There are SOOOO many dope colorways of the Jordan 1. Honestly, I think it's the silloquet that separates it from all other competition. It's a style that will literally never get old.

I'm gonna be honest, there's something about it that Nike just got right first try all those years ago. Unless you're slapping brand designs all over it or giving it tacky colours, it's genuinely hard to make it look bad.
On top of the slapping brand designs all over it part, Virgil also nailed it with the off white chicagos. He made some risky choices in the design of it and even then it's just as perfect as the original.
I dare say that the chicago 1s are effectively the mona lisa of shoes. It's the peak of proper design.

it's an extremely limited release (700 pairs iirc) at a price of $2000, I doubt people are gonna be able to look at those in the same light as something like, say, those Chicago 1s.

Hi Seth - the reason for the circles on the AJ5 Off-Whites is the same as the punched out holes on the box of the OW Dunks - it’s part of Off-White’s Meteor Shower(?) theme where their clothing and accessories feature these punched out holes :)

List held up pretty well. Yeezy didn’t drop, the dmp didn’t do well, unc came in real extended sizes, quantum’s hype fell after the second silhouette, you loved the off whites 5s lol, Chicago 1s didn’t drop.

I have a pair of those pine green 1s. They are amazing! The quality is on POINT! 😁 I agree that the leather Nike air tab and plastic wings logo is kinda strange but after a few wears i don't pay it any attention.

The simple truth is that the Yeezy basketball sneakers were never band. The article had a sensationalized title, but if you actually read it, it says that the shoe has not been submitted to the NBA for approval and therefore could not be used last season. By this logic, Seth's Planters high tops are also "banned" by the NBA.
Then an unnamed source believed it might not pass when they actually do get submitted because of the 3M, but this at best is speculation. Not an actual ban.
