  • Here is a basic set up on how I did the tps and tb synch for my TL1000R.
On this, you should aim to get your bike when warm to idle around 1250-1300. due to age of the bike, some guys will aim to set it at 1500rpm.
Some use carbtune, or make there own, but setting them up and balancing is all the same.
Sorry about the sound in some areas, but hope it basically helps in some way
For the tool I use, not connected in anyway, but it will save you heaps of time. He makes them himself..called synchroking carburettor throttle body balancer search will give you the page if inerested

Excellent, thank you. I did mine 5 yrs ago and used two Corona bottles, tubing and a glue gun to make my manometer 😅 It's been languishing since and so I need to start again. Might buy the proper tool this time around! Your video has saved me what I remember was a day or two of research. Also, am I seeing a resurgence of TL1000R videos or have I just not been looking....? Anyway, thanks from the north of Scotland 👍🏻

    Hello,
    What was left behind.
If Power Commander is installed, it must be disconnected, and connect the OEM connector, because the PC modifies the TPS signal.

not sure what you mean left behind?. but sure if you have PC installed, you need to disconnect and tune up, but if you reinstall a PC, its best to then dyno it..!

I need to do this to mine. I'll get to it eventually. Do you have a link to for that gauge? I was going to buy the amazon ones but they seem cheap.

@@moystonadv3651 I am going to make my own manometer this weekend and do it. Bike runs rough at idle, pops when giving it gas in the low rpm and hesitates. Once its up higher in the rpm is seems fine but lacking power. I also have a healtech EFI yosh box clone coming so, I want to do the TPS and throttle bodies before I do that. It is difficult to ride as it is.

sounds like you need it...with yr manometre, its seems best to use transmission fluid...but dont let it get sucked in...

@@moystonadv3651 alright, will do. I want to find a way to restrict the lines of the manometer a little. Maybe some barbed fish tank line connectors.

nar...it will restrict the pressure...just make the tubes longer..plenty of how to's
