therealG the mercurials circles were the common or best place to hit a soccer ball with your foot, so i doubt a basketball sneaker would have that meaning
Hunter Brown are you sure because upon further look of the shoes, there’s a circle just after the swoosh, and also where the ball of the foot is on the medial side. There’s also one on the heel, and I don’t think any of those parts of the foot are a particularly good place to kick a ball, very situational spots.

The Dior 1's have a few more details that are dope: the tongue has an embossed Dior monogram print all over it, its white so its subtle and hard to see, but sick up close. Also the upper and lower 'wings/eyelets' are detached just like Dunks', also similar to the AJ1 ROY too. Too bad I'll never own a pair lol

That five looks like an early sketch of the shoe, like a design sketch came to life. This is a popular esthetic in cosplay right now. Maybe the random circles are like text bubbles where you would describe the tech/material/features of the imagined shoe in a sketch. Maybe? That's what it kinda looks like to me

I think the off white Jordan 5 has circles on the side because the spikes on the midsole of the shoe look like teeth and the circles are like the eyes. Plus the grey colour way makes it more like a shark
