That’s job security!…I get the occasional land clearing jobs and I just dig up and push the trees over and rip everything out of the ground….that’s great you can mulch it up and come back in a couple weeks and do it again….lol!

Haha it all depends on what they’re plan is afterwards. If they’re building or want lawn, we rip, burn and grade

@@VTOutdoorServices your allowed to burn if your clearing land, like they do in North Carolina? No burning in jersey… have to chip and grind…but there’s no woods left anyhow…lol!

The Fecon website says rotor speed is 2,400 RPM. Did you turn it up past spec? Just curious.

Yeah I went high since my flow was low. It’s on a different machine now that puts out 26gpm vs 16gpm

Theses just not enough flow coming from that excavator for that head.

Without a power pack or hi flow system, small excavators are worthless platforms for mulching.
The drum speed rarely got over 1000 rpm during operation so whats the point of tuning to 2800?

Simple, because that’s what the manual says to do

I’d disagree, I know several guys running sub 60hp machines with a mulchers achieving great results. Definitely a niche market but certainly a needed one. Small jobs don’t justify transport costs for large machines.
