I'm just glad the AJ1 Georgetown 85s are getting some love. I was able to cop at retail and it's probably one of my favorites that's not "hyped" like the L&F and AMM4.

the AJ1 georgetowns are heavily underrated, unfortunately i overpaid when it was hyped up but no regrets bc it is def a top 5 releases of 2022 imo
100% agree with the 85 Georgetowns, they are a killer

They released with the college greys in spring and I chose they greys over Georgetown😭
No Lobsters, no turtle doves, no Off white AF1 Brooklyns. Interesting list I respect the differences in and about it.

Honestly, I'm a huge fan of the Orange Lobster dunks and I think they may be the best Lobsters yet.

Seth definitely doesn’t have a lame “run of the mill” list. The 3D printed things and the 990’s not very lame is it.
You argued that the TS1 low reverse mocha wasn't that great because it's just a different colorway yet your number 1 is basically just a repeat. Based off that logic alone, it doesn't make sense that you have the L&F's as 1. Otherwise, I love the content and appreciate the work you put out. Happy holidays.
#1 for me is AJ2 chicago. It would've been the lost and found 1s but they're such a big let down because they didn't use the '85 cut

Personally my sneaker of the year is the black supreme blazers. Super underrated call back to those OG supreme blazers.
My favorite sneakers of the year are the Fire Red 3’s, Black Canvas 4’s, and the Cherry 11’s! 🤩🍒🤙🏼

The georgetown was the first shoe since the university blue that I have wanted so much. I tried getting it on drop but couldn’t.

My top 3 that I personally own would be Tom sachs GPS, Why So Sad SB dunks, and air max 1 blue print.

I’m surprised that the Jordan 4 midnight navy didn’t make the list?
People sleeping on the AJ1 OG twist 2.0 because they released after people spent their money on the AJ1 Chicago and AJ11 cherry so they passed on these. Look at how much the 2019 twist 1.0 goes for now. I picked up the twist 2.0 today from WSS and liked them so much I purchased 2 more pairs on snkrs app after to hold. Not sure about other people’s pair but mine the grey leather area was wrinkly and buttery soft. Put grey or black jeans on with them and you’re good to go.
My SOTY has to be the New Balance ALD 650r in the white/silver color way. I’ve worn mine into the ground and I just ordered the green pair.
Also the Georgetown 1 is amazing. I rotate mine quite a bit. Also the social status penny II’s were pretty sweet. I don’t usually count retros when reflecting on SOTY, however the 97 Silver Bullet is my favorite Nike sneaker of all time. Also the NMD S1 is surprisingly amazing.
I didn’t expect Jordan 7 cardinal to be my number 1, never thought much of 7s until I got it in hands
kobe’s are top 5, a ma 4s are simply hype, should have included the union passport dunks

I only like the top 3 and wish I had been lucky to get them, but couldn’t care less about the rest. Personally for me, and my limited collection of retail only purchases (I refuse to pay resell), the J3 Fire Red is a great shoe and I would make it my favourite.
I feel like vans are underrated they can have some drip if you rock them right

Before i see the entire vídeo, I want to say my personal BEST sneaker for 2022 and, by far, even i couldn't got it in muy size, the BEST is the NEW BALANCE Bodega 9060, its just insane how good are desing and built this shoe.

I feel like people like the AJ1s just because everyone else likes it. And I'm glad it is that way because I don't have to pay insane resale on shoes I actually like since all the sheep have a propensity for hyping up the AJ1s and sleeping on the good silhouettes. It's hard for non-Americans to get collab shoes since the release is more limited outside the USA, but I still managed to get 2 Sacais on retail this year.
Love me some New Balances by themselves , but when they do collabs they just that much better 🔥🙌🏼❗️

Regarding the lv air force 1 low. It's on the list, but important to cop... Odds are, you'll never even see a real pair let alone own one. Imo, can't be on the list for that reason alone. Again imo

Chicago 1s are so overrated IMO. This shoe exemplifies what being number 1, nostalgia and storytelling. The taxis are better and the 85 high Georgetown's.

no seth you can’t put two shoes in the same spot lol .. I know both 90/60’s are fire but kinda makes no sense putting them both at #7.. I could see if you just put the jfg pack since it was 2 pairs but the jfg n bodega’s are so diff
