This is where I ride every weekend so I can tell you the video does not do it justice. These are serious trails. Greatest place in the world to ride, high desert wise. I'm coming off of a 5 strait day ride there just now.
I know those trails well! Good training grounds out there. You'll have to make a trip when the weather is warmer to ride some of the Prescott National Forest trails.
Never seen you ride this kind of stuff before. Gnarly, trying not to fall down (definitely don't want to, as it is certain you will land in a cactus). Finally hear you breathing hard, too. Great video!
Kyle you need to do some enduro races Not for competition, just for the ride. I ride the TSCEC, in Texas. But there is RMEC and others all over. Its all about riding with your bro's not a big pissing contest like you would think. I really think you would enjoy it. Awesome trails there in that video!
Kyle another great ride please keep these kind of videos coming they're awesome to watch thank you for sharing this with us looking forward to this spring to going riding!!!👍👍😎😊
Good riding for being off the bike so long. I hadn’t been on a ride in a month and it was pretty apparent I was already out of riding shape! Bloody hands were cramped up for our whole morning ride! Would love to go for a ride out on those techy trails!
Awesome, was wondering when you would post your videos from Sycamore. I ride there several times a year. There are some ball busters trails out there. Too many deep ruts, for sure.
3rd day back after surgery(7months off the bike) and you killed it... those were some deep ruts and chunk rock everywhere uphill and down.. You showed me I'm out of shape!! lol
Sweet man! I'm curious and I don't think you've touched it in a prior video but how often do you have your suspension checked out? I know some rec 35-60 hours roughly but I know most never do anything to their forks or shock.
Looks like the 300 was the tool for lugging along , though I guess the 250xc would work about as well.i had a chance to ride a 14 250 xc and was very impressed.
I was wondering if you have your suspension revalved? I have the same bike and that investment is well worth the money. It helps with the rocky sections and finding traction.
I've used a wide angle action camera to film some riding I've done so I have a good understanding of how far off the camera makes it look from reality and I can tell that's some gnarly shit you rode. Love the videos man, keep up the good work 👍
Yeah, that's technical. I sound like that on all my rides! Heavy breathing! The lighting looked tough on that ride. Between the glare and the shadows, made the trail hard to see.
I've ridden these trails on a 300, 250f and 350f. Power was never the problem. It's the deep ruts, no traction and rocks everywhere. Good suspension helps more than anything.
Which would you chose for desert racing ktm 300 Xcw or ktm 500exc. I used to ride a ktm 380 Mxc geared to the moon and was always looking for another gear on top.
That has to be some of the worst soil and riding conditions Ive seen. NOT my idea of fun. OH! AND there are all those lovely cacti to catch you if you fall - GREAT!
Don't worry your not the first and you wont be the last person to get there butt kicked in the mesquite/sycamore area. And yes 30 miles of that is a lot, 15 to 20 per day is best.

Man Kyle, watching this video, I see some absolutely phenomenal line choices. Well done.

I live in Mesa, would you mind taking me on a tour of these trails?
@@JeffXstrom47 That could probably be arranged.
Me three! Also in mesa
Me four I’m out in AJ I ride the sycamore trails
This looks like Pima & Dynamite area, but that's semi restricted now. Wildcat wash ? Bartlett Dam road? I would like to know a 30mi loop also.
Never seen you ride this kind of stuff before. Gnarly, trying not to fall down (definitely don't want to, as it is certain you will land in a cactus). Finally hear you breathing hard, too. Great video!
Yeah nice terrain! It is winter time over here and I am dreaming of warmer weather !
My old stomping grounds, well done my friend!
Looks tough! You made the best of it!
Kyle you need to do some enduro races

Welcome to AZ! I've never really had any luck with trials/cheater tires here. They're great for the first ride or two, then, as stated, gone.
Good riding for being off the bike so long. I hadn’t been on a ride in a month and it was pretty apparent I was already out of riding shape! Bloody hands were cramped up for our whole morning ride! Would love to go for a ride out on those techy trails!

Looking good kyle! 7 months off is no joke
Props Kyle that is some narley shit there brother!

It sucks when is everyone there waiting for you ,they have a breather and then then then they go
Heck yeah man that’s what it’s like here in lake Havasu city just not as green lol
i shouldnt have watched this video... now i cant wait for summer. Nice video man.
Sweet man!

Have you rode up in the 4 peaks wilderness area? Some fun nasty up there!
Check out bumble bee on the I 17 it’s pretty gnarly out there
Awesome Desert Scenery! GoPro could a touch higher! I went down 4 times on this ride...well done!
Good ride, tough also. Keep it up.

Wonder how you would evaluate the AER forks after this technical ride and compare them to spring forks?
Tough looking trails. Kyle did you prefer the Xc-w gearing over the xc gearing here? Was the 300 better than the the 250 for this?
I was out of breath watching this video😂
I’m glad to see I’m not the only one that these trails turn into a windbag...
I was getting nauseas. Give me a good hare scramble over hard enduro any day of the year

That looks Fuuuuun!!
I thought I was watching a gram Jarvis video, nice ride!!!,are you glad u had a 300 and not your 250?
What kinda bikes are your buddy’s riding
Just curious
what gear are you in for most of this i kinda seems like you stick you one unless your in a mellow straight
2nd gear is best on a 300
Love ya brotha but please point that GoPro up a little more! I get dizzy watching it!
Yeah, that's technical. I sound like that on all my rides! Heavy breathing! The lighting looked tough on that ride. Between the glare and the shadows, made the trail hard to see.
WOW! There is NO rest in these trails... and if you go down you'll likely come away with a free cactus tattoo!
Did you find that the 300 helped out with this trail or would the 250 have been the same or better?
I've ridden these trails on a 300, 250f and 350f. Power was never the problem. It's the deep ruts, no traction and rocks everywhere. Good suspension helps more than anything.
skill, momentum and commitment to lines are whats needed in this area.
Born and raised in Scottsdale and I have not a clue where this is, what a shame.
Wild cat ohv on the way to Bartlett like 13 or 15 miles from the river
I know it’s a year later but this is not wildcat these trails are out of mesquite wash off the 87
cardio done for the month
How’d the bike perform?
That trail does not look fun at all?
Would love to see the video of you changing a tire in a hotel parking lot
What, are you guys the ones that make trails for us??? lol
Maxis TrailMaxx tires would have done well on that trail....
now try doing those same trails with a 150 sx
Which would you chose for desert racing ktm 300 Xcw or ktm 500exc. I used to ride a ktm 380 Mxc geared to the moon and was always looking for another gear on top.
500 for continuous fast pace riding, 300 for more slow technical trails.
I’d love to have one of those bikes. 😢
Must be a masochist to enjoy that kind of riding
This is really nasty, nice ride
That has to be some of the worst soil and riding conditions Ive seen. NOT my idea of fun.
OH! AND there are all those lovely cacti to catch you if you fall - GREAT!
You should have brought an xtrainer. Not that it's any better but it's at least 30 lbs lighter. Lol
You need a yz250x budd
