I love how everyone showing slides is doing it on slip surface. When it is almost impossible to do it consistent on asphalt where most ppl ride unless u have really hard wheels or high speed :(
Things to note: those skates come with supremes and a different liner and it looks like he switched his wheels to hydrogen wheels which are known to be a bit better but come in the same size and hardness so it’s not TOO much of a difference
As we get older and our knees are not as strong as they used to be, INLINE SKATING is better than RUNNING. I would suggest you try the INLINE SKATING. Good luck.
You can Start skating with 55 🤷 You might just like to wear more protective gear and to progress slower and more carefull but you can do and learn everithing! 👍

@@dcweber1 That would be RB PRO X or slightly cheaper RB CRUISER (also referred as RB80). Difference is in parts: liner, wheels, 45 buckle; shell is the same. In the past there was also DA signature edition, don't see it now, but maybe still in stores. Although now i see that PRO version is still only with Supreme wheels, while Danny most likely rides Hydrogen. Amazing wheels btw. go for them without hesitation, can't stresss enough how good they are for the price ;-). Worth considering getting cheaper model and just switching the wheels. I've rode RB Cruiser/80 myself and those are "comfortable fit", so do NOT size up! I made that mistake and they became a bit loose, so i switched to RB Twister Edge (another amazing boot + liner combo: stiff, very tight fit, ultra performance, but at a cost of comfort). If you have rather wide feet, go for Cruiser/Pro X. If regular or narrow feet, consider Twister Edge (nowadays Twister XT or SE). They come with Hydrogens by default. All based on my own experience.

@@markoliberty7581 I need to replace my wheels every couple of months after only skating a couple of times a week for a few hours on a concrete skate park using 88a. I don't really slide much either. I would go harder myself if it wasn't for the fact that I go to a wooden park every so often and 90a don't grip. If you skate concrete/asphalt etc and plan on doing slides then I would personally recommend 90a or maybe even a little harder. If you mix it up I'd go 88a imo

Not true, I’ve learned to do the power slide on asphalt with 85a wheels. You just gotta give it more of an angle
What do you want say, that 85A is a soft wheel?
I have 80A, when I do a couple of power slides my wheels start to vanish.
@@markoliberty758185A is the softest wheel I ever use, so yeah it's pretty soft. I'm usually 87A or 88A.
On non slippery surfaces (with no big cracks ofc) you weight your pivoting foot.

I don't think you can, the stop is way too sudden and forceful. I usually just lean and turn hard when I need to stop.
