Im 36 and sneakers have always been part of the culture here in California. What I find most interesting about the global craze, is that nowadays its really only a handful of silhouettes that are actually popular... air forces, jordan 1s, 3s, 4s, dunks... yeah a new design might be hot for a few years (yeezys, NB550s, etc.) but its really really just those few nikes. It was different in the 90s when Iversons, Pennys, Pippens, shell toes, timbs, were all the rage. Miss those days. Everybody all dress the same now smh

Facts that’s why I still go deep in the archives penny’s airmax, pippens Griffey’s, Barkleys etc and everybody be looking like what are those and because everybody and their moms wearing Jordans and dunks as soon as you step out with something different it’s automatically turning heads I’m tired of seeing clones everywhere I go with the same tight fitting joggers and sneakers it’s crazy they have no style or individuality

Im 40. I still wear Vans daily and have a real issues everytime I find an outrageous pair of sneakers of anybrand. I buy sneakers that will match absolutely nothing in my wardrobe and I will happily wear them, insane colors and fat laces are my faves. I cant get away from them, even when I have other choices!!

I don't understand this rage (maybe I am too old for this generation)
I mean, they are just simple (and often not that comfortable) shoes
Treat them like shoes, invest in a quality pair and live with it. Why do you need those 80k ghar jayenga shoes when it takes 150rs to manufactur it

Part of the reason Sneakers became very popular in Japan was the 2011 earthquake . until then everyone was wearing high heels You could even say women going to the zoo in their high heels and after the big earthquake many people had to walk home for hours in their high heels .

In south africa we have a cheap budget brand called tomy takkies, its been around forever and it lasts pretty well. They are used has p.e takkies. South africa is known for having some of the best international rugby, cricket and netball players and runners as well and alot of them could be spotted in tomy in 90s, when i met my favorite cricketer jonty rhodes he had tomy takkies on. Tomy takkies are the only sneakers that can be folded in half and bounce back into shape. Now days celebrity care more about money and endorsements. I tried other canvas sneakers like vans, jack purcell, all star converse and levis but tomy is still the most comfortable. Even when my son started walking i got him a infant size 3 cos i trust the brand for comfort and growth

I’m lucky with son, didn’t embrace the craze, Never would ever ask a new pair of shoes unless its already worn out. Most of the time I’m the one would convince him to have a new pair, he only have one pair for everything, a bought him a leather type of sneakers he just wore it for a few times but now its only in the shoe rock accumulating dust! 😔😔

The older they are, just like birkenstocks, they are awesome and something to brag about...."yeah, they are 5 years old! That is why they look soo beat up 😊. I have another pair that are older and those look worse!!! 🙂".

I should encourage you to make video about how Indian Marcos helped save the mother ship from Somalia Pirates. Since your channel is an English speaking channel and hence, in the current information warfare, there is a need that normal citizens of other countries understand the impact and importance of India. There are educators like Prashant Dhawan Sir and other TH-camrs who will make / made video on this but I suggest that if videos are made by English channels as well, it helps to increase the soft power of India. Every country spreads propaganda through their respective national news channel since decades, hence, we atleast can spread the good doings of our country.

    Asics Nimbus

And if u have leg injury..
Or If u wanna walk all day..
Or stand and work all day..
Or if u wanna train at slow speeds..
Howrver if u wanna break ur speed record...
Then Nimbus is not the recommended shoe..
For speed record get a shoe with carbon plates..
Saucony has a fabulous model with carbon plates..
But I can't recall the sub brand as of now...

I will forever more keep buying converse shoes for as long as I am lifting weights at the gym. Low and flat soles are perfect for squatting and deadlifting. I hate them for walking or running though because they are so uncomfortable. Asides for converse, I wear hiking/running shoes. They are comfortable, durable and very grippy so I don't slip or fall.

There is this Amharic saying that I came across long ago, which I found appropriate to use in this particular scenario: "እኛ ብለን ብለን የተውነውን ነገር ባሏ ትላንት ሰምቶ ታንቆ ሊሞት ነበር". I am not a professional linguist, but it could be loosely translated as: "Yesterday after her husband heard what we had been talking about for so long, he was on the verge of strangulation."
How about the counterfeit sneaker haven: Putian, Fujian, China, which is the sneakers capital of the world, where the counterfeit products are of high quality and closely resemble the originals? Many documentaries were produced decades ago. Palki thinks she knows better. Also, her audacity to be too serious about this light topic is so messed up lolz. Meh.
