Joe Perry one of my all-time favorite guitarists as well as Aerosmith a huge inspiration to creating and playing music the raw gritty Hard Rock playing and band stage set was always a perfect representation of just wanting to Rock!
Yes in 1975 Aerosmith in their first Florida appearance opened for Jeff Beck. It was supposed to be The Faces headlining but Stewart claimed a sore throat. When Beck was playing Perry and Tyler could be seen in the back side of the stage watching the show.
This is the second video that I’ve watched of yours that has ZERO input from the artist that you present..it is all of your own opinion..a real shitty presentation
Hmm...I have read many interviews with Joe Perry where he singled out Jeff Beck as a major guitar influence on his playing. Any reason why you left him out?
Seen Joe Perry over a dozen times, much of what the AI "presenter" said is a bunch of B.S.. And I don't mean my initials, I mean Bull Shit. When he and Steven Tyler inducted Led Zeppelin into the RaRHOF Mr. Perry went on for a while about how much Jimmy Page and the LZ sound influenced him. And I have seen Jeff Beck live too, and the look, the moves and the tuning are all right up Joe's alley, or weren't you paying attention? C'mon now.
Gotta fix the AI program on this one. Page and Beck meant a lot more to Perry than most of these....

You missed Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. Both of which are more obvious and pervasive influences than the people mentioned here.
Thank you. Beck was a major influence on Perry

Joe Perry claimed that there will never be another Eddie Van Halen or Jimi Hendrix.
Gee he aged well, looks a million bucks.

Danny Kirwin held his own with Peter Green
Since Joe Perry is ALIVE I'd much rather hear this from him instead of random footage and AI-narrated bullsh ! t..
This presentation is a bunch of filler, cliches, truisms and nonsense. Made up stuff to fill 10 minutes. Almost clickbait.
Perry always seemed to base himself upon Jimmy Page IMO
