Me too, 5 secs in and I knew it was going to be a hate fest, with all the one direction puns and what not! First time here and he is so loud, speaking while playing the music like a dingy club dj but what do I know? I am here for Louis and that’s the same way I will leave and never be back. Sorry Troy, but it feels like you judged the album as a classic pop album, which it is not. It’s more of a funky rock album and that’s also what Louis wanted to do. This album is fucking great and I mean it is already a number one album in the UK. Also Louis has developed so much since walls and this album is 100% him. He’s a wonderful singer and a brilliant songwriter and I’m so happy that a lot of people have a different opinion on the album than you, because it is a masterpiece from start to finish.

I really need to say this Troy, I was waiting so much for your reaction and I completely understand how your opinion is different from his actual fans, but you were really off on this one. You kept expecting a pop album like Harry’s house and midnights but this was not Louis’ intention for this one. If you had took time to watch a couple of interviews for the release of the album, you would understand how he felt like walls was too open on his relationships and feelings and how he wanted to keep it open for interpretation for this album. He reached for a more British punk pop rock, and throughout your video you were always expecting a pop mainstream album, but you should’ve got the message throughout the album. Abut the lyrics and how you felt like they were not as deep as you were expecting, he again was reaching for a new visual on this one, if you want deep lyrics go listen to Adele for the love of god. u talked also about why did he “feel lucky to have gotten fame from 1d” is completely outreached and it shows how you have no idea what you’re talking about. Louis always since day 1 felt like he was the least interesting and talented in the band, so he felt “lucky” to have been giving a chance to be in the band. He was really insecure so the lyric saying “lucky again” is mainly that he is lucky again to have the chance to perform and show his love for music, he has been saying that for ages. The vibe of this video was honestly really negative and weird, not like your normal reviews, maybe you shouldn’t have posted the video if you’re not ready to get these kind of comments. Next time you’re gonna listen to an album, make sure you know the backstory of the artist before you say shit like that. Also, remember, if it’s a banger, it was probably written by Louis Tomlinson😜😜. Last of all, he wrote most of the songs in 1d, that’s why you’re getting the resemblance;)

usually i agree with troy like always on his opinions on music and stuff but the negative reaction to this took me by surprise, i have had it on repeat since it dropped. nothing against troy, was just so weird to feel so completely different about an album edit: everyone is of course entitled to their own opinions, and if this is how troy feels that’s valid

Walls was very simple and had some fillers and Louis wasn't that confident. This album has no fillers, Louis vocals have gotten better, he's much more confident, and every song has a different vibe/sound. I honestly think Troy is still mad about what happened months ago and is trying to take it out on Louis by mocking this album, what happened months ago was not Louis fault but I'm getting that vibe from him.

Why is the only song that has no lyrical substance his favorite song? 🤦🏽♀️ there is no way that this albums wasn’t a departure or evolution from the first album. It’s way more rock, alternative and indie which is the sound he wants to move into, and the lyrics are just as honest and vulnerable as the first album.

I am not even gonna be bitter about it. I somehow had a feeling u are gonna mock him. It's ok to not like an album because we are all here for an honest reaction. But something about this doesn't sit right with me. I always say I'll take a bullet for Louis and this video made me realise how true that is. Every joke and every negative comment all felt like they come from a preconceived notion. It's not easy to shift genres and I respect Louis for doing that he could have easily stick to the mainstream pop formula but he chose to be authentic and I respect that. This album is a masterpiece and will stand by that till my last breath.

Faith in the future was never supposed to be a pop album. This is the music he wants to make and he has definitely found his sound. Everyone has different taste in music, and I love your reactions so I definitely expected you to love this album. And it’s a lyrical masterpiece, he has evolved so much since walls and his vocal is absolutely amazing. I respect your opinion but this video is all negativity, makes me really sad to see.
As a Louis fan, I'm really protective of him. He has gone through way to much. Loosing his mother and then sister. With the band taking hiatus, everything has been so much for him. Plus, people really have negative prenotion of him without any reason, not realizing how amazing and unproblematic he is. Plus, his music is catered more to his fans that like the charts/trends. But when new people listen to his music, they will most likely love it. He has something for everyone. He is the epitome of for the fans
i personally really love watching troy react to things, his energy and honest opinions are something i have always respected. i thought he would enjoy this album more than he did, and it’s completely fine that he didn’t, i just can’t get behind the disrespect and mockery that went on throughout this reaction. i’ve watched videos of him reacting to albums he didn’t end up liking, and while i would disagree with him, i never lost the respect i felt towards him. it’s one thing to not like a song or an album, and to give your opinion and reasoning, but it’s a completely different thing to mock/make fun of the artist who made those things. it almost felt like he didn’t like the album/songs before even listening to them, and i can’t begin to understand why. louis himself hasn’t done anything to earn that. and while yes, one persons negative opinion on an album wont necessarily hurt the artist, (and isn’t technically a big deal) troy does have a large following, knows a lot of people watch his videos, and that many people take his opinion into consideration when making their own. there are MANY better ways to say you don’t like an album then to put down the artist. another thing i didn’t agree with was how he was making fun of people who actually DID like the album, if he wants us to respect his opinion, he needs respect ours in return. i’ve been sad when he hasn’t liked albums in the past, but none of them have ever made me mad at him for it. for example, lover is one of my favorite taylor swift albums, but you didn’t see me commenting on that video. i don’t know if i will ever understand why he was so MEAN to louis, and disrespectful to his work, but i hope he can learn better ways to be honest about how he feels when he doesn’t like things. the title on this video being what it is also makes me angry, because with having a large following and his videos getting “clout” or whatever you want to call it, people see these things, and in the end it CAN hurt an artist because other people will have their own preconceived notions before listening to the album. im not sure why he went into this reaction with such negative energy, and maybe some weird expectations, but it felt like he didn’t even give it a chance. im just so disappointed in this whole thing, and i hope he learns from his mistakes. he also can’t make reactions like this and NOT expect people to reply with angry comments. we’re not mad about his opinion, we’re mad at the way he stated his opinion, two completely different things. now im not going to unsubscribe from him right now or anything, mostly with hope that he SINCERELY apologizes for why he was rude to louis and his fans. if he isn’t going to be sincere i don’t wanna see it. that’s all i have to say, probably doesn’t make much sense, but i did feel like i had to say it. i loved the album, and think he evolved a TON from walls. i also (usually) love troy and his reactions, but u know. have a good day!!

It’s not a pop album! It’s doesn’t have trendy sounds! It’s not for tiktok and radios!! This is what he always wanted to make and this is absolutely fits him and his voice so well!! Louis always said that he doesn’t want to make something for others! He even said himself that if he wanted to make number one songs for the chart, he could do it well because he has already done it many times already! But he doesn't want to make something he doesn't like! ( Although this album became number one😂)
I don't find it boring at all, i think is such a great album. He evolved a lot from walls. I guess it depends on your text in music but i feel your overhating it, the lyrics are quite interesting and smart and the production is actually good. Don't like the negative energy in this video tbh
As much as I liked Walls, this album is absolutely way better. This sound fits him so well. I also think this album creates way more energy live (based on my experiences seeing him). But if you're not really into britpop/indie rock then I could see how it might not be for you.
Agree with you! I’m from USA but I do listen to a lot of Brit pop punk/alt/rock and it is different from rock in the states. So if you don’t listen to the bands Louis likes I can see how you would have that opinion as Troy. Anyway I LOVE FITF❤️
IK i LOVE that one and he was mocking its for no reason. I guarantee if it was the same exact song but with Taylor Swift or Harry Styles singing it he would've been dancing around saying it was a bop, but since it's Louis all of a sudden it's "corny"

He absolutely loved walls and was super pumped throughout the reaction and said a lot of good things and was overall very excited, appreciative and supportive not just to the music but to louis as an artist too. He had a nice energy to him and overall seemed like he was actually really interested unlike in this one where it seems like he just has an opinion even before listening and it just seems like he’s holding a grudge again louis for idk what This was so uncountable to watch

However, I was never so uncomfortable watching a reaction, first, it seems that you already had a biased opinion, the title to call attention did not please me and besides, I thought that several times you were disrespectful to several artists involved in this album, in addition to the Louis, and with people who have an accent. Lowkey think its crazy that tony was jamming out to this entire album just at the end to say that its no different from walls and he still dosent feel like lou has a direction. Lou said in interview that he did want something entirely different from walls, and wanted something more open for interpretation but also very live friendly bc with walls he felt like the songs didnt match the vibe of the concert. I think he really met this goal already from the few songs he has played live you can see how much of an amazing concert banger this album is. As far as a direction goes its going to take time for anyone to figure out where they want to go with there music and i think this was huge step in deciding what lou wants his music to be. It felt very authentic to him if you have ever seen how he interacts and his personality. Very disappointed in this reaction you where straight up mocking his music and wanted us to agree with you on it, felt very rude next time just say you don’t like it no need to belittle the artist and there music.
i love Troy and i was sooo flipping excited to see that he'd finally made a reaction video to FITF but this reaction vid was just not it for me, and for a couple of reasons. 1) it honestly felt like he had a preconceived notion about the album solely based on walls, and louis's contribution to 1D music. Keep in mind that walls being his debut album (nobody's debut album is PERFECT!!) had areas that could've been made better and don't even get me started about 1D music, as much as i LOVE LOVE LOVE them, none of them were given creative freedom, they were treated as money minting robots that were expected to release pop music targetted towards a younger audience in a span of one year whilst touring etc etc, (don't even get me started, that's an argument for another day) 2. one more thing is that, Troy tends to be more critical of artists who have a smaller fan base compared to other mainstream artists, all my love to harry and taylor but Troy wouldn't have been so harsh and critical of the music they make because he lowkey doesn't wanna get get attacked by their fanbases (i myself am a fan of both these artists and I've seen other fans become extremely hostile and unnecessarily violent towards people that do not share the same views as they do about the respective artists) I get that he might be trying to save his skin but come on man, you have to be fair and just. I found a similar pattern with Charlie Puth's new album as well, Troy just didn't criticise jungkook's performance even though both Charlie and jungkook sang the exact same lines in the exact same melody, because he was scared of the fans,,,maybe? it's just a theory. 3. I will never. EVER. FOR ANY REASON. tolerate any kind of mockery or undermining of the boys's work. I just will not take it, not liking the kind of music they make is a completely different thing but making fun of the artist without taking into the account the time, effort and talent that they've put into making said music. louis has been through SO DAMN MUCH and despite not being recognised and given "pop star status" by the general public, he's come out of his comfort zone and made music that HE wrote, HE put together and HE performed. Troy, i think you're a really fun and respectful person but i hope you're more sensitive in your future videos! :) cheers!

I listened to this album EVERYDAY since it was out. I personally don't find the production boring, yes it's different, yes it's something you should dive into to, but it's exactly what feels right to me. And moreover it feels a lot like LOUIS. But everyone can have their own opinion, mine is that this is the best solo album from the boys
I personally loved the album and would have thought you would love it too. I think you need to listen too it more. The difference between walls and faith in the future is huge. Lyrically, vocally and production wise it is completely different and he has evolved so much. Would have loved that you recognised that. I personally miss his bridge game. On walls the bridges were just amazing, faith in the future just has a few of those amazing bridges. I would wish for you to not be as negative. Even if you don’t like it, the video just has such a negative energy. I’m not used to that with your videos. i was waiting for you to post your reaction to Faith In The Future because you’re always so excited only to be super disappointed by how negative you were. it feels like you went into this reaction KNOWING you were going to be mean regardless of what the album sounded like. how you feel about the album is completely down to you but i just can’t shake the negativity and sarcasm you brought to this reaction. I thought FOR SURE he wouldn't be brave enough to post this. I was on the live and it's the only negative review I've seen of this album. I loved it from the first time I heard it, and even then it's still growing on me with each listen. Louis did amazing and it's definitely an album that will age well.
I always thought that louis would be the band member of 1D to move into rock/alternative/indie because it genuinely fits him, he carried one direction with the song writing and a majority of what made their music great and idk I think that a lot of these songs aren’t pop or anything like that and I think that the music (guitars, bass etc) itself was a speaker of the different direction he wants to take. as a fan who supports all of them I will say I didn’t listen to walls much because it didn’t fit my personal listening sense but this album has a lot to appreciate if you look for it. all I know is that these songs are definitely gonna go crazy during live shows and he did say that he wanted to get away with as much pop punk as he could and I think he definitely did that very well it just doesn’t fit your style of music you like i’d say but I don’t think he was trying to go for a traditional kind of album with the adlibs and such
So anyhow, HUGE KUDOS to Louis for having his best success so far with his sophomore album FITF. It is an amazing album, his best yet, and has definitely taken huge steps to develop his sound.
I already knew you would not vibe, especially since I have heard your opinions on arctic monkeys and other artists who Louis loves and takes inspiration from.I definitely don't mind when anybody thinks they genuinely don't feel the music of an artist, it is personal taste. But hearing this album, it is obvious what direction he is going with the kind of music, especially since he said silver tongues is Louis's personal fav. And it is also evident you don't much like the genre he is going for. For me, faith in the future, is much much better than walls.

this album was like a huge genre shift from walls, so to hear you say that there's no real growth is insane. lyrically he has maintained his vulnerability but the hope in this album shines through as the major thing tying the album together, as evident by the album name too. everyone has their preferences but it's insane to me that you didn't enjoy silver tongues when it's such a bop. it felt like you went in with some preconceived notions about how you thought the album would sound and what genre it would fit and you sort of stuck to that throughout the video. also lowkey felt like a mockery of louis at times. All I can say is that I’ve watched most of your previous reactions and you approached this album with lots of judgement from the very start.. and it proved me right while i was getting through the whole video. I didn’t like Troy’s energy on this video. Yo who paid this man for this review. Honestly from the first few seconds of the video you can tell something was off it just seemed so disingenuous. Even while he was basically explaining why he wasn't going to like the album I still had hopes because his track record has been good even not liking songs its never been him just shitting on the artist like he is now. i feel like everyone expects louis to pull off a harry tbh and that´s just not his style, its always the "he never truly evolved since 1D" and its so definitely not true. 1D's sounds were heavily influenced by Louis and it shows, and honestly slay. Faith in the Future was surprising to me because it also shows that he is actually evolving and experimenting a lot! so this reaction was kinda dissapointing.
this album may definitely come across as a grower. the sound departure from walls is actually major if you listen to both albums back to back; first record being more ballady and slow tempo; also you get the idea of what the album is with reading what Louis said about it - it's all about live shows! thus why big emphasis on instrumentals. she's beauty will sound massive btw Blake explained it quite well :)

I think you really do great reviews, but I have to say I disagree with you. I think Louis is straying away from the pop tone, and I think you judged it as one when it is not. I loved this album personally, I have had it on repeat every day since it came out. I think he has evolved so much from walls. This is personally such a phenomal album to me from his improvement in his vocals, production, music, and just everything. But everyone has different opinions, so I get it just disagree. Also, Louis wrote most of the 1D songs especially the bangers, so that is why you can hear the 1D influence because he wrote most of all of them. I also feel like if you heard “silver tounges” you would love it if it was a 1D song. I am watching your video more currently and it is aggravating me how you are being pretty rude. Um okay so i have some thoughts here, but let me just say i do no intend to bash you im just offended FOR Louis at this point 1) the mockery was not needed for an honest review. You made fun of his accent saying that you couldnt understand what he was saying. Which is understandable but not when you literally have the lyrics on the screen in front of you. 2) I also feel that in past reviews of albums or songs that you didnt like you would simply say something like "this part is a little repetitive" or "im not sure i love this part" - which u did say at times in this video but my problem with it started when u were straight up mocking the melodies and like honking the lyrics out as if you werent jammimg to it the first time around, most song's keep the same melodies and rythms throughout choruses. Sorry Troy, but it feels like you judged the album as a classic pop album, which it is not. It’s more of a funky rock album and that’s also what Louis wanted to do. This album is fucking great and I mean it is already a number one album in the UK. Also Louis has developed so much since walls and this album is 100% him. I really need to say this Troy, I was waiting so much for your reaction and I completely understand how your opinion is different from his actual fans, but you were really off on this one. You kept expecting a pop album like Harry’s house and midnights but this was not Louis’ intention for this one. If you had took time to watch a couple of interviews for the release of the album, you would understand how he felt like walls was too open on his relationships and feelings and how he wanted to keep it open for interpretation for this album. He reached for a more British punk pop rock, and throughout your video you were always expecting a pop mainstream album, but you should’ve got the message throughout the album. Abut the lyrics and how you felt like they were not as deep as you were expecting, he again was reaching for a new visual on this one, if you want deep lyrics go listen to Adele for the love of god. u talked also about why did he “feel lucky to have gotten fame from 1d” is completely outreached and it shows how you have no idea what you’re talking about. Louis always since day 1 felt like he was the least interesting and talented in the band, so he felt “lucky” to have been giving a chance to be in the band. He was really insecure so the lyric saying “lucky again” is mainly that he is lucky again to have the chance to perform and show his love for music, he has been saying that for ages. The vibe of this video was honestly really negative and weird, not like your normal reviews, maybe you shouldn’t have posted the video if you’re not ready to get these kind of comments. Next time you’re gonna listen to an album, make sure you know the backstory of the artist before you say shit like that. I am not even gonna be bitter about it. I somehow had a feeling u are gonna mock him. It's ok to not like an album because we are all here for an honest reaction. But something about this doesn't sit right with me. I always say I'll take a bullet for Louis and this video made me realise how true that is. Every joke and every negative comment all felt like they come from a preconceived notion. It's not easy to shift genres and I respect Louis for doing that he could have easily stick to the mainstream pop formula but he chose to be authentic and I respect that. This album is a masterpiece and will stand by that till my last breath.

Faith in the future was never supposed to be a pop album. This is the music he wants to make and he has definitely found his sound. Everyone has different taste in music, and I love your reactions so I definitely expected you to love this album. As a Louis fan, I'm really protective of him. He has gone through way to much. Loosing his mother and then sister. With the band taking hiatus, everything has been so much for him. Plus, people really have negative prenotion of him without any reason, not realizing how amazing and unproblematic he is. Plus, his music is catered more to his fans that like the charts/trends. But when new people listen to his music, they will most likely love it. He has something for everyone. He is the epitome of for the fans

i personally really love watching troy react to things, his energy and honest opinions are something i have always respected. i thought he would enjoy this album more than he did, and it’s completely fine that he didn’t, i just can’t get behind the disrespect and mockery that went on throughout this reaction.
i’ve watched videos of him reacting to albums he didn’t end up liking, and while i would disagree with him, i never lost the respect i felt towards him. it’s one thing to not like a song or an album, and to give your opinion and reasoning, but it’s a completely different thing to mock/make fun of the artist who made those things. it almost felt like he didn’t like the album/songs before even listening to them, and i can’t begin to understand why. louis himself hasn’t done anything to earn that.
and while yes, one persons negative opinion on an album wont necessarily hurt the artist, (and isn’t technically a big deal) troy does have a large following, knows a lot of people watch his videos, and that many people take his opinion into consideration when making their own. there are MANY better ways to say you don’t like an album then to put down the artist.
another thing i didn’t agree with was how he was making fun of people who actually DID like the album, if he wants us to respect his opinion, he needs respect ours in return. i’ve been sad when he hasn’t liked albums in the past, but none of them have ever made me mad at him for it. for example, lover is one of my favorite taylor swift albums, but you didn’t see me commenting on that video.
i don’t know if i will ever understand why he was so MEAN to louis, and disrespectful to his work, but i hope he can learn better ways to be honest about how he feels when he doesn’t like things.

I watched other reaction videos, they didn't always like every song, understandably, but I didn't see any disrespect toward Louis. I unsubscribed, not because you didn't like the album, but because there are different ways of saying things. literally speechless about your take. this album is banger after banger. and louis has stayed multiple times that he is incredibly proud of himself for taking the direction he did for this album. he felt he played it safe with "walls" bc he was coming out of one direction. but now he's making the music he really wants to make and feels like this better defines him as an artist. as you said in the video "he's successful, so what is one person on the internet", but, just my thoughts.
I have seen your reaction for Walls album several times and now, the new album...what?? When Louis has progressed so much. Vocal, music, lyrics are amazing. I was really surprised for this reaction. When everyone talks about the beauty of this album and all the songs.
Lowkey think its crazy that tony was jamming out to this entire album just at the end to say that its no different from walls and he still dosent feel like lou has a direction. Lou said in interview that he did want something entirely different from walls, and wanted something more open for interpretation but also very live friendly bc with walls he felt like the songs didnt match the vibe of the concert. I think he really met this goal already from the few songs he has played live you can see how much of an amazing concert banger this album is. As far as a direction goes its going to take time for anyone to figure out where they want to go with there music and i think this was huge step in deciding what lou wants his music to be. It felt very authentic to him if you have ever seen how he interacts and his personality. Very disappointed in this reaction you where straight up mocking his music and wanted us to agree with you on it, felt very rude next time just say you don’t like it no need to belittle the artist and there music.
i love Troy and i was sooo flipping excited to see that he'd finally made a reaction video to FITF but this reaction vid was just not it for me, and for a couple of reasons.
1) it honestly felt like he had a preconceived notion about the album solely based on walls, and louis's contribution to 1D music. Keep in mind that walls being his debut album (nobody's debut album is PERFECT!!) had areas that could've been made better and don't even get me started about 1D music, as much as i LOVE LOVE LOVE them, none of them were given creative freedom, they were treated as money minting robots that were expected to release pop music targetted towards a younger audience in a span of one year whilst touring etc
etc, (don't even get me started, that's an argument for another day)
2. one more thing is that, Troy tends to be more critical of artists who have a smaller fan base compared to other mainstream artists, all my
love to harry and taylor but Troy wouldn't have been so harsh and critical of the music they make because he lowkey doesn't wanna get
get attacked by their fanbases (i myself am a fan of both these artists and I've seen other fans become extremely hostile and unnecessarily

louis has been through SO DAMN MUCH and despite not being recognised and given "pop star status" by the general public, he's
come out of his comfort zone and made music that HE wrote, HE put together and HE performed.

I listened to this album EVERYDAY since it was out. I personally don't find the production boring, yes it's different, yes it's something you should dive into to, but it's exactly what feels right to me. And moreover it feels a lot like LOUIS. But everyone can have their own opinion, mine is that this is the best solo album from the boys

The difference between walls and faith in the future is huge. Lyrically, vocally and production wise it is completely different and he has evolved so much. Would have loved that you recognised that.
I personally miss his bridge game. On walls the bridges were just amazing, faith in the future just has a few of those amazing bridges.

I thought FOR SURE he wouldn't be brave enough to post this. I was on the live and it's the only negative review I've seen of this album. I loved it from the first time I heard it, and even then it's still growing on me with each listen. Louis did amazing and it's definitely an album that will age well.

I always thought that louis would be the band member of 1D to move into rock/alternative/indie because it genuinely fits him, he carried one direction with the song writing and a majority of what made their music great and idk I think that a lot of these songs aren’t pop or anything like that and I think that the music (guitars, bass etc) itself was a speaker of the different direction he wants to take. as a fan who supports all of them I will say I didn’t listen to walls much because it didn’t fit my personal listening sense but this album has a lot to appreciate if you look for it. all I know is that these songs are definitely gonna go crazy during live shows and
he did say that he wanted to get away with as much pop punk as he could and I think he definitely did that very well it just doesn’t fit your style of music you like i’d say but I don’t think he was trying to go for a traditional kind of album with the adlibs and such

this album was like a huge genre shift from walls, so to hear you say that there's no real growth is insane. lyrically he has maintained his vulnerability but the hope in this album shines through as the major thing tying the album together, as evident by the album name too. everyone has their preferences but it's insane to me that you didn't enjoy silver tongues when it's such a bop. it felt like you went in with some preconceived notions about how you thought the album would sound and what genre it would fit and you sort of stuck to that throughout the video. also lowkey felt like a mockery of louis at times. All I can say is that I’ve watched most of your previous reactions and you approached this album with lots of judgement from the very start.. and it proved me right while i was getting through the whole video. I don’t know what caused your views on Louis to be this way, but if you couldn’t stay objective and open-minded you should’ve just left this video in the drafts🤷♀️ I could feel and see on you negative attitude before any song even started.

I didn’t like Troy’s energy on this video. Yo who paid this man for this review. Honestly from the first few seconds of the video you can tell something was off it just seemed so disingenuous. Even while he was basically explaining why he wasn't going to like the album I still had hopes because his track record has been good even not liking songs its never been him just shitting on the artist like he is now. The contradictions are wild too lol mans is grooving to the song and a half second later its shit outdated, corny, goes on for too long. Next song he gets what he wants but finds another reason to call it shit even though it just gave him what he wanted the last song haha
i feel like everyone expects louis to pull off a harry tbh and that´s just not his style, its always the "he never truly evolved since 1D" and its so definitely not true. 1D's sounds were heavily influenced by Louis and it shows, and honestly slay. this album may definitely come across as a grower. the sound departure from walls is actually major if you listen to both albums back to back; first record being more ballady and slow tempo; also you get the idea of what the album is with reading what Louis said about it - it's all about live shows! thus why big emphasis on instrumentals. she's beauty will sound massive btw Blake explained it quite well :)

I think you really do great reviews, but I have to say I disagree with you. I think Louis is straying away from the pop tone, and I think you judged it as one when it is not. I loved this album personally, I have had it on repeat every day since it came out. I think he has evolved so much from walls. This is personally such a phenomal album to me from his improvement in his vocals, production, music, and just everything. But everyone has different opinions, so I get it just disagree. Also, Louis wrote most of the 1D songs especially the bangers, so that is why you can hear the 1D influence because he wrote most of all of them. I also feel like if you heard “silver tounges” you would love it if it was a 1D song. I am watching your video more currently and it is aggravating me how you are being pretty rude. I dont dude…its fine to disagree but like constructive criticism? And maybe truthful ones too that dont have your bias interfering with it. No hate, I am just annoyed. Um okay so i have some thoughts here, but let me just say i do no intend to bash you im just offended FOR Louis at this point
1) the mockery was not needed for an honest review. You made fun of his accent saying that you couldnt understand what he was saying. Which is understandable but not when you literally have the lyrics on the screen in front of you.
2) I also feel that in past reviews of albums or songs that you didnt like you would simply say something like "this part is a little repetitive" or "im not sure i love this part" - which u did say at times in this video but my problem with it started when u were straight up mocking the melodies and like honking the lyrics out as if you werent jammimg to it the first time around, most song's keep the same melodies and rythms throughout choruses. Im not sure why u felt Louis had a responsibility to change up the melody every other verse. I agree with you in thinking that Louis could've changed up the key of his voice or could've done more with his voice at times but just because he didn't do that in most of the songs - doesn't mean its a bad song or a bad album. His voice is beautiful as it is, without needing to go overboard.
3) maybe you dont know this but Louis wrote almost every single song by one direction which is why theres a resemblance.
4) WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ENERGY YOU HAD WITH WALLS?! In that video u were much more enthusiastic going into it. Whereas with this album it seemed like u hated it before you even began listening to it.
