Seriously blown away by this album. For some reason I wasn’t vibing with the singles as much as I hoped I would. Listening to them in the context of the album really made me love them though. Writen All Over Your Face is the moment! I also really love That’s The Way Love Goes. On first listen those were my faves. It’s impossible to pick a fave now though because it’s all so good I can’t handle it
no bc i thought i didn’t love out of my system or silver tongues as much as the other songs until it clicked and now i’m obsessed 😭 and yes i agree i can’t handle how good it is and every song is elite

IMO the more listen I think there aren't really that many songs about heartbreak (at least romantic), he's said he likes writing songs about different topics that are disguised as love songs (I think Lucky again, Saturdays, angels fly, hoth and she is beauty can be examples of that) I like that he hansn't really explained any of the songs, he did it with Walls and now he wants everyone to have their own interpretations.
There are also 5 more songs in the album that are cd, vinyl or digital exclusived only. The songs are called "Saved by a stranger", "High in California", "Paradise", "Change" and "Copy of a Copy of a Copy". You should listen to these too. I'm sure someone has already uploaded them on TH-cam or if you don't want to stream them illegally you can only listen to "Change" and "Copy of a Copy of a Copy" from his live concerts.

When he did promo for walls, he said that kill my mind was the sound he wanted to go for. He grow up listening to Arctic monkeys, Oasis and Green Day, so seems like this genre was always who wanted to sound. I still think has part of that essence of walls in some songs but with a more musical production thinking in the lives shows. I agree that holding into heartache has to be part of the album in my opinion instead of she is a beauty and we are world class seems like that one is the most dislike by everyone. I love how you really listen to the production and you really enjoy the depth of the lyrics especially when it tells the story. You should do a reaction to Kelly Clarkson's Christmas album called when Christmas comes around. She has some great original songs on there, deep lyrics that reflect what's going on in her life and the arrangements of some old classics are refreshing

This is one of the best albums I’ve heard in years. The song that’s my least favorite (re production) was Bigger Than Me. Written All Over Your Face is my favorite. BTW, you were really off in quoting lyrics from Holding onto heartache. Once, I get, the second time? I think you might want to look at the lyrics as you’re listening or take a beat to read them before listening to a song. Hearing you repeat “I don’t know what this is about” numerous times was an odd experience. I don’t think When Angels Fly is about a breakup. It’s about trying to start again after a break up or time apart when feelings are still raw and the lyrics are about trying to provide reassurances that they’ll have time to talk and he’ll be there the next day-in the meantime, be good to yourself and take a break from the pain … sort of song.
