I have always loved this movie... I was about 10 years old when it hit the theaters... I later had it on VHS by 1993... All of my friends loved watching this flick... "TAP TAP TAP ... It's also a sign of our unity"...
This movie is an all time favorite of me and 3 childhood friends. We found the VHS in the mid 90s, got high and had the laughs of our lives. We were not expecting one of the most brilliantly awful films of all time.
After a quick Google search, apparently 'The A-Team' came out in 1983, but who's counting? Haha! Either way, it came before this movie, so clearly the movie was inspired by 'The A-Team' or the writers were just plain lazy. ;)

We just covered this with the dudes from Podcasting After Dark for our 100th episode. Pretty neat!

I liked this movie as a late 80s preteen
'The Annihilators' looks like it inspired 'The A-Team' TV series with Vietnam vets fighting crime.
