area. The R1150GS for instance oO.

    Had my ‘99 TL-RX delivered today, blue/white, 15k miles, Yoshi RS3 exhausts and the oem cans wrapped up & stored.
    I had a TL, a ‘98 20 years ago.. Awesome bikes

    Lovely looking TLR, and in the best colours IMHO. My last Suzuki was a 99 SRAD 750, which I loved. I have just bought a very tidy yellow Firestorm. I am really enjoying the big V-Twin experience after years of in line 4's. 😊

    Love it. I understand why the front tire is flat on the 250r but I love how the tl1000 drowns out the kid noises. I need to get one of these.

    Nice TL man but In my humble opinion having the twin Yoshi's or Two Bro's mufflers is part of the V twin experience. That complete 1000r look V.. Hella nice though.

    Micah, great bike. Not being a online KNOWITALL, but 3 brand Master Tech, offering friendly advice. Replace the battery next time, and buy a Battery Tender. The charging system is NOT a battery charger which you're essentially asking it to do, even though you started it with a jump box, doesn't matter. Always store the bike with ETHANOL FREE FUEL and or a name brand stabilizer, yes they work. I've been racing Suzuki for 40 years and still race my GS1100 although it's much bigger now. I also have 2 - GSXR1100W. One day I want to get a TL1000R, even though they had several design flaws, very much unlike Suzuki. Enjoy the bike, she's beautiful. SARGE

      No. If deceleration from high rpm in gear, it will give a pop or two but not under normal conditions.

    So did you notice any lose of power when you chopped your exhaust. I took the bafgles of of my already chopped RS-3 but had to fabricate some baffling for the right side ss i was losing back pressure and sll exhaust was coming out the right side.

      I dont dislike them enough to go through the effort of installing cans. And this one is just as stubborn to start as my 97 TLS with 4500 miles was. Seems to be a common feature.

  • @guvsgarage
    @guvsgarage 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    No man. Sounds like crap. Put some decent cans on it, you know these bikes sound awesome with cans. Slash cut pipes just sound shit, and piss everyone off. I have owned two TLR's and I have Carbon Yoshi RS-3' on mine right now - sound deep and loud without that blown header gasket sound on idle you got going on. You can't improve much on the TLR sound - especially by hacking the mufflers off.

    • @rm25088
      @rm25088 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine can with full system d and ds which I hate. On deceleration they sound amazong though. To me on acceleration they don't sound good enough. But I've never let anyone ride it so I can't tell how they sound.
