1. Clean the top of ur paint can rims before closing them. 2. When the paint falls to less than 2/3 of the container size, transfer it to a smaller container. 2 liter soda bottles are great for storing latex OR oil based paints. and you can squeeze the air out to preserve the paint.
16:03 I was watching the gap on the top saying to myself, "oh I hope he uses the extra epoxy / glue to fill in the top". Then you did it, thank you for fulfillment my wishes. hahaha.
Great video as always! Suggestion; always remove the fill plug first (before the drain plug), this way if there’s an issue or it is stripped and you can’t get it out, at least the fluid isn’t all drained out.
I'm pretty sure that by opening the lower port first, theoretically none of the fluid should have leaked out. This would be just like the lower end of an outboard boat motor. So I'm assuming the oil drained out because the case seal is partially compromised. Not a big enough problem to address yet. 🤷

A person that sits and does it all day will not because he knows it is work for the future!
Also, lots of the repair shops do half ass lousy work, but still charge a premium rate for bad work!
Inspector Gadget.
one of the fastest growing YTers...and there is no doubt why..there are also a lot of jealous YTers who are of the same genre...lesson is guys..watch and learn from this very smart..industrious Man.
and he never asks for thumbs up,s ,begs for subs or e-begs for money with patreon/paypal..
so refreshing...
@Advocatus Diaboli if one gets around 128k views withing 24 hours with a subscribernumber of 175k one should go full steam ahead on the chosen route.
its better than all these semi-dead channels with half a million/million plus subs channels with only 50k views a vid.
down to earth is his chosen path literally and figuratively ;-)
I am a retired mechanic that spent 20 years racing cars in Europe.....I now live in the tropics of Far North Queensland Australia. So I have absolutely nothing in common with the temperature that Andrew works in but everything in common with recognising that he is a true gun tradesman. Love your videos mate.
Thanks
Ok fine, I'll go to bed in 47 minutes instead of now...
That’s my line, ha ha ha
Haha same
I watch his videos at 1.75x normal speed so I got it done in 26.9 minutes.
@@matthewwheaton5835 Good idea more time to watch another one!
Sleeping is overrated😂
That oil filter gasket prelube was slick. Ive never seen someone do it quite like that.
The usual recommendation is to smear on some new oil, but what's wrong with using some old oil from the old filter in that fashion? Fits perfectly as a template to apply the oil prior to mounting it! No need to smear it around with your finger!
the other plus is you see for sure that the old gasket came off. Personally, I'd wipe off the gasket mounting surface too, but whatever works, right?
I like that you do your best to make your machines as close to original as possible. The thumb is a great option but the best option is quick discount. I am retired and disabled I enjoy your videos.
Your truly going to appreciate all this effort come your busy season. While other guys will be broken down or waiting on parts your going be working 👍. Great content. Fine job.
OH WOW IGODA GET ME A PEICE OF OLD TRACK , I love your entrepreneur spirit Andrew .
if he can't hide it in the scrap metal somehow, it'll cost him the dump it. so, hell, why not cut it up and sign it/paw print and sell for a few sheckles on ebay if you can break even for your time, and someone gets a kick out of it.
Best thing about your videos is you ATTITUDE. Nothing ... nothing ever stops you in your tracks.
Yanmar, follows KISS, keep it simple stupid. I worked on sailboat engines just out of high school and Yanmar made the most sensible designed engines I came across. Unbelievable, engineers that designed things so they do not break and when they do, they can actually be fixed. Keep up the good work, I love your videos, I always learn something new, thank you.
I love the principal of KISS in engineering. Keep It Simple Simon
Hi Andrew, too avoid skin on the paint after you hammer the lid bak you turn over the paint can to fill the gaps soo the thinner will not eskape... sorry for my English, i'm Dutch
Great video! Love your calmness, and description of the issue being tackled. Keep Them coming! Pleasant greetings from BELIZE!
1) You continue to inspire AND educate in the realms of practical reality. THANK YOU!!!!
2) GLOVES!!! Protect those digits!
Hi Andrew watching in the UK, I agree with all the other comments you are a master at this type of work and great camera work.
I want to thank you for these videos so much! My toddler is absolutely obsessed with them. As soon as he wakes up he asks for "kaka" which in his language means "tractor" (he associates every machine you work on with a tractor). We are very grateful for your interesting videos & keep up the good work! God bless...
You're a legend. filming and fixing things both at the same time. Instantly Subscribed!
Have to say...that's one of your best shows ever...you did a complete undercarriage rebuild ALONE.as well as the other things...will be waiting to see the thumb video.....Super job..
The fact that these videos make me want to watch him repair an excavator for one hour straight proves that he make good videos
Your knowledge and understanding of your machinery is quite outstanding really enjoy your videos
I love all your video’s Andrew and I love your life, I hope I grow up to be like you someday ❤️✌️
I bet you will too
I am getting a mini-ex in the near future and learned 100x more from this video than I did from the "things to look for when buying an excavator" videos... Great job and great content as always Andrew! 1M here we come!
Dude you are just brilliant. Your safe, very ingenious, I love how with the right tools you can do do much, plus you use your machine to assist yourself. Outstanding work
....you are an inspiration to young and old alike.....you take care of your equipment, and they will take care of you...always buy the very best, you will never be sorry
Right... preventive maintenance is the key for long-life on almost everything!
I like how you take good care of your equipment. At least with the painting. Even if its not perfect, I believe you have the right idea with your actions. Something is better than nothing at all.
"Ok, Let's get started!!" Andrew is the best!!
As usual enjoyed the video, (who didnt?) keep em coming. ✨ 🥇 🙂
I cracked up when Andrew played with the controls and looked ahead as though he were working a job. Love these vids.
Alright let's get started! That looks pretty good. That went pretty well. It's fixed now!
Yeah and most people are like: This is fuckin shit.. it doesn't work.. damnit..it will never work.. I hate that damn thing.. I will just buy a new one.. and so on.
- It's all about mindset.
Impact > Grinder > Torch
lol i could feel the anger as the steps progressed on those rollers!
Watching this maybe for the third time , far more entertaining than 99.9 % of TV
Those rollers will look good in your scrap iron pile. Nice job on the yanmar.

I was sad when it ended, amazing amazing video, thanks so much for sharing! :)
I was a little bummed myself when the drone took off.
A beautiful woman like you could be with Andrew and you can live this life with him 😂👍🏼
@@audilifestyle2739 LoL likely not a woman
@@audilifestyle2739 As Travis mentioned, pretty girls don't use the internet. Fact.
toysareforboys my wife does. But she watches cooking videos not construction 😂😂😂
I watch every video you post and I find every one useful and informative. I like the fact that you send every machine out painted and looking smart! Well done!
Got LiL B looking good. Put Levi's paw print on the track pieces as well and sell them at twice the price...just say'in. Good job!!
1. Clean the top of ur paint can rims before closing them. 2. When the paint falls to less than 2/3 of the container size, transfer it to a smaller container. 2 liter soda bottles are great for storing latex OR oil based paints. and you can squeeze the air out to preserve the paint.
" I almost left my vice grips in there" Ha Ha, no bud you DID leave your Vice Grips in there. Thoroughly enjoy the Vids !
Lol, yeah vice like vicious. Vise like bench vise to grip on something. Common but funny mistake. ;+)
Quote of the day: "I found somethin' ta hammer."
Waking up to a cup of Joe and a new Andrew Camarata video ❤
16:03 I was watching the gap on the top saying to myself, "oh I hope he uses the extra epoxy / glue to fill in the top". Then you did it, thank you for fulfillment my wishes. hahaha.
I thought the same aswell
Just curioud what head weight of that sledge you think hes using? 10lb or a 14lb?
Changing out those rollers really sucked! Good job getting er done!
This guy 100% wears Old Spice. He's a real man!
He sweats old spice..
Diesel
Great video as always!
Suggestion; always remove the fill plug first (before the drain plug), this way if there’s an issue or it is stripped and you can’t get it out, at least the fluid isn’t all drained out.
I'm pretty sure that by opening the lower port first, theoretically none of the fluid should have leaked out. This would be just like the lower end of an outboard boat motor. So I'm assuming the oil drained out because the case seal is partially compromised. Not a big enough problem to address yet. 🤷
@@bat__batthe point is ensuring that you’d be able to refill it with new oil, not to help it drain. You can’t refill it from the drain hole.
Undo the FILL plug first, THEN the drain.
That way, you know you can REFILL.
yeah, In worst case you can turn the axle 180° and fill trough the drain plug..
He filled it from the drain anyways
