I don't really know why no publisher has picked up the license for it yet... Despite Alien: Isolation being a commercial success, I know it didn't meet Sega's financial expectations... So maybe that has something to do with it🤷♂️ Alien: Isolation 2 might be too high of a financial risk for publishers. Despite all that, I would really like to see a sequel, but I'm also afraid to be majorly disappointed by it. Alien: Isolation raised the bar really high.

I very much agree that even if it is officially announced, I won't get my hopes up too much, because I really don't trust the AAA industry. But what I really mean, is that I hate the corporate gaming industry. Despite that, I can't think of another AAA title I've enjoyed, appreciated and respected as much as I did (and still do) Alien: Isolation. They did such a phenomenal job on it! It really does feel like a labour of love, and not just another typical, messy, bureaucratic rush job. It's not perfect. It does have its flaws and bugs, but man, everything they got right more than makes up for it! I ❤ Alien: Isolation! haha😊

For example currently I'm kind of addicted to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which incidentally also got screwed over by IGN with only 6/10 score, because the game has no wokeness and the mainstream media activists can't allow that. This is actually why I can't stand western AAA games anymore, it's all made for ESG scores and not to be a good experience. Alien: Isolation was thankfully made before ESG was a thing, but even then it was a miracle that such a game was made with this kind of budget. The success of Amnesia: The Dark Descent was probably the only reason why this got greenlit. Anyway, it's obvious the devs put so much passion and care into the game, something that you almost never see from western AAA studios.

What I didn't take into account is how long it takes to press said button and how long it takes for the door to close! Luckily, the Alien gave up as soon as it saw the door starting to close. It could have gotten me for sure, if it wanted to. 😦

OMG! This is definitely the game that scared me the most in my life. I cannot avoid just looking at some gameplay and feel stressed. I've been wanting to play it again, but my heart doesn't let me. Great survival instincts there!

I can tell you from experience, it's a lot less comfortable *thinking* about playing, than it is actually playing. You'll see, once you start playing, it ain't nearly as bad as you thought it'd be! And remember, you don't encounter the Alien right away, so the first 2, 3, 4 hours (depending on how fast you play) are quite relaxing. So stop torturing yourself and get back in there!!! 😊
@@514demon save states would ruin this particular game whereby instead you rely on getting to the next save point and this creates tension. The argument for not having to use them would go out of the window for many with the save states obviously being abused to create an entirely different experience which wouldn't involve tension

Haha, the reason it looks like Ripley is panicking is because the guy controlling her was in fact panicking!😅 -No, I wasn't trying to get any trophies. I just have a habit of trying to explore every fork in the road before going to the main objective.
It's not as bad as you think it'll be. The hardest part is actually playing it; is starting a new game. And you already did that, so... just enjoy the ride!!😊

You clearly dont have much experience in this game, if u dont know what sound is for vents and whats not.. Im also wondering how people even gets alien in these certain spots, do they make too much noise or what? Even its nightmare i did not get on that difficulty alien at this spot, maybe im just so stealthy.. I would understand it if you would speedrun cuz u really need to run certain spots atleast and it attracts alien, but ur walking..
@@514demon Yeah i wish i was playing it first time, when you know everything its not that fun anymore, even tho people say alien is random, its not that random in the end, you can predict where it is when it is and how it try to "trick" you think he will be gone now, but as experienced as im it never catch me :D Not even on hardest difficulty, its actually only difficulty people should play this anyways no matter if they just starting :D

It's like getting into a pool. It feels cold and unpleasant at first, but then you quickly adjust and really enjoy it!
