I actually trained this guy when he was a rookie deputy chief Frank is one of the most down-to-earth level-headed intelligent individuals that they have an upper management. He's a lifelong detroiter and loves the city of Detroit
How long has the DPD had a homicide unit? Do they still need help after all that time? Apparently, DPD didn't even work the case for 24 hours before asking for help. Does the FBI have so little work to do that they have time to drop federal criminal investigations to do DPD's job? Is nation wide, missing persons data accessible directly by DPD?
If you are so critical of Detroit police why don’t you do the job. We are lucky there is anyone who wants that job. It is not easy and by your comment a thankless job
@dawnmiller6899 You are reading far too much into my questions and you're missing the point: Why? I'm sure the DPD is capable of conducting a homicide investigation. They have a lot of experience. The DPD, like many if not all departments has had its ups and downs, corruption, etc. Again, I'm of the opinion that DPD is capable of conducting a homicide investigation. (Compliment not criticism) Does the FBI help with every homicide investigation? If so, why even have a homicide unit at DPD? If the FBI doesn't help with every investigation, why is this one so special? What can the FBI do that the DPD cannot?

Dumbing down America wasn't just a slogan.. most journalists aren't even journalists.. They're activists.
If I was the Deputy Chief. It would've been a very short statement.. Repeating the answered questions annoys me..
He looks nervous
How he would know how long the person was there ???
Think before you all speak.
There's different ways to tell. Sounds gross but...different bugs show up at different decomposition stages...but that's in forensics not beat cops.
I wonder if it's Na'Ziyah😢
My first thoughts, bring this baby home.
