Just To Clarify The Misconception or whatever, I was talking about the newer captain rex. Before he even released he went for $35-$60. With pauldron tho it does go for around $150-$200.
Yeah, that comment didn't age well. It's between 100 and 130 now for the new version, no matter whether it's declared as used or new, pauldron notwithstanding.
Eh I kinda do care about investing but not much at the same time. Ngl tho happy the prices of these newer highly wanted figures r dropping cuz it’s so expensive to get them 😭
Felt like reposting because originally video did horrible also I’m not home and i didn’t not want to post anything new so I deleted the video from last week and reposted it, thx for watching 💙
Well I feel the problem with lego Investing are Lego Investors. Since things are getting cheaper due to inflation all I can think is HUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUE Imma buy a 30usd Captain Rex now!
@@obiwanmemehut Yeah, video gaming has a similar problem as well. Like, I understand needing to make a profit and things no longer in production going up in value, but there comes a point where it's too ridiculous. But it's always made me sad, because its always felt like alot of these things we love aren't as loved by investors. And it really shows during the whole Boba Fett mech discourse. Instead of being happy we're getting a slightly updated Boba Fett with a more accurate skin toned head, investors were furious that the fully printed Boba Fett from the UCS Slave 1 will go down in value. I remember there was a point few years ago the OG Cloud City Boba Fett went for 200usd, now he goes for 2,000usd.
Who tf cares about investors. Lego is not about the money (well it is but its a toy) but unfortunately investors have ruined it by making lego worth a down-payment on a house. Investors should get a real job instead of relying on re selling plastic toys for 3x the price. They are the reaosn sets get retired sooner than expected and they are the reson the market for any old minifigure is crazy. I hope they lose all their investing money.
It’s not that I rly encourage investing, just a video idea I had in mind. I personally don’t rly care abt this but from my few investor friends, they were rly dissatisfied abt it. Anyways thx for watching bro 💙

Ngl fax, the LEGO investing side of stuff does kinda ruin the fun of collecting LEGO. Sets such as the AT-OT going for $1000 is just mad.
