The QUEEN OF RUST!!!! The Angel kitty is fabulous!!!! NO WAY is that a cheap little plastic kitty! Great projects! I am fascinated with the dripping technique ❤
Absolutely beautiful! That swan stole my heart! So wish that there were products out there that we could all afford to try. I envy you and thank you so much for being the inspiration that you always are
Wow!! That swan , bunny, & kitty with wings are my go to’s❤️💓❤️ That kitty has my heart tho!! Between his face, the wings , & that rocking patina!! Ooo La La !! 💓💫💓
The swan is just gorgeous. I like patina as much as anyone but I just think sometimes there can just be too much. Sometimes you can’t tell what an item is because it just looks like it’s glowing almost it’s too green/ blue?? I think that paint was meant to be an accent not an all over color. I am looking forward to trying it ❤.
Loving that Swan. It turned out perfect. The bunny looks so much happier being a chocolate. The original you had to look close to se it was a bunny. Your right, his feet were adorable. I’ve a cement one similar to yours n think I’m gonna try your method on it. Each piece was a master piece even the little bird. So much inspiration watching you that I can never get enough. ♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟🌟🥰
Gamechanger indeed! Who woulda thunk it? Adding clay to that bird and letting the layers of paint run just captured the look of a ceramic piece. I think there are more like this in your future....
Love to see you having so much fun. You are fearless when it comes to new ideas. Yes? No? Maybe? Oh, heck, I’ll give it the Ginger Chick try and see what I get. You are an inspiration to all us scaredy cats who are afraid to try new techniques. Thanks.
Aww.. thank you. Yes I definitely don’t mind sharing new techniques. Even if they aren’t great.. hopefully I’ll try them again and have better results. I hope that helps other when I share those kind of things.
That kitty turned out great!! You have such a great eye! Every time I see you use your air compressor to blow the dust you've made, I think, "wow, her shop must be dusty!" I am redoing our furniture in the garage with hubbies car right next to me, if I did that, oh boy!! 😂
What a makeover of the rocking horse! Oh, the crackle on that swan! That sweet bunny is stinkin’ sweet! The cat looks metal! Amazing! Your ‘pottery bird’ was cute! Love all that you do!❤
I liked all of the makeo ers. But the bunny and the swan are my favorites! I used to read a story to my kids about a chocolate bunny and the character looked just like your bunny. To me the swan tonight was an all star!!
The rabbit is actually called a Moon Gazing Hare. The Romans were enchanted by them and watched them around the encampments in and around Chester UK. I have two and I love them watching above us.
You have absolutely inspired me! I am an animal lover! I look for animals in thrifting all the time! I have small bunnie just like the one you did! Sweet as can be! I will be redoing it in a few days! Thank you so much for all of your great ideas! You are so talented! Blessings to you!
Love what you did with the critters! The clay on the bird was AWESOME! I'm going to have to try that. Hope you and Chris had a great Labor Day. TFS Yvonne
I have a swan like yours from a thrift store years ago and now i see what you did with yours so now i know what to do with mine sorta, lol. I have been going through my garden pile with inspiration from you as it feels like a early winter here in anchorage alaska and my garage is not heated. Happy days to you..😊😊😊
The rocking horse came out fantastic. And the swan! You did all this creative “stuff “ and I restrained my mailbox post. :) Taking advantage of a couple days of sun in a row. But hot and humid.
I recently found two swans at a garage sale. They are about 14 inches in length. One was $3 and the other was just $1…. because it was left outdooes and water got inside the swan. I had my husband drill some holes in the bottom to drain the water. We’ll see how this works out. I figured I could plug up the holes with air dried clay. I plan on keeping this one for myself 😅.
Everything looks adorable. Love all of the techniques. But I noticed you use the fan brush a lot. May I ask why and is there Is there any specific one that you would recommend? Thanks and was that Weather Defense spray for metal or wood that you were using. thanks again!!!
I like a fan brush a lot for smaller pieces . Applies the paint evenly.. doesn’t grab to much paint on the brush which helps give a smooth stroke. Also helps eliminate drips and runs. The weather defense is for metals. Only because that’s what I have on hand. And a lot of time I’m spraying multiple different items, wood , metal, resin. So it seems to work on all of them. They do make a wood one also.
What is your recommendation on a very masculine dark gray for furniture? I also would like to know your recommendation on a gray that is best for getting the cement look. Thank you!!
I often wonder if the people who gave the items away ever see them looking fresh and new again and think, "I like that! I used to have one of those, but it wasn't as nice as that one!" 😅😂
Is your swan for sale? As always everything is so cool. Great job again my friend. If your selling the swan please let me know what your selling it for. If not a lot I would love to have the opportunity to buy it. Thank you hugs
I wonder with the chipping texture if you need to spray finish it to prevent any paint falling off. ?? Do you think the wax finish will hold the paint on?
@@GingerChickRehab True, years ago I bought an antique sign- chippy goodness I gave it a coat of marine varnish to prevent anything falling off. So far so good.
Thanks!
Thank you ❤

Love the rabbit makeover!
That paint is so fun to use. I love the crackle. All your projects look great. I would think the Slick Stick kept the paint from cracking as much.
That cat angel turned out AMAZING. That has inspired me to try those patina paints. WOW!
Gamechanger indeed! Who woulda thunk it? Adding clay to that bird and letting the layers of paint run just captured the look of a ceramic piece. I think there are more like this in your future....
I especially lovvvve the winged cat. Fascinating to see the results of the patina paints & sprays you used. ❤

Thank you! 😊
Awesome finds awesome makeovers tyvm! They turned out great
Thanks so much!
When you draped the little bird in the white clay I was “oh”. Then as you progressed with your idea I loved it. So unique
I’ve seen people who use stirrups as a paper napkin holder. Loved seeing your haul, especially the nested Santa’s!
What a makeover of the rocking horse! Oh, the crackle on that swan! That sweet bunny is stinkin’ sweet! The cat looks metal! Amazing! Your ‘pottery bird’ was cute! Love all that you do!❤

I love the cat...❤ how do you determine selling price of these makeovers?

Aww.. thank you Mary. It’s up for auction on my eBay. Link in the description 🤍
Love everything! ! Do you sell on your site?
I wonder with the chipping texture if you need to spray finish it to prevent any paint falling off. ??
Do you think the wax finish will hold the paint on?
I think it should.. the chippiness is part of the character.. even spraying it my not guarantee it.

I want the rabbit soooo bad.
Do you clean your brush each time you use it in the clear wax?
Yes.. I do. It will harden even in a zip lock

How do we find your items on eBay?
