It's got good replay value, thanks to the Xenomorph's AI. And the graphics and animations have aged really well👍 Yup. Creative Assembly did a really good job on this one. It's a masterpiece! like you said🙂
Just finished the game on hard mode... The best Alien game out there and one of the best horror games... The music and sound effects always giving me chills
Right on! A longer video! Gonna have a smoke and coffee, sit back and enjoy this now! @3:08 - the AI is cheating goddammit! You had him DEAD TO RIGHTS! He SHOULD have fled! @7:06 - his f*ckin TAIL is too long!! @20:33 - SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME! Awesome video man! I really enjoyed seeing you solve the riddles of how to pass this area! Cheers Demon!
@3:08 - To be fair, I was pretty darn close to him, within grabbing range. I don't think there was much I could have done, being trapped in that little elevator. Though in hindsight, I shouldn't have fired. But I panicked, haha😅 He prolly would have seen me anyway. @7:06 - I know right?? hahaha Important life lessons learned: 1. Don't pee in the wind and 2. Don't step on a xenomorph's tail😄 @20:33 - Haha. Yeah that one doesn't give you much time to react when you're not expecting it. I bet it got everyone their first time around😏 Thanks so much for the compliment Tenshi! Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, it was really fun playing it, and trying to figure out how to get through it. @15:29 I got startled when I threw the smoke grenade. I had no idea that they made such a loud bang! (I never used a smoke grenade before), and then I laughed when it scared the shit out of the security guard😄 My favourite part is when the Alien came looking for me in the smoke. I was 99% sure I was a goner. And then when I pulled out my flamethrower in panic I was 100% sure I was dead! .... But he didn't see me!😃
@@514demon That was DEFINITELY the most epic scene to me as well, with him coming through the smoke, looking for you - it was definitely scary as hell there! I liked that you were ready with the flamethrower - but didn't give away your position, ...I recall after you made it through the door-lock I actually breathed a sigh of relief like "OH THANK GOD, he made it!"
@Tenshi-Quinn Haha😄 I thought he was gonna see the light from the flamethrower, that's why I was thinking like "shit, I'm dead, I shouldn't have done that". 'Cause he was like *so so* close to me. I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger, because he prolly would have grabbed me before I had enough time to burn him into retreating
@chrisgamingzone502 Thank you Chris!!! Yeah I noticed you sub'd me a few days ago because of the circular icon next to your name. I sub'd you right back. Both you and Tenshi have that icon. I'm gonna see if I could enable it too
I saw a comment on other videos that if your framerate is over 100, then sounds glitch out like that. (How you don't hear any sound when it kills you.)
Yeah, I know. Also, Amanda is much more quiet during gameplay. I noticed in other people's videos that she reacts vocally sometimes when she spots the Alien. I'm gonna have to lower my framerate next time I play.
@@AlienGenotype Yeah, I'll probably do that next time. It's a shame because it's the only game on which my computer can keep a steady 165 FPS, which provides such a beautifully smooth and immersive experience! But, at the same time, the occasional glitches can break said immersion, so... Yeah, I think I'll cap it at 99, or 105, or whatever it is.
It is very immersive! And faithful to the original movies. And if I’m not mistaken, the Alien AI and ship AI operate independently (correct me if I’m wrong) - but yes, the AI is outstanding.
There's *so* much to like about it! But if I had to pick just one thing, it'd probably be the "cat & mouse" aspect of the game. It's just so fun to play against the Alien!
@HMMurdock220 I'm not sure what you mean by "ship AI", but I know the space station has a central AI that controls all the Androids, as per the story. I'm not sure if it's a real AI controlling all the Androids though. I think the Androids may simply be separate enemies with their own basic AI 🤷♂️ I know there's a "Game Master" AI (for lack of a better term) which operates independently of the Alien's AI, and it will sometimes give hints to the Alien if it gets too far off course from the player.
The Alien AI has 2 brains. The first brain always knows where the player is at all times and the 2nd brain gets fed hints leading to your location. If you use lockers or under the table hiding spots often, the alien will search them more often. If you use flares or noise makers or whatever too often, the alien will show interest at first for longer times, but eventually grow to ignore them.
cool to see pepole still playing this masterpiece 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
