They should only use 2 sets in fp1, then beofe fp2 starts put on the Mediums, they should only use 1 set and tell them to conserv tyres, then fp3 set the hards and they will only use the 1 set of hards. Obviously depends on the different tracks and tyre wears but bassically they will max use 3 sets of softs, 1 set medium and 1 set hards
I'll have to give that a try! But after a run I'll move the sliders and take a picture of it so I know where the good/great/optimal is. And by the end of p2 or half way through p3 I usually hit 100%. For F1 manager 23 they need to make it where they always show the previous setups and can tell you if the previous was good/great/optimal, always annoying to take pictures

Its an F1 rule. Two sets of dry tyres must be returned after each practice session whether you use them or not (unless it rains). So its best to use two sets in each practice. Hope that helps.

It isn't cheating. Let's be real, every team has an idea of the setup for each circuit on the calendar. Nobody goes to Monza with max downforce or Monaco with none. This just makes it less time-consuming and less irritating. Not a chance I'm going to waste my time doing practice.

Good but not always worth it. I tried it. With Danny ric it worked well. He got a 96. With Lando at the start of p3 he was at 64%. Couldnt risk the skip. Went on their suggested....up to 78. Did 1 last stint myself and changed them myself. Got 97. I can get mid to high 90's easily myself. It foesnt take half an hour. Send them out 20 laps fuel. 16x speed. Call in when 5/5. Change each wing once. Send back out. Repeat until p3 and then tweak it to in the bars.
I'm not sure you know how the calculator works... get your set-up based on the race track, sim session, and look at the slider location, yeah your engineers will change the sliders. take the slider position number and the comments and add those to the calculator, get a new set-up from the calculator and enter this into your car set-up. You should get consistently mid to high 90% and very often 100%.. this is per car, and you can do it after any session except at the end of session 3, obviously. I've stopped even this, and get acceptable numbers from a cheat sheet, do set-ups from the sheet, sim sessions, i'm pretty happy with anything in the 90%s, and get those consistently, getting to a 100% hasn't given me any obvious advantage.

The softs are currently bugged. Sticking with hards & mediums foe the races manages tyre temps
Using mediums and hards still requires you to give back a set of sorts even if you didn't use one
@@R3RS2024 they literally ignore run plans and selected compounds. I tell them to use hards or mediums and they just use 2 softs instead.
Just do practice on your own insteed of complaining of Cheats

Problema with simulate is the use of red tyres. It makes qualifcation impossible if you're middle of the grid.
Before you go to the simulate, I set it up for hard tyres and 60 lap runs. That stopped it for me.
