i manage to hit 90%-100 on both cars most races. FP1 i run soft tyres (a single set on lowest push mode with both clean air and high curb toggled) running between 15-17 laps depending on track - this will vary depending on driver-engineer relationship. Aiming for complete 5/5 feedback runs FP2 i run the same strategy on mediums with a push lap to get a better time in the session - this impacts the drivers mentality. Aiming for complete 5/5 feedback runs. By FP2 end you should have 55-65% track acclimatization FP3 a single long run on hards to max the track acclimatization. Important note, do not do a 3rd run in FP1 and FP2 if you can not complete the 5/5 feedback. If you finish the session with an unknown setting, it effects driver mentality negatively
I use 2 sets of softs in P1 (15 laps each) and I only move the angle of the wings to get optimal straights. It only takes 29 seconds. If you move the rest it takes 4 min and 24 seconds. It takes no time when you move them between sessions. Try it.
Can you direct me to the video you did last year that explanes how to do the math to see how long each set of tires will be competitive for or could you show us again in a new tire video
Great game, other then the fact I get massive grid penalties for swapping engines, ers systems and gearboxes both within practice sessions and before a race weekend. 🙄
But after adjustment nothing changes. After 1 practice all parameters have been restored. This game is raw. A lot of bugs. Very disappointed about this purchase
Great guide. Question: Why reduce the "Pace Mode" on the runs? According to the on screen text it has no influence on any car component, right? I normally set it to the max, to offset the loss from the Kerds and Clean Air options.
its practice, the result you get or position doesnt affect anything in the game. So you go on double save mode to decrease the chance that the driver shunts and damages the car. You can even go a step further and ingame give both drivers instructions to avoid kerbs and drive in clean air to further decrease deterioration of engine and components
@@IgnaAlvarezVL appreciate the answer, but that was not my question. My question was "What component is he protecting by running a lower Pace Mode?". That's the question. If you run a higher pace mode, you get the laps done quicker, so you get the driver's feedback faster.
@@ruioliveira1832 If it functions the same as during races, all these (curbs, clean air and pace modes) will negatively impact the drive components.
This game is Trash. When I don't TUNE the car with a set up my starting position are 5 and 6 with both of my drivers. WITH THE TUNE UP setting my positions ARE STILL THE F***ING the same!!!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

There is also a website where it tells you what the oerfect setup is. I use it and have 100% every race
Kinda defeats the purpose though doesn’t it, ice to have a challenge

@@Neolithic5556 yea like if you just want to get into quali it's easy to just do only takes P1 and P2 for it
I normally just save and simulate to quali and then take a photo of the setup then go back to prac 1 and try line it up.
Your videos are so helpful man, so easy to understand!

I did THE. SAME. SETUP. for Lando Norris, shown at 9:17, and only got 97%...
Any idea on how to 100% setup with BOTH. DRIVERS? Please?? 🙏😊

or Simply use the F1 manager set up calculator..
Is that a app?
Well that just defeats the purpose. Kinda ruins it
