My new LG refrigerator gurgles like crazy--and makes several other strange noises. I.. And twice so far when I opened the door when it was gurgling the freaking thing powered itself off and back on. And since the ice cube maker is not connected and I verified it is switched off it is not the ice cube maker making the noises. I'm and old guy and all my other refrigerators never made all these crazy noises or randomly powered themselves off/on. I am beginning to get a bad feeling that my LG refrigerator is a lemon. I'm now worried--I better not have just paid $1400 for a piece of junk!

Hi, my LG fridge makes a loud single knock. I cant tell if its once an hour as it seems random. The fridge is a water and ice make which are in use. The only thing im not using is the craft icemaker. Any idea what the fridge is doing?

I have a clicking sound. It seems to be somewhat periodic but consistent everyday. I also notice ice forming in a sheet at the bottom of the freezer, and after a certain point I will see water on the floor. The website you referred to didn't really help identify the problem. Anything to point me in the right direction?

Hi, I have the case of the periodic buzzing noise caused by the ice maker because water supply is not connected. Well, I turned the ice maker off but still the noise persists!
LG GR-P157NIS - Side by Side Refrigerator with Indoor Ice Maker Buzzer Sound Mute mode Will set the buzzer/beep/error/ding/alarm sound to "off" Press and hold the "Express FRZ" button for more than 5 seconds (you will hear a beep, the final beep!), and Mute mode it active until the next reset. You can unmute with another 5 second press on the "Express FRZ" button.

@LGUSASupport i did everything. Leveled the fridge, proper distance to the Wall etc. The sound is coming from the damper, that exactly sound in the video. But you say it should only make that noise once an hour. My damper is opening and closing 15-20 times per hour. A short whirring sound 6 sec

I have a brand new LG refrigerator model LTCS20020. When the compressor is not working the fridge continuously makes a noise like a frog croaking. It is very annoying. The noise only stops when the compressor is back working again. I do not have an ice maker though there is a plug inside the freezer to put one in, but no switch to turn off.

My roughly 11 year old LG Refrigerator has started making a "baby rattle" noise. It is not consistent. It happens like every couple minutes or so. The only other thing I can come up with is that I have a cricket in the house that is making a suttle noise under the fridge, that sounds like a baby rattle. I will spend some time with the fridge tomorrow and see if I hear it. (It is at my vacay rental) Anyone have an idea?

2 months ago I bought LG Electronics 24.50 cu. ft. 3-Door French Door Refrigerator in PrintProof Stainless with Ice and Water Dispenser and Slim Door Ice Model # LRFXS2503S Crazy buzzing noise for 1 or 2 mins in every hour, I had LG technicians at home 2 times but he couldn’t find out the problem.
