I only found you last December. Trying to catch up on your videos. LOL. I have purchased from your e-bay store and the item was great. I have watched a lot of folks doing similar re-dos, but your work is always top-notch. It never looks cheap and half done. You and Chris are a great team.
I love the way you work on project pieces. You re-do pieces like you would want them to be done for your own home. It is sturdy, smooth, and ready to go.
I luv the fact that you and Chris find and care for furniture like the black cabinet and give it new life instead of it eventually being destroyed. Wow!😊
I enjoyed watching you and Chris fix up the black wood and tin cabinet. It turned out so well. And I was thinking, “Chris always has just the tool needed for every occasion.” I loved everything on your tables from the various other stops you made. I am sad but my husband is so happy that we don't live anywhere near your booth.
YAY! Happy Valentine Day to YOU!!!! Beautiful haul!!! I gasped when someone FINALLY mentioned the IOD release!!!! 😂 SO glad the Sisters are using you again!!!!!
We are moving our warehouse and I am finding items I have never seen before. We do clean outs for realtors and I do not always go on the jobs. I am finding so many goodies. My favorite so far is a beautiful blown pink glass swan.
I love seeing what you do with your purchases. You make everything so beautiful. Speaking of beautiful your hair is so pretty. I always enjoy your channel. Thank you.
I would buy that cute red nut chopper if you list it for sale rather than donating it. It's pretty cute, I love everything you find. Over the few years, I've been able to purchase a couple items from you. I love your style!
What a wonderful day for you guys!!! My goodness it was fantastic with what all you got. Chris buddy ya worked your magic and then Chick came in for the save! I miss football :( Any who , everything is wonderful, Congrats on the big sale of the swings. The two you brought home is, WOW! God Bless. Hugs, Rebekah
My son Andrew had that same Buddy L truck when he was little. It gave him hours of fun in his sandbox. The rosary display is gorgeous. I am not a swung vase fan, but the tall one is fabulous. Great Haul.
Great pieces! I love the corner cabinet! ❤️ The black one looks so much better!🎉 Dundee Ginger! I love it!😊 The little metal vases on wood are Oreo!😊 Yummy watering can and washtub!❤ Wonderful way to display rosaries!🎉 Thanks for sharing! Missed your ‘bye’❤
Sweet friend enjoy as always seeing you and Chris been with with the both of you for a number of years don't comment all the time . Here to support you. Prayers Blessings to You Chris and both of your families. Thanks for always sharing.❤
As a former Home Interior seller, we sold a ton of those candelabras, so them being easily accessible makes sense. I’m thrilled that your updated version extends their appeal. As a reseller, I admire and what you and Chris do, thank you, and I collect rosaries too.
The pointed metal pieces are tobacco spikes. They go on the ends of tobacco sticks to "spike" the tobacco stalks onto the sticks as it is being cut in the field. Love the way they were being displayed.
Those are the original lids! My mom had tons of the Correlle and they all came with those lids. I have a couple, and they also have those lids.. Different names, same company! I love everything you've found, the furniture is stunning! First time seeing that particular dundee.. love it so much❤ Found a vintage oval brass frame today with deep a burgandy velvet mat! Has a very pretty winter scene art piece. Also found A large 2pc set of the Blue Boy & Pinky art pieces in brass frames.. stoked!! Omggg that amber vase is beyond stunning!!! The rosary's look so good on the bottle! Totally enjoyed the video😊
Love your behind the scenes videos. My husband watches them with me and is so impressed with all the finds, work, and love that goes into your process. We went picking on Valentine’s Day as well. It was the perfect day! Not much selling here in Colorado right now but hopefully it will pick up so the cash flow continues. I love to shop too! Thank you for all your inspiration!
*Your swung vases are gorgeous - so HAPPY YOU SOLD 5 SWUNG VASES to one buyer and FOUND 2 MORE RIGHT AWAY, Yvonne❣️💛❤😉* *Chris did such a nice job - as usual - of fixing that cobbled together "Frankenstein" black 🖤 cupboard to make it close properly and stand securely without wobbles - and you did a meticulous job on the paint and galvanized panel - again, as usual 😊 - to make that piece ready to be treasured for another 30 years‼️🤍🖤 And that blue cubby, the TALL WOODEN CORNER CABINET and the metal washtub are ALL SPECTACULAR❣️🙉💜* *I also love that white architectural salvage fretwork just the way it is❣️‼️🤍🤍🤍 What EYE CANDY 🍬 in this video - THANKS FOR SHARING IT❣️*
Gee. Yvonne, see it was so easy😂😂😂😂. He got the door open,😂. That turned out very beautiful. Oh my stars, I’m in love with green Fenton bird. You really found some very cool things. The metal piece with holes and handles, that goes into a bigger pot to drain what you cook out of the liquid. 😊❤
The black knob would be adorable with a bottle brush xmas or spring tree., the enamel ware in a vignette together with tulips in the pitcher would be beautiful for spring, or really any season. Great haul.
You have really inspire me to redo all my bedroom furniture in the French County White Style and then using the Brown Antique Wax and a sealing spray over each piece. My first piece that I did was a 1903 hope chest that had 5 layers of different colors of paint. I had no sander, so I did it all by hand. It turned out beautiful! Thank you so much for giving me the courage that I can do this, even as a beginner. I had my own Home Decor and Craft business in a booth, and did very well in selling all my items, since every piece was one of a kind. Nothing you could buy at Hobby Lobby. The best thing I loved was refurbishing items that I would pick up at a thrift store and make it into something beautiful out of it. Watching all your videos makes me miss in what I enjoyed so much, but now I can see it thru your eyes and you creating wonderful items. Thank you again!!! Keep doing in what you do. I would love to see more videos of all your booths to see what items have sold, even if it’s only once a month. Debbie
Yvonne and Chris, you are such a talented wonderful team and your bond together makes your videos such a pleasure to watch! Love this channel, can't get enough! You will go far in all that you do!!
Growing up catholic that the black rosaries were given to males and white to females just like white and black bibles. I have a clear small slung glass vase and on a online auction that I saw colored slung glass vase prices here in Alasksa that would have made you cry as I did not realize how valuable in the lower 48 they are. Please share some prices with us so that some of us know what we have as I love seeing your finds. 😊😊😊
Hi, just wanted to say we live watching…just some info for you… the Corningware has the original lid… Pyrex, Corelle, and Corningware are All the same company… also Gemco made several “go withs” that have the Corningware patterns (like S&P, & Sugar & Creamers, etc.) So, anytime you find a Pyrex lid it may be for a Corningware dish 😊 The rectangular wood piece with the 3 tubes in it are tobacco stick spears… it’s what they used in the South for spearing tobacco leaves.
I love the furniture you found. My mom gave me a tall vase like the gold one you held up only it is really long and when we picked it up the bottom was cracked. I still have it it is very old I am going to try to fix it .
Great finds! I was at some estate sales on Friday and I got a Dundee orange marmalade crock with lid I paid $10.00 it's in perfect condition. Was that a good price for it? IDK They had two and after I got home I wish I had bought them both.
*Yvonne, the 2 green, 1 blue and 1 clear square ⬛️ glass pieces that you thought were salt dips are actually furniture coasters for the feet of sofas that had porcelain or wooden wheels, and the wheels set inside of the coaster. They were used in rooms where the sofa was sitting on rugs or carpet to keep the sofa from sliding all over the floor. 😉 Please shine a black light on them - they may have uranium in them and glow. 😊* *Now back to the video.😂*
OMG, I am so glad you commented on this. I have one, but there were several at home when I grew up. I always thought they were ashtrays. Thanks for the info!
@@sarahrenfrow9795 *You're welcome, Sarah! I grew up around old things - my parents were Antique Dealers and old things are constructed so much better - furniture is real wood! I love and collect Depression glass...these furniture coasters are getting harder to find.*
The casserole dish is a pyrex and the lid is original. I have the exact same piece. Was a wedding gift 40 years ago this June. ❤ i just looked at mine. Top says pyrex, bottom does say corning.
I have a lady near me, in Dayton Ohio, who closed down her booth, and is selling most things for $1 or $2. Nothing is over $20! I, instantly, thought of you!
Ohhh my!! What awesome pieces youins found! The black cabinet was biding it's time and waiting for you to bring it back! Love it! You guys work together like a timeless Swiss clock! I am on love with the green cubby...keeping my eye out for one. I cannot get over how much vintage tin, doorknobs, etc you find...love every single piece! Thank youins sooo much for sharing another great video with us! ❤. I'm trying to play catch up on your videos....been down for the count several days....( It " sucker punched" me LOL!) God Bless youins always. ❤.
As soon as I saw that great I immediately went back to the doilies. Try doily anyway put it behind it and see what it looks like and I’ll just wash the thing off the grade a good cleaning and then lay down and set that right on top of it right in the middleand see what it looks like and then if you have to eat, might take some like little silver or gold just a little bit and put it on the edges of the great look up beautiful OK good luck
I have my mom's corelle from the 70s same pattern, she bought them new and they came with pyrex lids,I believe most of the lids were pyrex because corelle lids were thin and couldnt take the heat.
A disappointment on that auction turned out to be actually better. As you found some wonderful items at different places. Loving both of the tall cabinets you found. And of course all your other goodies. That Swan vase (amber) was gorgeous. I never knew about them until I started watching your channel n now I’m always looking for one or maybe more. I’m a rusty crusty lover like you too. They always have a story to tell. You too take good care of each other. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟

I have to agree. Ginger Chick is my #1 Utuber. I love both of their channels.♥️😊👍
I love the way you work on project pieces. You re-do pieces like you would want them to be done for your own home. It is sturdy, smooth, and ready to go.
Amen to that ❤
I luv the fact that you and Chris find and care for furniture like the black cabinet and give it new life instead of it eventually being destroyed. Wow!😊
Thank you
Favorite part of these type videos is your excitement about your finds ❤❤❤
I absolutely love your attention to detail. I hate grabby wood because it can’t even be dusted properly.
I know.. it just collects dust

We have family in Michigan and Ohio. I got to visit Hog Creek and Yvonne's booth. I bought a rolling pin that she decopauged . @@brendasmiley6128

You are an amazing team! Loved you rosary display idea.
Speaking to someone having a smooth surface so there is no snagging on the dust cloth shows how professional you are!!
Love the way you displayed the rosaries

Looking forward to seeing you work on these projects and the wonderful reveal!,,
I think I’ve auctioned a 100 quilts atleast! That’s where my eyes go no matter where I’m at. But, I’m a quilter too.
The pointed metal pieces are tobacco spikes. They go on the ends of tobacco sticks to "spike" the tobacco stalks onto the sticks as it is being cut in the field. Love the way they were being displayed.
The red chopper jar could be a vessel for dried flowers and some type of a ribbon with old marbles in the jar. ???
Nice to see some Chris's thought process in fixing things. I wouldn't have thought to cut the bottom to match the feet!
Love the black cabinet! The "love" you gave it sure shows up and is now a proud piece!! Thanks for sharing with us! :)
Great vid as usual👍❤🤩

I believe the green and blue little glass things are actually ashtrays. My grandmother had a clear one.
