Superb sounds - thanks for making these available! Just got my VZ-1 a few weeks ago and have been having fun learning to program it. It's surprisingly versatile!
I have had mine since 1988, purchased new from Sam Ash on 48th St. NYC the old "Music Row" I was going for a Roland D50 put is was beyond my pay grade!
This is the MOST beautiful synth made by CASIO. PERIOD. I'd love to see in this one, besides phase distorsion, a vector syntesis as my SY22. Combining op fm with AWM it may bring you surprises. PD mixed with AWM with a stick (vector sy) could have been stunning. I guess...
Nice patches!! I can't wait to load them into my unit! They sound stellar! Great job Thank you! I use an app called "MIDI OX' which still works on windows 10!
I have 2 Boxed Rom sound cards! RC-110 US collection and RC-130 European collection! These were purchased 2yrs after I bought my VZ-1 from Sam Ash on 48th St. NYC in 1988. The VZ-1 comes with RC-100 with purchase. Still used in 2023!
Sounds like me I still have the ROM collection of Sounds and still use them to this day and never run out of musical ideas. Even if AI synthesizers could make all traditional synths obsolete, casio VZ is still and always will be a tough act to follow but people never fully realize it's potential. The way to put this in prespective, i would still say to this day, Long lived the legendary Casio VZ synth!
I'm amazed that there are others out there that are like me I sold my first vz1 and spent months years later trying to replace it originally i thought I kind of hated it then after it was gone I missed it its definitely a strange keyboard
I know what you mean when you had second thoughts of what strange sounds you can get out of this synth. A lot of people don't realize what possibilities it has.
Those patches sound great, lots of rich harmonics. The VZ really seems to excel at interesting organ and bell sounds, metallic percussion. The bass drum in the closing song sounds fantastic, did you program that patch too?
Yeah and the style of talking completes the 90s home video feel. I think it’s just on point - feels, looks and sounds like the only true way to introduce this wicked beauty… 😂
Nice bells. My Evolution EVS-1 does similar sounds

Thanks so much for the kind words. Truly it is very versatile and the sky's the limit. Certainly a lot you or anyone can do with this amazing machine.

Thanks for the kind words and glad that you liked them so much. Oh yeah the bass drum I've programed that as well inside the VZ also.
ugh, what a lo-fi mic!
Hihihihi I was using a cheap mic

@TheCliffzone Mic sounds cool
@@mrstephenpariah Thanks, but at least it wasn't too bad for my first pod cast. lol...
Amazing ! Thanks ! Will the patches work with a VZ10M ?
Thank you so much. As long as you have a keyboard midi controller the patches should definitely work well with the VZ10M
@@TheCliffzone 😃😃😃 I'm really looking forward to Future Sounds from TheCliffzone 👍👍👍
