Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This TH-cam channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.
If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.

I like Rick's personality and I have boundless respect for his skill. I admire that he does not edit out the "bad shots" that apparently happen to us all which allows us to realize that they DO happen to us all! It teaches us to not get "stuck in the (bad) moment" and to progress to the next shot with an open mind. I was taking a playing lesson from my Golf Coach last week and tried to apply that same calmness that Rick shows us. I had a much pleasanter, better time playing and performed better because I did not "trail the mud" from the bad shot into the next one. I have learned an invaluable psychological golf technique from him because it allows me to craft better solutions for the upcoming game rather than ruminating on a mishit I cannot change.

Now I have come along further in my development and I realize new things in the game. Funnily enough, this time I found that desastrous chip shot highly interesting, as I can so much relate to that; they seems to just happen. I goes to show that that happens to everybody once in a while and I will now have less trouble just wiping one away and focus on the next shot. Thanks so much Rick.

Such honest golf videos are very much appreciated. The viewer isn't presented with a succession of great shots, but instead a real-life mixture of good shots and (for Rick anyway) not so good ones.
I also really value the methodologies described before taking each stroke and I'm learning more each day. Many thanks.

yeah, every other aspect of his game is better than mine, but every time he gets close enough to chip I cringe... I cringe if he putts from there, and I cringe when I see his chip shot. He needs to learn those soft landing flop shots, and the slightly less lefty variations in between.

I had stopped using the line on the ball to line up my putts. I never felt confident that it was lined up correctly. I started to use my putter shaft to confirm the line is correct like you did. I went to practise putting today and I'm so happy with that tip thank Rick.

Iv watched a lot of your videos. This one by far Is the best type. I can take more away from this than any other, it’s all good doing drills in the range but on the course is best.
The poor shots most of us can relate to a lot more. Great content, really love to see another of this type.

So Rick just wanted to share with you that you got me into golf and I love it. I have played maybe 3 rounds now and It’s very fun. What made me want to tell u this is that u said always read putts off the green and the other day I was playing and I was like oh I’m 2 foot off the green imma just push it up there and then really try to make it and I managed to make that little “not matter” shot for my first birdie. Read every shot since
