    Long time fan. I would love to see how to properly tape off a vehicle before polishing. 👍

    If you could do a video where you go over how to fix small rock chips on hood that would be a amazing, using the oem paints and what tools we need to do a no complicated rock chip repair. I have watched rock chip repair fixes that try to make it perfect. i dont need it perfect i just need to fix the rock chip so its less noticeable. Thank You!

    Hey brother. A beginner here. I did buy the 15 millimeter throw rupees. So happy you are saying that we will have great success with something like the 3D two-in-one cut and polish

    Good advice. A one step polish is what most customers will be looking for - so that is really the cornerstone of paint correction. By the time you are getting requests for 2 and 3 step jobs (because your reputationis growing) you will be familiar with your equipment and ready for more advanced situations.
    Keep up the good work 💪

    I agree, I keep with the same mentality. Keep it simple. Do what works for u and make a system that works for you. I personally like the compounds from meguiar’s pro speed line but the polishes from Adam’s. I have also had my Adam’s SK 15mm for 5yrs with no issues. I actually just bought the SK Pro 15 mm because I need another machine and something a little better. But I deff agree keeping it simple. Start small with the basics and Find Your GROOVE lol

    Hey Oscar
    I want to ceramic coat my dads car for fathers day. I do have experience with it from the past. However he drives everywhere and the most he can give me is two days. And this is not guaranteed he wont need to go somewhere. How would i correct and coat in this time period where he might need to take the car for a short trip? Thanks

    • @chrisgorgol9442
      @chrisgorgol9442 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have experience you can do everything in 7 hours by yourself or 4-5 hours with two people

    • @chrisgorgol9442
      @chrisgorgol9442 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      ONR rinseless wash, clay bar with ONR, Panel prep vehicle, one-step polish on a 50/50 Eurofiber pad with your favorite ceramic primer polish. Then just light mist of ipa in a microfiber and go over car once more then coat

    Thank you for this… I needed something like this. Something slower with newbie terminology. One question I have is: every time you polish a vehicle you need to clay it first? Also, can I clay my car one day and work on the polishing for the next two weeks without needing to clay every time I work on it?

    • @nextgenpotato4525
      @nextgenpotato4525 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      theres a common misconception when it comes to claying. think of it as the emergency room. we all dont want to go there, but its a last resort that can save us. same thing with clay, if the car doesn't need it, don't clay it! it's that simple. Now you may ask how do I know if it needs claying? Simply run your hand over a section after its been washed properly. Does it feel gritty? Does the paint feel like sandpaper with particles on it that are catching your hand? If so, definitely clay, even if your hand is getting caught a little bit. If it feels smooth and your hand does not get caught, then dont clay.

    • @nextgenpotato4525
      @nextgenpotato4525 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the underlying reason you dont want to clay unless the car absolutely needs it is because claying will induce alot of marring and scratches as it is a mechanical decontamination. The marring and scratches will be removed only through polishing. You don't want to create extra work for yourself that needs to be done later on.

    Dude I work at a body shop buffing and polishing cars for a living 10 hours for a 3 step correction. Never have i seen it take that long. How many years experience do you have on paint care?? Lmao

      Freddy, if you work at a body shop and not a Detailing business and can bust out a 3 stage correction and have the vehicle back to your client in under 10 hrs, then the credit goes to the dudes in your paint booth and not you! Unless you are doing a 3 stage correction on a smart car! Lol
