Almost 10 years later and it still has a strong following! I'm really surprised some rich, corporate game publisher hasn't bought the rights to make a sequel yet... Maybe they will one day. It seems like it would be a real money maker.
I think what happens is that the vents make noise when they open so he hears that. In nightmare mode you cant even walk over an object because it will hear it and come looking for you.
Hm. I always thought all doors and vent hatches were silent to the Alien. I've never noticed it react to those sounds at all... But, your explanation is the only thing that makes sense so far
He was NOT happy to see you.. ..but I think what happened is you stayed in the vent too long. In Nightmare mode, if you stay in the vent for a x amount of time, the game automatically tells the Alien where you are and he comes running after you.
It's most scary when you first play the game. But the more you play it, the less scared you get. In my experience, it was more scary trying to convince myself to play it again than it was actually playing it! In the end, I'm so glad I decided to play it again. Now it's more fun than scary (but still scary🙂)
I don’t know how I got the trophy “Complete the game without dying” cause I’m pretty sure that I played the game and did NO SUCH THING. But I’m not complaining, it’s a very cool trophy to have.
@llukandane3337 I just got a trophy for "Navigate Reactor Maintenance without dying", and yeah, I died *lots* of times😄 Are you playing the PC version of the game? I am. And I know it's buggy if you're playing with a frame rate well above 60 FPS, which I'm doing. It's buggy sometimes, but not all the time. I'll take the bugs in exchange for high frame rate smoothness👍
Nah, the ps4 version, I had it on my birthday back in 2020, on my channel, there’s actually a moment where the alien didn’t see me because I leaned into a table, I was in utter shock@@514demon

Completed the game once and never came back.

Aliens: Decent is good, real good, but still does not hold a candle to this game.
