Without a power pack or hi flow system, small excavators are worthless platforms for mulching. The drum speed rarely got over 1000 rpm during operation so whats the point of tuning to 2800?
I’d disagree, I know several guys running sub 60hp machines with a mulchers achieving great results. Definitely a niche market but certainly a needed one. Small jobs don’t justify transport costs for large machines.
She’s humming now buddy
Great job, I am Glad it was so simple to adjust.
wish I had a shop like that. Great Vid!
That is impressive!
Where did you get the tachometer?
Amazon
The Fecon website says rotor speed is 2,400 RPM. Did you turn it up past spec? Just curious.
Yeah I went high since my flow was low. It’s on a different machine now that puts out 26gpm vs 16gpm
